The most amazing and unbelievable week this has been ....a heat wave ...with windy cool .. weather

In PSL 11 The Hyderabad kingsmen eliminate Islamabad United to reach the may 3rd Final for the first time in the history of PSL .

And The War in the Middle East between the US and Iran expired after the Sixty days War authority ended.

And this may be the nineth war President Trump's intervention stopped...

In Pakistan the petrol price crossed rupees four hundred once again ... previously it did when it was 421 two months ago when the war began.

The state bank of Pakistan increased the interest rates by one percent.

Food panda 🐼 increased the delivery and platform charges and I am too ashamed to tip the riders rupees fifty because you can't but the smallest chilled Pepsi bottle in rupees fifty in this heat .

God Save the King and Queen visited the Whitehouse at the end of 250 years leash....

They were in Bermuda finally.

The cancer from last seems to have grown weak in both father and daughter in laws of the Buckstopshere or something palace.

I haven't prayed Isha yet as I fall asleep watching Kara Sevda tonight so I have to pray both prayers now but first I pray Isha

10:05 am I noticed that price of dawn bread has increased this week from rupees 110 to rupees 130 for the small bread

And the thing is that federal budget is still a month away....

Two neighbors installed solar panels this week and the wind started blowing fast.....

I requested my elder sister cooking mafia to stop the kitchen activity...and let me sleep...but here I am not sleeping at all....

Chatting with doctor Saab about qurbani and stuff....

Ordering grocery online...

And browsing surfing net ...

Plus doing the Sunday Blog.....

Anyways the rider is on the way ...so I have to get up and get ready ....also check the water pump again as I was not satisfied with the first attempt.

10:22 am Break

11:00 am okay so I checked water pump no luck ....

Then I received the grocery.....I wish ...the taxman and lawman ...my dear papa and dearest Aslam Bhai may their souls rest in peace in Jannah Amen 🙏

Would have seen this improved online grocery shopping.....they would have never allowed me to go to the local market outside the neighborhood mosque .....daily for eggs and bread that exercise corrupted me beyond remorse. 😆

Anyways ...the back ally sweepers have returned to cut the Rangoon creeper....on the back gate....I was expecting them....today....

Sister was ordering her own groceries but I confused her...so she stopped and had a butter toast . And started watching Kara Sevda I objected...that I haven't watched the previous episode yet and she is moving ahead so she ordered lunch .....chicken biryani...and I was compelled to eat when I was trying to be cool on a burning hot May the Third ..

Lunch arrived at 12:32 pm almost after the sun Meridian at 12:28 pm

After the photo and reels

We instantly started eating it was hot ( in both Sense of the word ) and spicy....aloo Chicken biryani.

After lunch we watched the missed episodes of Kara Sevda

I did catch-up quick...

Started to feel sleepy so here I am in bed 🛏️

4:58 pm It's not as windy as yesterday .....but I am relaxing ...very little traffic ...no pollution....an estate agent is desperate trying to convince a family ...showing the Adnan malpani's ( very bad voice ) vacated portion .....the property market is very busy on our street....Saeed qatil's first floor is also vacant ...for few months...

The newly constructed 3 plus basement on the corner has been occupied by some cattle farm from gadap ...they are showcasing two very healthy cows on the kerb ...the number will probably increase after the new moon .

My siblings have already started reminding ( pressure) me about the qurbani....and I am so against the Abrahamic Accords this year....I am trying to avoid the mutton and beef as much as possible.

Even though I need yakhni for the wrist twist I had when I lifted the dead drunk stinky bird with a stick on the kerb a fortnight ago....( Wed- wed- sun) 12 days ago.feels like black or dirty magic

The most unbelievable Saturday Night live....left home with Karachi kings in the fourth position after their tenth match. And returned with Lahore Qalanders kicking them out and taking the Fourth position after their tenth match of the PSL 11

Not sure about this but I learned about the Trump's decision of aborting the peace mission to Islamabad after coming back home. And that the Iranian left Islamabad.

I would love to continue...but it has been a long night...and I am very sleepy and sweaty...also overfed with degi qorma and biryani zarda ....and there is very little time left to sleep and wake up for fajr 🛐

First I thought of going out to check where it is coming from ....but then I heard the neighbors talking ..." I am trying to call but nobody is picking...the smell is just too much ..."

