What an amazing historical week this has been ....but first ...yes I survived .the last Budh of Safar ..., the Solar eclipse and the Moon not sighted.

The world witnessed Two major earthquakes...in Columbia and indonesia.very horrific scenes . Dear merciful Lord All Mighty Allah Amen 🙏

6:15 am Fall asleep doing the Sunday Blog....woke up after 5:30 am hurriedly got up and woke up my dear sister and then I prayed the Fajr Prayer 🛐

with a prayer for my dearly departed parents Papa and Ammi and the Recently Departed Aslam Bhai

May the dear merciful Lord All Mighty Allah have mercy on my dearly departed parents Papa and Ammi and may they be blessed by the dear merciful Lord All Mighty Allah and Their Souls may rest in peace in heaven. Amen !

Back in bed and doing the Sunday Blog....also checking the social media....

The most interesting news this morning is that there is a Crude oil leakage on khayaban e Seher street 13 DHA Karachi

Another news is that DHA 8 is now a gated community....it is not clear if the Emaar crescent bay will be part of it or not and what will happen with do Dariya food street.i will probably update in the coming blogs when I am hundred percent sure or personally denied entry.

The sound of boring for water has stopped...from the corner of the back alley and the tripod has moved to the front street three houses down the lane.

The neighbors with the ducks....ordered tanker water not sure why.

The water mafia has probably changed the Sunday time for opening the supply from 7:30 am to 10:30 am .but I have to check at both times just in case...

So it's time I have to get up from the bed and go check the water pump.....

8:02 am No luck ...no water coming...

It did not rain all week ...but it was windy and cloudy most of the week .if my leg was not hurting so bad ...I would have enjoyed the long walk ...but here I only went to the mosque once for Juma Mubarak 🕌

And walked a little extra for the Azadi Baja ( horn) ...bought two from outside the gas ⛽ station .

So I had fruits instead of halwa Puri breakfast....

I also have some leftovers from last night...it was too spicy ...

I ordered half chargha from newly opened chargha town....and they send me two qtrs ...if I wanted two qtrs I would have ordered two qtrs....

Thank God the All Mighty Allah Amen 🙏...

I did not ordered a full grilled chargha or they would have sent me 4 qtrs ....jahil qom...

Anyways it was so spicy that I was not able to eat it even with my plain rice....will try again with the leftovers...and I am done now I won't be ordering from this restaurant.

Weather is very cloudy but no drizzle...only the split AC of the panthouse next door is dripping very fast ...as if a tap or pipe leak ....they recently install the solar panels...I believe you got the drift.

Finally the rose plants have started to give 🌹 buds but because of my leg strain and paresthesia...I have not been able to care about them ...many plants died...maybe because of over too much fertilizer or the kitchens soapy water ....the soil becomes rock solid with the soapy and greasy water from the kitchen dishwashing.

Before going to bed I inquired about the dinner...I thought we had the samosa so there may be no need for the dinner...

But there was a request for fish...

So I searched the nearest fish ..

And found and ordered ...the dinner is on the way ....from smchs....

20-35 minutes ...

The order was delayed a few minutes...

As the rider made two stops on the way...business is booming....for both the agriculture and Petrol industry.

A 200 rupee vat was also deducted....not sure where it goes...

But anyways I finally tried the kababjee s lacha paratha Burger

It was okay

Fish was also good ...

The new neighbors have illuminated for the 12th with green lights ...

And the old ones are scared as hell...while I was waiting for the FoodPanda 🐼 rider ...I saw these lights and went out to take pictures ...a sound from the door bell started to ask who is there...who is taking a video....I did not say anything...but I thought ...why they always buy cheap products ...people cheat them a lot....ours has a face recognition system ...with geo-fencing .

We never have to ask a silly question like ...who is there who is taking a video.

Anyways ...the good thing about this week was that nobody left...

Or maybe nobody left is rich enough to be notified.

