The Sunday Blog # 101

Today is the Sunday the Eleventh of March twenty Eighteen the twenty second of Jamadi us sani 1439 till the Sunset ( 6:38 pm , Karachi ) And this is my the Sunday Blog # 101 .

Okay so where did we left last week ....?
Oh yes
just a few hours before the Red Carpet to the 90th Academy Awards 2018 or the Oscars 2018 . Sadly i fall asleep just before the start of the show and soon after i woke up the Electric Power and Broadband was shut down for all day . Every time that happens i feel like they are saving me from a distressful news , So as soon as system is restored i search for that news first or anything that i might have missed during or because of the shutdown . Unfortunately this monday evening i could find none so than i checked the Oscars winners list and Lo ! Churchill in the Darkest Hour have won the best Actor male .
Then i realised that the days power shut down had nothing to do with the Bad news or HBL PSL 3 .
Anyways The Karachi Electric and the cable company is already playing with the live wires in the neighbourhood  so there is no point in keeping the reaction secret.
Yes the whole week went away so briskly that i could not get a chance to look back and edit my maiden Century Sunday Blog # 100 ( Hundred) or watch the 90th Oscars rerun or even the portions on the youtube. Its so sad that i missed all the bad jokes and awkward moments of this years Oscars show and the Red Carpet . But just now as i was about to start this my the Sunday Blog # 101 ( hundred and One ) i saw a ticker on the news channels and just few moments before the midnight the actual footage of the ink spray on the former  DOD's spokesperson






Obviously throwing a shoe or a book does not match with the culture of Punjab especially the sialkot. So anyways
The politics of Pakistan is taking an interesting turn . After the senate elections nobody is sure what happened in the elections. Nobody seems to have clearly won the senate election except the MQM Bahadurabd with its one seat only . All major parties of Pakistan is sending their high level delegations to bahadurabad to congratulate While Sattar gang as seen on twitter few hours ago 
Minus one league in the making ? or just returning the money ?
Who cares !

4:27 am okay so i fell asleep which is so unbelievable usually i don't do this anyways i am up but not quite up that is i can fall asleep again any minute so i better hurry up and add a few hundred words so that even if i keep on sleeping till mid day or noon i am not afraid that i have wasted all my Sunday and did not get any where . By the way , today is the fourth Sunday in lent 2018 which means that we have crossed the half way already . I have no idea where the time went or why is it going so fast for me even though i do not have a life in the more natural sense of the word and living . My childhood friends female are in their third race .
1. Growing up .
2. getting married and having kids
3. the empty nest .

The child hood friends male were a little slower than female so they are still in the second race while i am still in the first race and desperately losing LOL ! After attending so many weddings of the childhood friends and eating the same sickening food year after year every wedding season i finally decided that i wont torture myself anymore about two decades ago . So not only i missed a lot of wedding invites and food but also could not keep track of some of the childhood friends progress especially the ones that were married out of the family or friends , out of town and out of country. Honestly i don't even know the count of their children let alone the the names . And thanks to the UN abc diversity program and my lack of interest and inertness i have arrived at a stage where i can have the dinner at eight at 7:45 pm or just after the maghrib prayer and enjoy a show or movie on television or HBL PSL 3 while they keep on racing with even more hungry mouths to feed . Sad isn't ? LOL

okay the Fajr Azans have started so now i will have to take a break here but i am not sure if it will be a small and short break or a longer one . The drowsiness that i was feeling about an hour ago is now completely gone . And there is a lot of half prepared breakfast or stuff that i can just microwave and eat . So now i have to decide whether i eat and sleep or just have a scrambled egg with slice toast and tea and come back to this my the Sunday Blog # 101 ( hundred and one) and try to find out why and how Canada survived the tariff on steel and aluminium .
Anyways the Sunrise is at six fortyfour am(6:44 am karachi) about an hour away . So here it is a break with a prayer for my dearly departed parents Papa and Ammi

May the dear merciful Lord All Mighty Allah have mercy on my dearly departed parents Papa and Ammi and may they be blessed by the dear merciful Lord All Mighty Allah and Their Souls may rest in peace in heaven. Amen!

The weather outside is amazing and the waning moon also has a nearby star . The cool breeze is very refreshing if i had not been doing this my the Sunday blog # 101 ( hundred and one ) i most definitely would have gone for shopping . LOL . yes i am out of munches and ice cream and here in karachi this is probably one of the best times of the day to go out before the sun starts burning down the skin . Anyways here is the first tweet of the day

6:50 am Yes i am still up and blogging . Had the pre-dawn breakfast on the fourth Sunday in Lent 2018 . Feeling really Great especially after listening to president trump revising the Slogan "Keep America Great !"

 yes the imperial highness is doing his thing in pennsylvania where the cheerleaders cheer better . I really enjoyed this part about the wall and Nafta while having Nashta ( Breakfast)
But missed the reason behind the revise of slogan KEEP AMERICA GREAT!