Somehow this taraqiyati kaam is totally target ing 🎯 them and them alone....their water pipe is broken and now the gas line ...

Anyways ...

I hear the sound of Kara Sevda playing in the living room...

Yesterday doctor Saab brought a skin cream for diabetic foot care to prevent ulcers.when infect I needed a mouth ulcer remedy as Colgate toothpaste not working ....I mentioned it to my dear elder sister and she remembered that I recently brought the glecerin...for her...

While look for the small bottle ...she emptied a bag ..and I found an old USB with OTG .....it was not C type...so I checked it on an old mobile ...the USB did not show anything....so I used my old USB...and I was so delighted to find some very old songs in my old USB ..I immediately copied all the songs in the old mobile ...it is always fun and relaxation to hear these songs....so now I am very relaxed and falling asleep...

Moon sighted so today is the first of the eleventh month of the Islamic lunar month of Ziqad in the year 1447 after hijra.

Only one month and nine days left before Eid ul Azha or Bakra Eid .

Last year the makeshift cattle mandi crashed . There were no buyers at all even at the unbelievable low prices. The economic times are even worse then the last year . The export to Dubai is almost at a stand still.petrol and diesel is at its highest. Transport is expansive and law and order is out of control.

The decoits and extortionist of Mohenjo-Daro and Debal have a free hand .

To raise awareness somebody has set up a cow mandi at the famous expo center of Karachi on university road where some local cattle farms are displaying not sure if people are taking it seriously. But the traffic ⛔ woes of the already depleted University Road has wosen according to media and social media reports because of this Cow mandi expo.

7:22 am Good Morning 🌹 🌹 again

All night last night till I fall asleep....the development work continued....infact it has been going on all week ....first they cut the top layer of the road with a diesel cutter ...then they used a bulldozer to remove the top layer of the asphalt and rocks...it was built many years ago ...and was so hard and thick that it took them days to remove with the bulldozer....also in doing this they broke the water connections pipes...of many neighbors....these pipes were broken few months ago when they were digging the road for development work....now they are broken again ....so as soon as the road work is finished....these neighbors will again have to cut the road and fix the water connections pipes.....

God Bless...

Okay I have to get up now and check the water pump....

Yes we have water .....but no gas in the stove...I was making breakfast with boiled eggs and chickpea soup 🍲...but I can't boil the eggs....I don't think these eggs could withstand the rapid boil of the electric kettle....

So the breakfast is cancelled...

On Friday we had no gas and no electricity....so I went to the market and brought samosa for breakfast....

Today I was thinking of fasting...

Now if we missed the first show 6 am to 9 am

Then who knows ...we Mighty also miss the 1-3 pm

Let me check online if there is a shutdown notice.

I got distracted but still could not find the latest shutdown notice by the gas company...

Anyways it's time to check the water pumps again....and the tea from last night in the flask.

The neighborhood is extremely quiet .....

I after getting up and praying ...

I realized that there was more than an hour before the Asr Azan...so as there was no stove gas...to make tea or cook anything ....one option was to come back to bed 🛏️ and watch the interesting reels and the other option was to watch the Turkish drama series Kara Sevda....then I remember that I bought oranges to have the fresh orange juice....without wasting a minute I collected all the things I need and setup the juice stand in the lawn and

extracted the orange juice from the oranges and kino orange I bought earlier this morning....

The kino orange is now in end of the season....very small. From the dozen kino orange I got half the bottle of nestle fruita vitals...about half a liter.

The color of both oranges are world apart ....the coin orange mosambi orange has the yellowish color but the kino orange juice has that tang orange color...looks really good in the reels and pictures .

Usually I use the hand juicer to get the juice but today I used the automatic chargeable juicer my dear elder sister ordered online last year ...

When it was delivered it's body was damaged...but it works alright.

Anyways ...

It's getting late ...I better get up and pray Asr Prayer 🛐

Watched two episodes of Kara Sevda

This series is so much better than any Turkish drama series we watched this year....

