Falling asleep.....

There has been water supply problem for two days ...if the water did not come today...our taps may run dry. All week there was no issue ...water supply was very regular but after the failed protest strike on Thursday...by ji there was a Chuttee...chuttee... Chuttee...on Friday and on Saturday...water started coming on time at 10:30 am ...but stopped after few minutes ...

Maybe I am worrying too much for nothing... hopefully we have a normal supply at 10:30 am

Then I'll be relaxed at noon.

Otherwise I will have to wake up all night after midnight. 

Wanted to order beef Paya for breakfast ...it's getting chilly in the morning and we are crampy usually in the morning....but unfortunately...none of the beef Paya joints are available for delivery.....at this hour.... unbelievably Zahid nihari is also not available...very surprising...so we will probably skip the breakfast....and stay in bed ....and have some for brunch after eleven....

10:08 am I fall asleep again ... something is wrong.....

Anyways ...I better get up and start checking the water pump.....also make tea ...and boil eggs ....if the gas is coming...

I was surfing the panda 🐼 mart..and found kidney and mutton liver with one piece heart ...I told the cooking mafia...and she already had few things in her cart to keep me distracted...on a very quiet and Serene Defence Day Sunday afternoon....

There...as I was saying ...the sound of masala grinder started ...

Anyways,

So together we ordered the groceries...and since the stuff was heavy ..and the gate was locked....( Sunday) ..I had to wait... And receive the groceries..

Cooking has already started....but I cannot predict the menu for the Sunday Brunch ( 3-4 pm) 

Honestly we had leftovers for two days+ but you know 

If we don't cook and eat...we only eat...and that is not good for His Majesty's Govt.

There has been absolute chaos in PCB so Babar Azam and the team decided to give a signed cricket bad to king Charles the 3rd ... 

I am trying ...

The Province split into workable administrative units is getting very interesting....

The Two major political beneficiary of the reform are playing noora kushti both in house and in media....

The cooking mafia celebrated my Happy Birthday ( Lunar) on Thursday and Friday ...

She baked a marble cake with self raising flour...which was almost done ...a little rubbery.

We had to skip dinner that night .

Next day while I was busy with Juma Mubarak 🕌 

She cooked multiple dishes....

I ordered oily mamu Biryani...interesting...when I had their biryani in dine in...it was not oily at all...my guess is that since I walked from the mosque after Juma Mubarak 🕌 in the middle of the day..I was sweating profusely...they were not very eager to serve me ... especially not the oily spicy.... 😆

Good Morning 🌹 

Survived the Eid e milad and the lunar eclipse on the other side of the bridge....sorry on the other side of the hemisphere....in dollar terms ...it occurred after moon set between 9-10 am in the morning..while I am busy checking the water pump...of focused on the breakfast.

Even though we had the mutton pulao and fateha last Sunday but the cooking mafia decided to cook again and distribute....we ordered sweets from Asr e Sheerin Gulshan branch ....I have no idea how that happened....must be a mobile app glitch ...

Anyways , 

In the evening after siesta we went to doctor saab's and returned after watching the lights ....

Both drivers were desperate and hungry....and we were carrying food .

The first one was continuously testing my knowledge of the Google map ...asking for directions and following the instructions from the app support ....they were desperately avoiding the jams...and rallies.

Anyways..we were back home before 8:30 pm ...

Surprisingly, this was the first time in years that the mutton pulao was finished before sunset....

Waited...

Got up and checked water pump...the water was coming very slow...I knew it wasn't coming for long ...but I hoped it would be enough to pump up ..I got up at 8:15 am and checked..

It had stopped 

And there was not enough...so I will have to do it all over again at 10:30 am till noon...

When I checked the gas after checking the water pump...it was not coming ...but now when I checked again after checking the water pump...it was coming ..so I made the tea and gave the tea from last night to the plants ....

One sip of the cardamom tea and the system needs to clear out...brb

8:44 am so we are out of eggs ..and bread ...so either I go to the market or I order online with some other groceries....before I decide...I need to check the online shopping app....if the things in my weekly cart are still available.....

9:54 am Done shopping...

Had lays classic and tea for breakfast.

So now I have very little time to rest ...before I get up and go check the water pump again ....

The most important part of online shopping is the unpacking or unboxing and shelving....it's usually fun but today I got exhausted...not sure why...maybe because I haven't eating anything since dinner ...at 8 pm...9,10,11,00,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10...a fourteen hours fast....no wonder it feels like I have done shopping from a superstore....when all I did ..was took the bags from the rider at the gate , 

Carried the bags inside 

Cut the seal 

Removed the items from the bags and lined them on the table for photoshoot 

Place them at their regular places in refrigerator and kitchen shelves.

Okay it's time to check the water pump....