Mir Raza Halwai case is still a mystery...nobody taking responsibility...his partner in wafflix took a bail before arrest.

Jibran seemed shocked or disappointed...not sure.

Trump's escape in a catering box remained the top of the pops in memes.

The holy month of RabiulAwwal begins with the happy birthday of my dear elder sister ....now we have started a new practice ...of doing sadqa goat .

I did a goat sadqa on my birthday also ...

The size of the goat is shrinking ... everytime.

The first one was running ...second had to be pulled and now this one was carried by the driver of chippa .

The voice was very similar to the azadi Baja ( horn)

So we are in the second week of August...and last week of Safar 1448 H

Since now we the dug out underdogs are in the same league with the Rich and Famous Islamic countries....we better remember the Islamic lunar dates and we may have them same .

More pressure for Mr Azad of the moon sighting company of Lahore.

The updates about the drowned submerged Lahore were very much subdued by the Murder Mystery of Karachi ' s Mir Raza Halwai ....

RIP.

There was a new twist in the saga of Karachi's University road . The form 47 judge declared the cancellation of the previous contract null and void.

Just as they declared the Demolition of Nasla tower unconstitutional and illegal.

So if in the coming days ,months or years ....these constitutional court formed by the 27th constitutional amendment of the form 47 assembly....are declared unconstitutional or ultra vires ...the Nasla tower demolition decision could be ...undone.

Now did you get it Why I choose not to wear a tie for ten twenty, twenty five years regularly and die as a judge .

Despite having cloudy weather and thundering sky ...we did not have the rain at all this week. Which is very unbelievable....

The people of Karachi despite a very hot and humid weather..are considering the No rain as a blessing...they dread nothing more than a cloud burst this year....

Let's see how this monsoon season ends.

It's time to get up and check the water pump. We have no water yesterday so it's very essential that we have water today.

My leg that developed a muscle strain after coming back from the Fridays Juma Mubarak 🕌 prayers...is a bit better...I am able to walk better...took no medicine or painkillers for it. The pain is below the belt ....all the way down to the toe...recoving toe nail could be the reason...not sure.trying to relax and eat spicy food.

Feeling cold under the fan ...no sweat . Need to get up and make tea ...the social media clips insisted that black coffee is better for kidney fat . Even with the cheapest instant coffee available....it's not easy to drink black without sugar or milk...so help me God the All Mighty Allah Amen 🙏

Okay I am checking water pump after every half hour... checked at 9:30 am

Now it's 10 am

...

10:30 am

10:45 am so finally...we got lucky ...the water is coming....which means that I am free for at least an hour an a half or maybe more ... isn't that a blessing ....

So I can make breakfast or go out and bring some ....I am not sure how to treat this leg strain ....with medicine... with walk ...or just by relaxing...it only feels after I get up from bed or chair and put full pressure or try to move ...

My siblings have woke up ....and they are on messenger chat....the mobile is constantly ring tone ing....

I have not made the tea yet....and I have also not checked if the gas is coming or not

I watched a vlog of HN promoting Desi chicken breakfast from his Karachi branch of HN foods tipu sultan

I somehow lost my appetite...

It was available on foodpanda after 7 am 1500 per plate for delivery and 1200 per plate for pick up....this used to be the only mystery in my life before this mir Raza Halwai murder/suicide mystery....

A total 300 gap and the genZ does not notice it ....

No VAT yet....amazing...Dhaba ?

Okay my free time is coming to an end ... already....

Got to get up and feel the pain and the limp and strain....

6:17 pm So I had the late lunch ...cooking mafia cooked daal channa and Puri ...there was also some dhaga kabab leftover...

After the lunch I was resting and searching for the Pakistan day azadi cakes ...when suddenly somebody banged the gate loudly....I went out to check .

It was the neighbors kid asking for his ball from yesterday...he looked everywhere as if he had all the time in the world ....

While he was here I checked the door bell light...it wasn't working so I checked the energy saver ...it was okay...I placed it back and it started working again.