The neighborhood has never been this quiet in this season ever before ...sounds like a very cold winter night ....the three floors on my right are unbelievably quiet today ...no sound of the shouting kid and his Australian cousins....under the hot tin roof....

The middle floor family rarely makes a sound ...the whole family wears glasses...they have weak eyes and sharp ears.

And the ground floor kids have not thrown the balls since Thursday night...their chaddi daddy's shave turned grey and the grandfather on the motorbike grow weak and slow....the whole family went somewhere this evening....

In two cars....they can't go too far because they don't have the new number plates....these are open letter vehicles ...a kind of instant cash investment...for emergencies...but now you know ...petrol and EV is making their life unsimple.

The extra petroling in my neighborhood by builder mafia has completely stopped.one of the main reasons for the silence and calm.

Phophi Jan called on the phone on Wednesday afternoon. I asked her about carol she had no idea ...Chachi Jan has dementia so there is no chance of a head count chaapa ....anytime soon.....coming Eid....or like Ever .

Woke up after 3:30 am with a very sticky eye lids and a very blurry vision. Fortunately the nose and throat are clear and every muscle below the belt is stress free . especially the gluteus medius or rectus abdominis on the left side around kidney.

Went to wake up my dear elder sister and she was already up praying
So I had a cup of tea and returned to bed 🛏️
There is still two minutes to sunrise 6:13 am

Haven't seen the sky but it sounds like a very quiet and calm Sunday morning...the neighbors Rooster🐔 crowing cock-a-doodle-doo...smaller bird on trees are also chirping...other than that no sound of traffic yet....
Surprisingly no sound of the street guards talking ...

I have to get up and make tea soon ..there is about an hour or more before the water comes....I will probably get up to to check the water pump...my life cannot get anymore funnier than this ....I collect water in the underground water tank first ....and then pump it up to the overhead water tank ...both are old and have leaks... can't hold the water for long ...but the leak in rooftop overhead tank is very recent and probably because of the continuous renovations the strangers living upstairs have done recently ...
I may have not found out about this leaking water from the overhead water tank if the Gas company plumber had come for the gas meter and connection to the newly installed gas plastic line for which they have dug up the whole city .
I don't feel safe in this environment no more.
But there is no place like home where I can move,shift or ran away. For some unknown reason the builder mafia has also given up on me. I am sure they believe that with the unhealthy eating I may develop fatal diseases very soon inshallah.
Talking of unhealthy eating....our mosque fryer daddo jee halwaee increased the price of Samosa...now I will have to do the maths again....
The price of petrol and diesel increase and levy imposed and removed have caused a major change in the prices of cammodities and services.
So far the FoodPanda 🐼 delivery riders are not frawning on not getting tip .
The price of egg is going down because it's the end of season...so you can't judge anything with it....but the price of Nihari and Naan at Zahid Restaurant has increased. The price of Biryani has also increased at Allah Wala.
Rumor is that State bank of America...sorry The State bank is also thinking of increasing the interest rates to combat the inflation.

Cheap mobile data bundle and packages are being discontinued and replaced with expensive packages.

Bralets are being replaced by longer shirts with shorter shorts ....sorry too much reels..has nothing to do with the oily Samosa...

Okay it's time for the Breakfast and checking the water pump...
I'll take a break here....

10:16 am No idea what happened I checked water pump the water was coming good...I came back made tea
Had a bag of lays chips and back to bed after an hour I went to check water pump again and it seem that water had stopped coming ages ago...so I pumped up whatever was collected in the underground tank....

Now its almost 10:30 am so I will have to check water pump again ...hopefully this time I will have the breakfast or Sunday brunch ....

The Good News is that Americans Air force Two has left Islamabad....Somehow we survived and also get to see a green camel toe before Eid.

Then had naan qeema with boiled egg....for supper

Watched few episodes of yarali kuslar in fast forward...just to find out when and if the father finds the true identity of efy ..but it seems that melis sahiba the wild card entry remains till the end....
Anyways the sad news of the death of my All time favorite playback singer shocked me....and I felt really depressed and irritated...I shared the sad news with my dear elder sister and she asked Who was she...?

You can imagine the cultural and Generation gap between us.

Anyways ...I had a very uneasy sleep tonight despite the over eating ...

