State-owned incumbent Omantel is selling a majority stake in Pakistan’s loss-making Worldcall Telecom,
its CEO Talal al-Mamari (pictured) has said. Al-Mamari was quoted
telling Reuters that his company has accepted an offer it has received
but declined to comment further because the deal still needs to fulfil
“different requirements”.
