The Tenth of December here in Karachi is usually not very cold as you can see it's 19°C outside ....not very windy ....the lowest will be 16-14°C and the highest will be 26-28°C
Besides the temperature difference in day and night ...The eating habits such as eating Very heavy and spicy food keeps the body hot and sweating almost all day .
That's why majority of locals and a great number of the settlers from upcountry looks so pale and wourn out
Sometimes it's very hard to distinguish until they speak .
For me , the 10th of December , was significant for two things ....
1. The Human Rights day ,
2. It was my dearly departed Papa's Birthday .
May his Soul Rest in peace Amen 🙏
There seems to be no point in celebrating the day anymore especially because his death anniversary day is just four days later on the fourteenth of December. And we usually have a fateha on that day.

Yesterday in the very same United Nations security council ....the United States (USA) one of the co- owners of the factory and partner in crime ... vetoed a resolution demanding the permanent cease fire in Gaza .

So you can see 🙈 there is no point .
So I believe I better sleep now and try to wake up for fajr and sehri .
4:00 am Restless not sure why ....nose is very dry ....body was burning a little while ago .,now it feels cold .
No idea how to do the sehri ...I think I should sleep and forget about everything
Astronomical twilight is 5:44 am
6:15 am Woke up at 5:25 am .
Checked the gas (Not Petrol ) the night curfew was not over it wasn't till I last checked at 5:40 am
So ...I had this for sehri

Prayed Fajr 🛐 prayer with a prayer for my dearly departed parents papa and Ammi and the Recently Departed Aslam Bhai
May the dear merciful Lord All Mighty Allah have mercy on my dearly departed parents Papa and Ammi and may they be blessed by the dear merciful Lord All Mighty Allah and Their Souls may rest in peace in heaven. Amen!

When I checked the gas ( Not Petrol ⛽) after the prayer it was restored so i did the routine drill ...heating water , tea ☕ and frying 🍳🥚 egg
Now I am back in my bed sweating ...I guess I should take off the beanie at least if not the cardigan....
Better I turned on the fan ....so after five minutes or so ....the sweating stops and the chilling starts ....fan off
Today is my fast № 93 of the year 2023 .
Fast № 92 was on October 5th the 18th RabiulAwwal...fasted full 20 days in a row
Probably stopped due to some health issues ...
Okay then I need to sleep for a lifetime ....

12:08 pm So the loudspeaker 📢 pawn broker is back ....the tile saw is also running ....and there are a few more metal hitting sounds ..... occasional street vendors like welding ....plants and fruits .... haven't heard the vegetable guy...
I thought I heard the garbage disposal banging the gate ...a little while ...ago ...not the usual time or the day ....Sunday is off ..it must be compensatory for yesterday off.
Anyways I was not ready for it ....I need to get away on Sundays .....there must be some place quieter and calm then this Home .....it's too small for me ...there is no privacy here .....imagine if I can numerate so many sounds from my bed on a Sunday noon ....how many sound there would on the weekdays and peak traffic hours.

Not even getting the Sunday off from water pump duty ....gutters overflowing because of uninvited guests of the residents.....guests that lives for months and disturbs everything .....your life and your relations ...your friendships ....and when it's your turn to go and live with them ....you know what happens.....my dearly departed uncle used to say .....Amrika main teen (3) din sey ziyada koi nahein rakhta.,... especially the uninvited .... property value decreases neighbors complains ....security agencies demand extra money.....Thank God we are not in America....Never Have Never Will ...
12:31 pm Break !
1:35 pm The Cooking mafia was chatting with online messenger friends and giving me tension about open invites a international Chaapas ....so to divert and distract my attention and have a very relaxed Sunday afternoon of the holiday season ....I checked the water pump and hurriedly went to the market especially to the beef shop and brought some mince beef and meat to cook ....hoping that she will keep busy all day till the gas (Not Petrol ⛽) Night Curfew 10:30 pm - 6:00 am ...how many hours are there ....I guess ( Not.....) 6+1+½ = 7½ hours
And how long is my fast today .... 5:44 am -
5:44 pm Wow 😳 so exact 12 hours
Okay time to check the water pump again
And have a hot bath ...and pray 🛐 with a prayer for my dearly departed parents papa and Ammi and the Recently Departed Aslam Bhai

3:38 pm As I finished the prayers and opened the door ...very awesome smell of cooking touched my clogged nostrils.....for a moment I thought I have arrived .....and then I suddenly realized that I am fasting ....I should not try to take the aanaand of this .
Neighbors on the right ground floor usually are woken up by the top floor and their guests .....today it's vice versa .....the ground floor did a mini majlis and woke up the top floor ....guest kids ....they are shouting and running.....the neighbors on the back side have probably all died ....their kids are cleaning up the mess ....a tree is being cut down to find the gas ( Not Petrol ⛽) line behind it ....the rest of the neighborhood is very calm and quiet . Must be preparing for the night events parties weddings etc ....it is the season.
As expected the cooking mafia got distracted and started cooking something else that what was the original plan ....
She will test her cooking skills which have now been totally corrupted by the YouTube cooking experts .....
01:45:00 left to iftari ...
I will probably break this fast with tea and biscuits and dates if cooked food is not ready by sunset and Maghrib Azan....
Almost fall asleep....so I will try to sleep for half an hour and then get up and pray 🛐 with a prayer for my dearly departed parents papa and Ammi and the Recently Departed Aslam Bhai

11:18 pm Okay So I watched two hum tv drama shows back to back 8-9 and 9 - 10 pm Had tea ☕ and boiled egg 🥚 for Sehri before the gas ( Not Petrol ⛽) Night Curfew. Then I had a hot bath and Prayed 🛐 with a prayer for my dearly departed parents papa and Ammi and the Recently Departed Aslam Bhai

Also prayed for my dear cousin and childhood friend Noman it was his Chehlum fateha today in his home town near kotri / Hyderabad.
May his Soul Rest in Peace in Jannah Amen 🙏
Okay it is almost midnight but since I am fasting this week so maybe I will continue this my the Sunday Blog № 401 ( Four Hundred and One ) till the Sehri.