7:44 am After prayer I smelled the fresh Rose...this Sunday morning there is one fresh Rose and many week old fading and a few buds and new leaves ...plus a few dead or dying plants ....some due to my negligence and most due to unfavorable weather .

Anyways...I checked there was no gas in the stove ...gas comes late on Sundays and there is no ten to 12 :30 pm Gap in the supply.

Returned to bed ...tried to sleep.... abruptly woke up at 7:18 am 

Got up and checked the water pump...so its permanent...no water on Sunday morning ...but no Chuttee... chuttee....Chuttee..as well...they want me to stay awake before the noon. 10:30 am to 12 noon.

Okay I have no problem....just as  I have no problem with the neighbors parking their car Infront of the main gate and don't remove it for 24 + hours....

I knew that sooner or later they will realize that they killed the wrong brother and will waste their time and resources to test the remaining.....

Anyways....

It has been a very quiet weekend ...no door banging since Friday after Juma Mubarak 🕌.....from upstairs...only occasional chair sliding .... suggested that nephew and especially niece is out having picnic ...or probably left for the US .....good riddance

Today is Eid e Zahra....no idea ... Google it....

There is no Islamic or logical explanation for it by any Ai ...we only know because yesterday the city traffic police issued traffic diversions plan for chup tazia processions on main roads .and after the morning ends come the celebration...what a waste.

Anyways there can be no celebration in this God forsaken City until the foreign donors and loan givers stop funding the multi million dollars development projects that has ruined the city.

I'll planned flyovers and underpasses have made the life of the daily commuters impossible.

I personally have stopped socializing and even avoid going out to other towns for  shopping.... recently I ordered my sneakers through online shopping...can you imagine.

Have a lot for breakfast and brunch no need to order or takeaway but you never know...I will stay quiet today and go with the flow....

I did not realize that I arrived at the joint sweating profusely....

The waiter completely ignored me for five minutes....and served me a very non oily less spicy plate of hot chicken Biryani...

Their chicken piece is very small as compared to the other Biryani we regularly order.

Anyways it was a good experience as I have not eaten at a restaurant with complete strangers for a long time.i don't even remember when the last time I did this .... definitely not in the past five years since ....

I am feeling crampy and cold ...need to get up and turn the fan off...the weather is cool and cloudy ...not very windy....

I'll have to order instant coffee...today ...we may not have coffee in the house...it has been a very long and hot summer ...and look now the weather is changing for the good....

Soon she would be telling me to take it and deliver it ....

I haven't had a proper breakfast or brunch...but I had lots of tea , a boiled egg, and some leftover khichri.... that I discovered while searching for something in the freezer.

It was delivered the same day about an hour and half ago  ....

Slowly and gradually I learned to use it ...signed in the wifi...

I am so surprised and pleased at myself that I still remember the wifi password....even though nobody asked me for it this year.

My dear elder sister was very pleased to see her favorite Turkish drama series on the wall.

The main problem is the tiny  remote...and the focus .also the right 

Somehow after fully wasting the money ...I feel relaxed and young.

I haven't eaten for hours ...so I am beginning to feel hungry.

Also have to check if there is anything forgotten by the cooking mafia in the kitchen after cooking ...slowly and quietly we did the dishes ..

Back in bed and doing the Sunday Blog....also checking the social media....

The most interesting news this morning is that there is a Crude oil leakage on khayaban e Seher street 13 DHA Karachi 

Another news is that DHA 8 is now a gated community....it is not clear if the Emaar crescent bay will be part of it or not and what will happen with do Dariya food street.i will probably update in the coming blogs when I am hundred percent sure or personally denied entry.

The sound of boring for water has stopped...from the corner of the back alley and the tripod has moved to the front street three houses down the lane.

The neighbors with the ducks....ordered tanker water not sure why.

The water mafia has probably changed the Sunday time for opening the supply from 7:30 am to 10:30 am .but I have to check at both times just in case...

So it's time I have to get up from the bed and go check the water pump.....

It did not rain all week ...but it was windy and cloudy most of the week .if my leg was not hurting so bad ...I would have enjoyed the long walk ...but here I only went to the mosque once for Juma Mubarak 🕌 

And  walked a little extra for the Azadi Baja ( horn) ...bought two from outside the gas ⛽ station .

So I had fruits instead of halwa Puri breakfast....

I also have some leftovers from last night...it was too spicy ...

I ordered half chargha from newly opened chargha town....and they send me two qtrs ...if I wanted two qtrs I would have ordered two qtrs....

Thank God the All Mighty Allah Amen 🙏...

I did not ordered a full grilled chargha or they would have sent me 4 qtrs ....jahil qom...