yes i heard that too but i don't understand the stormy daniels or the blue list ...he mentioned but it is sad that what i heard a thousand words later after the midnight on Sunday Morning was said on the Saturday evening !
Okay never mind . So canada and mexico gets exemption from the steel and aluminium imports tariff . MAKE AMERICA oh sorry ...

yes it is said that they got the exemption because of NAFTA , now today you heard whats going on behind the Wall to be build by the best and paid for by the mexico . So now who is left oh yes Canada . Well maybe he is not mentioning canada for some personal reasons but he did mention the chinese drug problem . We all know that Canada does not have a drug problem similar to the United States of America نشہ ہرن ہونا  ( be no longer intoxicated) is the urdu catch phrase commonly used for such situations

12:08 pm Good Afternoon ! we have electric power and cable . Interesting and i thought its the karachi vs lahore today anyhow . Just feet away from here outside the window a welder is grilling up the wall from the new neighbours side fortifying suggesting that they possess and protect  jan , mall , izzat and abro .  lol Funny isn't it .

okay so karachi has to win only one game out of the remaining three 8,9,10 and Lahore is already out of the tournament so no wonder the neighbourhood is so dead quiet and peaceful today on this fourth Sunday in Lent 2018 .
Its not just the HBL PSL 3 it is the writing on the wall . Lahore has lost all its dignity and love not just here in karachi whose hard earned blood and sweat it has wasted on unnecessary projects and let the people suffer going to work that is absolutely un excusable ( inexcusable). They were never the love birds that one can keep making the money and the other spending it . and then some baba will save them . What lahore has done  has only one analogy ...

Out of a dozen kids of the Baba only one daughter took away everything in the dowry leaving the household , the family and especially the Poor Baba in great Debts . Shame Shame Shame !!

And the irony is that karachi still looks bigger and better than ....mashhad
okay its time for the Zuhr azan So i take a break  with a prayer for my dearly departed parents Papa and Ammi

Wow what a sunday in lent 2018 ! Shouldn't have eaten the heavy breakfast if i only knew there will be a mega LOL moment today anyways now lets move on to some serious issues.


Yes this home banana yield has survived a lot this time the tree fell down half way and it was tied and given a bamboo support . No Chemical is used at any level or process except a green Apple which is kept for three days wrapped with the branch . Have not studied its effects on the raw banana but as you can see the fruit is ready to eat and does not even have a black spot like the ones we see on the bananas in the market .

Sadly my first ever rose branch plant that give the leaves last Sunday are now dried
in a few days i will know for sure if its just the leaves or the whole plant has dried . On Tuesday the donkey cart manure was bought by my sister and i slightly sprinkled about a quarter of the hand trowel maybe that may have caused this . Anyways i don't really feel that bad right now as i am sure if not this one some other plant or branch i have planted may grow leaves and show signs of the life . Anyways it was a fun week watching the first and then the second and a very tiny new leaf growing out of this very thin branch of rose .  Praiseth the dear Lord All Mighty Allah Amen !

3:42 pm Cold water on the head and hot tea in the mouth , i have no idea what message i am sending to my body.

well its not that hot outside today but it is hot and even though i saved myself from the lunch

and the turnips ,it is the tea time and also the Sunday Mass time
But can you believe that i resisted eating this potato cutlass
not even a single small bite lets see how long i can do it today . Okay maybe i did get away with this but i am sure i will not be able to resist the hot pakora's so i better hurry up and add a few hundred words before the next break . Having reached so close to the three thousand words mark on the words counter for this my the sunday Blog # 101 ( hundred and one) is great and if it had not been for that breaking news incident i might have thought of a serious issue to blog and my have already crossed the three thousand words or may be a five hundred words more by now . This shoe throwing thing and Baji maryam not reacting with a new tweet or re tweet or a profile change like yesterday when she changed her twitter profile and short intro to this

may have slowed me down a lot infact i want to go and sit in front of the television and channel surf not knowing who and how this will be reacted to . The Khan Saab and his Party is quick to condemn this act even though they may be rejoicing in the heart and mind But since it is yet not clear what segment of the really frustrated society is doing such acts . And how can it be controlled if  the violence spread . So far only the Noon League has been the target but Janta toh janta hai Public is public and no security measure can stop such acts that is how in the world can you stop a party worker or leader offered money or bought by the horse trading if he or she chooses to take off the shoe and throw . It is really really very sad that a shoe was thrown out at the na ahle PM in the mosque or madressa where everybody is usually seated without a shoe when the imam saab or the guest speakers are invited to speak. Here none of the people present in the audience seems to be sitting peacefully before or after the incident . Well i am not suggesting that they should have been sitting like this right from the start
but no matter how popular you have been in the past a jamia is still a jamia .

Aha i have crossed the three thousand words mark for this my the Sunday Blog # 101 ( hundred and one) so let me just check if the pakoras are ready or if i can continue

yes everything is ready from tea to the dinner and Baji maryam is on televison not the twitter so it must have been a political gimmick and not the real thing forget about it .





okay so i just grabbed a few pakoras and refil the cup with tea and here i am back doing this my the Sunday Blog # 101 ( hundred and one ) while baji Maryam cut short her speech and left . She seems quite happy with the days events and the leverage she got against rivals o jee joota pao piyo tay pheley kuch kam bezti huie si koi farq ne painda ......Tusi sab meri tweetan like karo re tweet karo te wasiq tey nazar rakho aho !