The paresthesia did not go away even after lifting the ladder and trimming the vine on the front wall.

Sounds of Rally coming ...I checked the social media...shahrah e quaidein is closed from both sides noorani to Allah Wala ...

Fall asleep early tonight after eating double dinner and junk food snacks . There is a new Chicken Biryani outlet opened recently on Tariq road ...I ordered their oily and spicy Biryani yesterday....I love the oily Biryani since childhood....very very nostalgic .

Woke up at 4:11 am despite all the thick black clouds and thunder at a distance...all afternoon....and little drizzle....it did not rain here . There were reports of rain in the outskirts....Gadap area...

I waited and browsed the LinkedIn for any updates...then at 4:45 am I got up to pray Fajr

For the two consecutive Sundays ...what is happening is that water comes at the regular time ....a little slow a little less ...I finish the drill...come to bed ....then a message comes to check the water pump again ....I curse the sender from the bottom of my heart and relax and fall asleep...or watch a digital drama and forget about it.

Need to get up and make tea or i will fall asleep....

9:07 am it was good that I got up because the water had stopped coming already when I saw....so I pumped up whatever small quantity that was collected in the tank ....it was less than one thirds of the usual ...

There was a smell of gas in the air ....probably ....

Few drops of rain ...it's getting darker by the hour..... skipped breakfast plans and decided that if it rained I will fry the fritters ( pakora) myself today

Sunday rain special....if we had the gas ...or we'll wait ....thank God the All Mighty Allah Amen 🙏

That we have all the ingredients.... chickpeas flour,

Onion , salt , pepper, red chilli powder , green chillies, dalda cooking oil , dalda ghee , and the political will ....that the system has COLLAPSED. Now we are on our own .

For few days I am having a craving for Nutella croissant...the sunridge usually have the best Nutella croissant in the empire but they shutdown ....times are not good for dessert industry ...

Mir Raza of wafflix was murdered this week his body was found at a roadside in gulistan e johar...he was a resident of PECHS 2

He was a young entrepreneur and had two waffle bars in the city .

11:08 am I heard the kitchen activity so I got up to check...also I wanted talk to someone about the The smell of gas and also check the water pump ....

The cooking mafia confirmed that there is a smell of gas in the air ....

But just now I was so relieved to know that the whole city is smelling the beans today some since 5 am ...I only felt it around 8 am ....

People are complaining about it from as far as china port Clifton....so there is absolutely no escape.

The gas pressure seems to be very normal...some saying it is better today.

I woke up after 4 am ....The cooking mafia was very excited she had ordered groceries from Panda 🐼 mart and was unboxing....

She wanted to make a cake ...but since there was no gas ...she waited....but when gas returned atfter 6:30 pm

She had already made up her mind to make an egg pudding instead of cake ...

In the mean time I ordered naan bread and fries ...to go with the leg roast ....yes you heard it right...This Friday morning before Juma Mubarak 🕌

We decide to clean and defrost our refrigerator....where we discovered two mutton front legs ... absolutely frozen...

When they started to defrost...I made cuts at joints to make them fit in the cooker and box ...after marination...they were frozen again ....

Today she cooked both at the same time ....

So while most of Karachi was shocked and scared of the gas leakage we were smelling roast .

I ordered the food at 5:52 pm

And it arrived 6:22 pm usually it takes an hour when you order directly from the restaurant...

So I had taftan and chicken qorma and some fries ...

I wanted to calm myself to go along with whatever The cooking mafia was doing ...as it was too late to make her abort the mission.

Fall asleep on a wet and windy night ..at midnight

I thought I did not have enough at dinner but the way I sleep and missed the fajr 🛐 prayer

I now feel that my blood sugar was high...

Vision also blurry with too much dry mucus on the eyelids ...

The weather has changed this week ....we had the first monsoon rain this week with all the standard toppings...the thunder and lightning ...high winds.