Anyways it was so spicy that I was not able to eat it even with my plain rice....will try again with the leftovers...and I am done now I won't be ordering from this restaurant.

Weather is very cloudy but no drizzle...only the split AC of the panthouse next door is dripping very fast ...as if a tap or pipe leak ....they recently install the solar panels...I believe you got the drift.

Finally the rose plants have started to give 🌹 buds but because of my leg strain and paresthesia...I have not been able to care about them ...many plants died...maybe because of over too much fertilizer or the kitchens soapy water ....the soil becomes rock solid with the soapy and greasy water from the kitchen dishwashing.

Before going to bed I inquired about the dinner...I thought we had the samosa so there may be no need for the dinner...

But there was a request for fish...

So I searched the nearest fish ..

And found and ordered ...the dinner is on the way ....from smchs....

20-35 minutes ...

The order was delayed a few minutes...

As the rider made two stops on the way...business is booming....for both the agriculture and Petrol industry.

A 200 rupee vat was also deducted....not sure where it goes...

But anyways I finally tried the kababjee s lacha paratha Burger 

It was okay 

Fish was also good ...

The new neighbors have illuminated for the 12th with green lights ...

And the old ones are scared as hell...while I was waiting for the FoodPanda 🐼 rider ...I saw these lights and went out to take pictures ...a sound from the door bell started to ask who is there...who is taking a video....I did not say anything...but I thought ...why they always buy cheap products ...people cheat them a lot....ours has a face recognition system ...with geo-fencing .

We never have to ask a silly question like ...who is there who is taking a video.

Anyways ...the good thing about this week was that nobody left...

Or maybe nobody left is rich enough to be notified.

So we are in the second week of August...and last week of Safar 1448 H

There was a new twist in the saga of Karachi's University road . The form 47 judge declared the cancellation of the previous contract null and void.

Just as they declared the Demolition of Nasla tower unconstitutional and illegal.

So if in the coming days ,months or years ....these constitutional court formed by the 27th constitutional amendment of the form 47 assembly....are declared unconstitutional or ultra vires ...the Nasla tower demolition decision could be ...undone.

Now did you get it Why I choose not to wear a tie for ten twenty, twenty five years regularly and die as a judge .

Despite having cloudy weather and thundering sky ...we did not have the rain at all this week. Which is very unbelievable....

My leg that developed a muscle strain after coming back from the Fridays Juma Mubarak 🕌 prayers...is a bit better...I am able to walk better...took no medicine or painkillers for it. The pain is below the belt ....all the way down to the toe...recoving toe nail could be the reason...not sure.trying to relax and eat spicy food.

Feeling cold under the fan ...no sweat . Need to get up and make tea ...the social media clips insisted that black coffee is better for kidney fat . Even with the cheapest instant coffee available....it's not easy to drink black without sugar or milk...so help me God the All Mighty Allah Amen 🙏 

Falling asleep.....8:44 am 

Okay I am checking water pump after every half hour... checked at 9:30 am 

Now it's 10 am 

...

10:30 am 

10:45 am so finally...we got lucky ...the water is coming....which means that I am free for at least an hour an a half or maybe more ... isn't that a blessing ....

So I can make breakfast or go out and bring some ....I am not sure how to treat this leg strain ....with medicine... with walk ...or just by relaxing...it only feels after I get up from bed or chair and put full pressure or try to move ...

My siblings have woke up ....and they are on messenger chat....the mobile is constantly ring tone ing....

I have not made the tea yet....and I have also not checked if the gas is coming or not 

I watched a vlog of HN promoting Desi chicken breakfast from his Karachi branch of HN foods tipu sultan 

I somehow lost my appetite...

It was available on foodpanda after 7 am 1500 per plate for delivery and 1200 per plate for pick up....this used to be the only mystery in my life before this mir Raza Halwai murder/suicide mystery....

A total 300 gap and the genZ does not notice it ....

No VAT yet....amazing...Dhaba ?

So I guess it's too late ...I should have had lunch or brunch hours ago....

6:17 pm So I had the late lunch ...cooking mafia cooked daal channa and Puri ...there was also some dhaga kabab leftover...

After the lunch I was resting and searching for the Pakistan day azadi cakes ...when suddenly somebody banged the gate loudly....I went out to check .

It was the neighbors kid asking for his ball from yesterday...he looked everywhere as if he had all the time in the world ....

While he was here I checked the door bell light...it wasn't working so I checked the energy saver ...it was okay...I placed it back and it started working again.

The paresthesia did not go away even after lifting the ladder and trimming the vine on the front wall.

Sounds of Rally coming ...I checked the social media...shahrah e quaidein is closed from both sides noorani to Allah Wala ...

Anyways ,

The paresthesia seems to have stopped but the ankle of the foot hurts ...making difficult to walk .