Before I end this my the Sunday Blog № 523 ( five hundred and twenty three) I want to share the points table of the PSL sorry HBLPSL 11 where ice cream gets real by Hico not available in my neighborhood....
Karachi kings who were at the top before Easter Sunday...are now down to fourth place and pindiz are All Out ...with no win but the most unbelievable thing is that Lahore Qalanders are below Hyderabad kingsmen. well-done buddies.

And a happy Easter

It has been a very rainy week.

The rain in Karachi as you all may know is fast and furious...

And Karachi is now so vast and big that most of the time one area has rain and thunderstorm

While others have a clear sunny weather....one area or some areas have flooded roads while others just wondering 🤔

Anyways I had lots of fun this holy week.

Two of my dear siblings have birthdays in the first week of April.

( March 1, Feb 2, Jan 3 , Dec 4, Nov 5, Oct 6, Sep 7, Aug 8,July 9.)

My 30+10 days of fasting ended this week so I was free with a 10 % discount on Doctor Saab's Happy Birthday....we took a yango ride hoping to be greeted with a happy birthday cake ...but reaching there we were surprised to see that they were having paint job and maintenance.... because everybody is out and busy in the morning...they hired the labour in the afternoon...evening shift.

Satisfied that they were having fun we left before the labour arrived.

Also because we did not want to be stuck in the rush hour traffic....we did find two bottlenecks but still it was a smooth ride back home not a jam.

Despite the rain and hailstorm in upper north of Pakistan ...Karachi kings is doing great in the PSL sorry...HBLPSL 11 . So far...let's hope it continues this winning streak..... don't ask who has replaced the bottoms....of the table...

It is a very beautiful and calm Easter Sunday morning ... yesterday was a Public Holiday..... Bhutto saein birthday....so today is the second consecutive holiday...usually the second holiday is very quiet and relaxed.....

The govt of Pakistan has come up with a very unique way of discouraging the theft of motor cycles.....they have increased the price of petrol to around 460 rupees per liter and offered a 100 rupees subsidy....for motorcycle owners for a maximum of 20 liters per month.

Amazing isn't it ?

What is more amazing is that ...you don't get this 100 rupees discount on the Petro stations...you will buy the petrol at the normal price of the day....( Around 380 rupees today) And get the 2000 rupees Cashback via a nadra linked govt app .

Awesome....

The super rich provinces of the ruling parties are trying to cash in...on this scheme...by offering ....let's see what happens when the fuel crisis ends....

Cnic and registration plus ownership details are a must....so if you don't get the 2000 rupees...this can be translated to that the motorbike is stolen....

Iran claims to have shot down a US f15 fighter jet on the stealth mission in Iran and captured one of the ejected injured pilots...but failed to stop an open televised worldwide search and rescue ....operation.

Not Sure which game are they promoting.....

The neighborhood is unbelievably quiet ....the penthouse kids under the hot tin roof had the shouting clamouring party late last night...they must have to go somewhere else this afternoon....or they are too tired to get up...because it's a pin drop silence from there..

I just realized that I have already prayed before sleeping...so there is no point in waking up so early ...but the battery of the mobile just sounded alarm...so I have to plug it it ....and for that I have to get up and perhaps get a cup of tea .....

Aah ha.

7:32 pm NASA has send a mission Artemis 2 to moon just to test the toilets....a ten day mission that spins around the earth and moon and hopefully sink in The Atlantic ocean.

Let's hope it has a better success rate than the Epic fury.

I bid farewell to winter couple of times ...but this week once again I feel cold ...the water was cold ...I was not sweating after hot and spicy meals...

At first before the rain ...I thought I am catching cold viral or mosquito bites....but after the rain ..and especially getting soaked in rain ...I knew I am okay . It's not just me ...it's the wind that's cold and chilling....

After the end of dasht e Dil

Dasht e Dil was a mistake right from the start....but some how I survived the 100 episodes....If you ask me ..I skipped a lot...

Anyways.....

Kral kaybederse or Urdu1 TV's ashiq mizaj is still going strong...and this week it took a giant leap of ten years...removed the unnecessary characters and bring back the focus on the main story infidelity.
