It is unfortunate that despite all my efforts night and day ...we have a water shortage due to major supply line burst and repairs by the water corporation and loadsheddings by Karachi Electric ( KE)
This means that despite the hot weather I cannot relax or visit Doctor Saab to check his condition.
I hope he does not mind .
Okay, the Good News is that the United States State Department or The Whitehouse in DC or none of the Above....has extended the tenure of the GG ..sorry the Ambassador to Islamabad Vacant position for indefinite period .

Checked water pump again...the pressure had build up ....so I resume the Sunday Blog....
Now I go again to check
It's Sunday so The gas resumes around 8 am ...
Not yet sure about the breakfast . Last night I skipped the dinner and supper...
Had lays and tea instead...
The Octagon tin of Quality Street is almost empty now....
Keeping it in the refrigerator was a bad decision....but our weather these days is worse than June...
Anyways I have to get up and go check the water pump...
6:47 am Break !
7:08 am okay I am sweating...the water I pumped up was not much but if the cooking mafia don't cook and the family upstairs don't have American guests....it might be enough for today....at least till Maghrib...and we may have water again at the regular 10:30 - noon time ....that should be cool...
I rejected the breakfast offer and came back to bed ...I want to try to sleep an hour or two till the neighborhood wakes up.

1:11 pm So when I got up the cooking mafia was very excited...she had ordered nihari with simple naan ...and she was getting ready to order doodh wali naan and maghaz nihari from the other ....but in excitement she was telling me both in a way that I got scared ...why the hell has she ordered twice as much ...I was still sleepy and trying to ...so I tried to calm down myself....and went to unlock the gate ...the rider was already at the neighbors gate...their guard saw me and directed the rider towards me ...I came back inside to inform...it was only after collecting the food ...she told me that the other is still in the cart not confirmed ...I got relaxed ....and started taking pictures. And convinced her that this is more than enough for today .....
Believe it or not I am trying to control my B12 .
No it's not that ... don't be ridiculous...
Doctor Saab who prescribed and even parcel me the paid samples of metformin two years ago ....only remember to warn me of the Vitamin B12 deficiency caused by metformin after his operation. I have been suffering from all the contraindications of B12 deficiency symptoms for over two months...numbness , imbalance, blurry vision... forgetfulness etc..
Anyways ....
The beef in nihari was too hard ...so nobody touched it ...the cooking mafia instantly decided that it will be used in the haleem...and after the brunch she started cooking haleem... separately the ingredients are all cooked ...now left the blending and mixing...grove and mix...
Soon we will be having a rapid fire Haleem.....
The weather is so unbelievably hot outside that instead of a second helping of the nihari ..I had the half of the first....
And after four hours of hard labor...in the direct sun ...I feel hungry....sugar low....

Despite all my efforts..I over eat ....the only problem was that there was no salt in the haleem....I remember that when we order haleem from A wala biryani...it comes with small packets of masala...we usually save them ...in a small plastic bottle. Well....
After eating I had bath and prayed Zuhr Prayer 🛐

Crispy from outside and soft from inside sounds familiar...tout comme un croissant 🥐
Since I had too much haleem for lunch ...I wanted something like a BBQ...luckily I had some leftovers...
So now I am trying to dry up ...

The mosquitoes this week are really amazing....all summer there were none while the fan was on ...and now it seems like they really don't care ....how is that even possible...I don't understand....and the best part is ...I sprayed mortein flying spray and yet ...they are ... unbelievable. I have already killed a coule poking my arm. Very impressive...indeed !
