So why do we write Fourteen with a U and Forty without a U ?
Anyways , First the Ramzan update , Yes now we are in the last leg of the Holy Month of Ramzan Twenty Four roza or fast have been observed religiously . So this evening after the twenty fourth iftar and maghrib prayer i went to the mosque for isha and taravee . Where the qari saab recited or read the 28th para 29th half of the holy Quran . So now there are only one and half para left so there will be two more nights of taravee prayer that is today after isha and tomorrow on Monday evening or night . On Monday will be the Khatam ay Quran it will also be the 27th night of the Ramzan .
So in few days the ramzan will be gone which means that this is the Last Sunday Blog in Ramzan the next one will be on the third day of Eid Subject to the sighting of the moon on Thursday evening . Science VS Sight . The new moon will be about 19 to 20 hours old at sunset on Thursday and should be easily sighted unless there is a cloudy or hazy sky all over the region then it will be very difficult . Honestly i have rarely sighted a summer new moon here in Karachi especially in the monsoon season . A month ago for the sighting of the ramzan moon i went to the mosque for maghrib prayer but on my way i looked up at the sky and was so surprised to see a very hazy sky there was absolutely no chance of sighting a moon here in jamshed town . Anyways the committee got witness from other parts or the country and it declared . The media and social media instead of helping and aiding tries to create confusion and distrust . Most Pakistanis don't take it seriously they think that its the government or committee's job But they do listen to the announcement very Anxiously for both the ramzan and eid month only because it affects their routines and the next day. Ruet-e-Hilal committee sits every month on the 29th of the islamic lunar month and does the same exercise and announce the sighting or not sighting of the new moon. very few channels break that news or run a ticker and even fewer people on the social media reacts for most of the months .
And talking about reaction today when i was going for the Isha / taravee prayer , i saw a neighbour talking to a guy about her roadside kerb garden holding a mug in her hand . I did not have even a minute to give my two cents at that time as i am in a rush to get to the mosque before the prayer starts . But on my way back i met her next door neighbour who has better grass on his kerb garden . I got suspisous and was constantly wondering if the neighbours are making fun of me and my kerb which has big trees and does not look like a garden and often gives shelter to the neighbours drivers , guards and help , who sit under the shades in the heat of Karachi and spent their worst time of the day . But just now before starting this my the Sunday Blog # 114 ( Hundred and Fourteen ) i saw the Google doodle
No no this is not the Sehri .....after coming from the mosque at eleven pm i drink a lot of water and juice and sat down to watch television so did not eat at all . so now i got a chance to eat . The Piece of cake is that last of my Happy Birthday Cake which i mostly eat my self . This was the final Happy Birthday which came in Ramzan and coincided with the fatehas . The next one will be on eid second or third day next year 2019 . And i may not have to buy a cake on a third day of eid ...Anyways the cake was awesome

Anyways i will play this google doodle game some other time because tonight or morning i am already late by half an hour as i was watching or trying to watch the new episode of Pyar lafzon mein kahan ...yes the HayMur serial as it is popularly known on the social media . it is too childish but i am hooked to it so can't help it now and since the filmazia HD repeats it so much that i can't miss it even if i try to . Just like of all my efforts to not watch the Nagin 3 as i did with the 1 and 2 . this time due to the filmazia HD channel 's persistent repeats i got to watch the first episode and now know the story the characters and the Motive behind the revange of the Nagin 3 the shape shiftier or itsha dhari .
What i don't understand yet is that what happend to Karishma Tanna in the second episode why she had to be replaced by Anita Hassanandani Reddy
no i am not complaining or anything . its just not clear at the moment if both will stay on the show or only one will take it from here . I can understand that she can shape shift anytime and even though the original is no longer required but i am sure the producer or director or ekta will keep bringing back Karishma for the dance . Oh and the show is already making money with unrelated hindi movie new release segments like the special visit of the cast of veere di wedding .
Anyways i am not sure if i will watch this show after ramzan when i get back to my regular movie watching .