It did not rain much ...in our area but in other towns they were reporting rain for hours and nobody believe them.

And even though we are not having as much rain as last year But Karachi is suffering more then last year ....The money they took from Karachi to beautify Lahore and Punjab is all gone in the drain due to heavy continuous rain and urban flooding unfortunately this is not the flood that can be blamed on India for opening the gates and spill ways of Ravi.

Funny thing is that while people of Lahore are swimming most rivers are still dry because of diversions and corporate farming canals .

So the point is that since the people of Karachi paid for all the beautification of Lahore they will have to work even harder in the coming year....to rebuild Lahore and cut the weeds .

A Saudi prince was found dead in a UK hotel room for overdose and alcohol abuse...

Trump was mad he still reads the British tabloids....

So he put a condition on the US - Saudi Nuclear deal that they accept the krushners Abraham Accord .

I believe this useless accord was already broken when US - Israel initiated a joint military action in the region undermining the safety and security of the signing States especially The UAE and Qatar.

Well you may be aware of the cockroach Janta party ....this week this accidental genz party went to the next level of party going....all thanks to the Dehli Police.They used force against the suicidal youths....

They party all night for couple of days outside the Parliament and forced the activist Sonam wangchuk a self proclaimed leader to end the 26 day hunger strike against the NEET paper leaks ....the national level entrance test .

The activist Sonam wangchuk an engineer and teacher from Ladakh....went on a hunger strike to request the union education minister to take full responsibility of the leaks and resign.

After 20 days the Dehli high Court ordered the govt to inquire how this man survived a hunger strike for so long ....the police forcibly took him to a hospital where he argued with police and doctors and showed no sign of weakness .

In the mean time the real slim shady CJP chief took over the limelight and tried to walk towards the Parliament about 1.9 km away from the historical site jantar mantar ...an astronomical observatory.

Dehli police used force against the cockroaches ....and mutilated a few ....this caused the internet overdrive and forced the cockroaches to order takeaway from all over dehli . watching their kids on state sponsored godi media eating ...the parents panicked and started bringing home cooked food ....in bulk . Teasing and tempting the Dehli police . And so they somehow convinced the Education minister to resign ......

10:40 pm So it has been a very slow evening.....watched the weekend Turkish drama Dhoka company...Ulan Istanbul...from Urdu1 tv 's YouTube channel....flash fiber is still slow ....they are not repairing themselves and I am absolutely not in the mood of complaining and inviting them.

While watching I feel drowsy so I came to bed and watched reels ... suddenly I remembered

That I have not taken the diabetes tablet....but I was not sure and it was three hours after eating those beef burgers without cheese so I ordered Rabri ice cream...and hot gulab jamun

The street is blocked by the muharram majlis ...yes some sleepy head have woken up as the 20th Safar nears....so anyways this super smart rider

Parked his bike on the other side of the tent and walked all the way with my melting Special delivery....

Risking his mobile in the hand crossing about 50 hungry men in black ...

This was another first....

Okay time is up ....there were so many things to discuss today ....But I preferred eating and sleeping over that....maybe next week.

The weather this week remained cloudy and windy , hot and humid . The nearest to the rain was on Friday morning . About an hour of drizzle. I almost reached out for the fritters ingredients.

The neighborhood is very quiet and calm except for few useless street vendors and the demolition squad of builders mafia getting another corner vacant for decades plot.The ghous Saab ...yes the father of Mrs pasha the Punjab finance minister. They had a peacock and java plum Jamun tree whose branches fall on electric wires and cause power disruption every summer.

This week I have overfed a couple of times and fallen asleep just like food coma...I will definitely miss the Fifa world cup final from new Jersey...new York or whatever....but if I did not have a food coma ...I will keep checking updates ....and score.....I am sure Spain will give Trump a hard time....even if they cheated.....the festive mood in US ...clearly shows that they really don't care about the dying soldiers in the middle east.