Before the prayer i was in a very different mood not having enough water to prepare but during the prayer i got reminded that we do not have to hate the Indians or Pakistanis because of their dams and our no water . We here in Karachi the most dangerous city in the world are not fully dependent on their water . we Have two very incredible sources of The God Gifted Rain and Sea Water . And since many people are now using up the Boring Water and RO water so please and this is serious ....use as much water as you can to the extent of wasting as long as it does not go in sewerage . That is if you are taking the water from the earth then return most of it so that the level stays the same . And of course pray more for rain as well . Plant trees if you can take care of it and water it for at least an year or two regularly . Don't waste time and money for an election campaign . Trees don't grow on their own just by planting in a dry barren land or neighbours kerb . LOL
My sister is trying to grow a few mango trees for the past three years , saves the kitchen and dishes water to water them multiple times daily and still they are only knee high . So Mr Alvi ( Doctor) your plant has very little chance of survival and turning into a environmentally friendly tree before 25th july 2018 . Make a ditch of water instead it will do more good to the environment of Karachi .

5:13 pm It was any amazing Break . I saw thee sign of water coming soon . Sky is partly cloudy Humidity outside is 60% and inside it must be 20% more but i can't keep the door of this room open right now because of the Aloo Pakora frying in the kitchen nearby . Getting requests of water melon for iftar lets see if i can go . Since this my the Sunday Blog # 114 ( Hundred and fourteen) is now reaching the three thousand words mark so all my tension is gone and i can go out to the market but then i think that only two days are left for the taravee khatam-ay Quran and i should not take any extra risk . So i think that i should avoid the rush hour peak ramzan shopping time . This week has been really tough at iftar i ate very little had lots of water and went to the mosque an extended four hours of non fast not eating and praying . Anyways it is amazing that during the going to the mosque and back and all the time i am there perspiring profoundly i did not feel de-hydrated at all . Somebody is providing the free bottled chilled water during the taravee God the All Mighty Allah Amen ! Bless Him . But i did not use it not even once or had to . For Some odd reason i try to avoid any thing that is free and especially during this holy month of ramzan and in the mosque or on the way .
Okay the water has not yet been pumped up to the overhead tank so the tap is still dry and i may have to take the bottle bath and wadu again for the Asr Prayer . I was never use to this lota culture but ever since i have started this Sunday Blog series somebody at the helm and on the main stream is trying to distract me from being my natural and witty self and keep my focus on the more trivial matters of the every day #$%&* life here in karachi the most dangerous city in the world . prayer so still no mood to go to the market and bring the water melon but after watching these Aloo Pakoras i don't think i can go out knowing that everybody is with fast and wont touch the aloo pakoras till iftar time But still the mind and body not accepting it can't help it
The Iftar parties as the media here calls were on the decline this year mostly due to the political uncertainty as well as heat and traffic jams . Going mile away just to eat rolls and chat that you can make , buy or borrow for nearby without risking your life and limb does not seem wise anymore especially in the fast when you also have to rush back to go to your regular taravee . So i believe that people who don't have to go to the taravee after isha and those who are not fasting are the ideal people to be invited to the Iftar Parties and they must go or should go and have fun till the host repent .

Honestly i have no idea who he was or why he is so famous after a suicide after all no matter what good you do in this life but if you take your own life you go to hell Amen !

The 26th of ramzan is here now a night without moon here in karachi the most dangerous city in the world . Had a very light iftar just a date most probably pakistani or irani . not sure . and a few aloo pakoras and cool drinks and water chilled . Left the chat and stuff on the table for later and by later as usually means in Ramzan after maghrib no after isha and taravee for me .
So today is 26th Taravee . yesterday the qari saab did not stop at the end of the 29th para he went all the way and kept on going till he reach the half ( nisf ) of the 29th para
رَّبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَلِوَالِدَيَّ وَلِمَن دَخَلَ بَيْتِيَ مُؤْمِنًا وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ وَلَا تَزِدِ الظَّالِمِينَ إِلَّا تَبَارًا - 71:28
My Lord, forgive me and my parents and whoever enters my house a believer and the believing men and believing women. And do not increase the wrongdoers except in destruction."
So after that iam not sure where will he finish today because at that speed he could finish today as well but maybe he will leave the last small sura for the khatam ay Quran
Anyways i am glad that i did it this year as well Thanks to the dear merciful Lord All Mighty Allah Amen ! This time i am not saying that i wont do it the next year . Insha Allah i will definitely try to even though i know that next year the weather will be harsher and i will be weaker than i was this year and may be i will also have some health and emotional issues to deal with still i pray that the dear merciful Lord All Mighty Allah Amen ! gives me strength again to pray the taravee prayer again and again insha Allah Amen !
I also Pray that the dear merciful Lord All Mighty Allah Amen ! save me from praying in a rickshaw for as long as possible Amen !