6:13 pm Okay so i have already posted the tea and pakoras pictures which i usually post in this half an hour before the Maghrib prayer break or sunset . So now i have nothing to share here so here is a non politcal anecdote .....Breaking news Just in from the Khan saab rally somewhere in one of the punjabs originally divided by the British into two the sikh punjab and the lahori punjab which is now further sub divided technically into PMLN punjab and the PTI khan saab Punjab . HBL PSL has also divided the Punjab into two the Qalanders and the Sultans . Okay i am not aware of what happened to the sikh punjab on the indian side but i believe that they already sub-divided it into haryana and Punjab in 1966 . Anyways so the anecdote was that somebody in the khan saab 's rally found scratching the foot rash was caught and beaten up very badly in suspicionof hurling a shoe at the great leader . LOL

okay so we are getting closer to the sunset and maghrib break so i hope and pray that during this break the kashmiri's remain united and are not divided into Butts and khawajas pro and against the Sharif and khans .
By the way promise me that we will not have the HBL PSL during the Senate elections ever again ....Promise ?

I saw the clear blue sky and a star right on my head before coming in to this my the Sunday blog # 101( hundred and one)
So The HBL PSL is not very important but the turkish soap serial dubbed in urdu by the Urdu1 channel is almost at the end . It has been my favorite and i was thinking of giving it up for Lent 2018 but then i thought that it only comes on the weekends so whats the point . So i did not give it up . There is no mention of the last episode on the channel or the facebook page or may be if there it was then i must have somehow missed it . But there is still no promo of the New serial or series that will take its place in the second quarter of the year . Oh no now we don't have shows and serials according to the quarters but we have a season . This season thing has not yet arrived here on the Pakistani television channels . They still have a three months quarter . The Bahadurabad vs PIB drama got the highest ratings and sponsors in the first quarter of 2018 and it is still on the number one position . But anyways ,
so as i was saying in turkish soaps shown here with udru dubbing by some turkish university because the voices and not very familiar on television and fm radio here but are very repetitive in all turkish shows . Usually the first season of a turkish show begins like it begins but the next season have everything lavish . the interior decor' the clothes and jewelry and the cars yes especially the cars . But above all the make up .  Okay the research suggests that İlişki Durumu Karışık 40. Bölüm or mein ayesha gul as we know it here has only 40 episodes and only one season so please disregard every thing i said about the changes  and glamour that i feel in the mid season were only in the same season and not in the next season further more i don't thing this is ending today .
So anyways it is time for the break

    10:45 pm okay the final hour before the end of this my the Sunday Blog # 101 ( hundred and one ) . Today i was thinking that if i have to reduce the time of the twenty four hours Sunday Blog to say half or quarter then will i prefer to end it at nine in the evening or will i have it till the end preferably . Honestly the final three hours are usually the best time of the day and night in the twenty four hours since the mid night to the next mid night . And given the choice i would rather love to do the sunday blog till the midnight it also has that fairy tale touch and the thought of the time running out quickly also increases the motivation and energy . My typing speed usually increases at this time of the day and the best thing is the even though i am in a hurry to reach a target or cross a certain mark on the words counter , i make very few mistakes both in the thoughts and in the spellings . I am still not sure how and why is that but it is so be it .

    okay so the karachi gives lahore a target of  164 lets see what happens The match usually goes on till half past mid night so from here on i will not even check the twitter for the latest score and just focus on this my the Sunday Blog # 101 ( hundred and one) . But before i stop checking the twitter a very interesting thing that i cannot stop from mentioning is that the top karachi trend this afternoon is no longer even on the bottom below

    Okay somehow the outer door was left open this evening and the ice cream wala was just passing in front of the gate at the right moment . Now lets hope the electric power company shuts down the power so i have no option but to eat all these before they melt down LOL 
    I stopped buying ice cream from these street roamers because they started over charging But now i see that they are also doing that to the security kids with guns and rifles and TT's so is there any hope for me without a sword ? No None at all i am so certain of it . 

    Okay so the latest word count check tells that i am very very  very near the five thousand words mark and there is still half an hour to go so i believe i need a very good topic to take me to the end of this my the sunday Blog # 101 ( hundred and one) . 

    So the easiest one seems to be the senate elections and the north korea now willing to meet the united states president and the media is suggesting them a good very good no man's land where the both leaders can feel safe and comfortable . Honestly after the tariff trade war i believe there is no place in the world more logical than the most dangerous city in the world karachi for such a summit . LOL
    okay never mind my lol i am very serious some times and after doing this my the sunday blogs for such a long time i feel that every time i try to be a joker , an azan break comes along and i have to be extremely serious . So if i cannot be a joker or a stand up comedian because of these seriousness breaks in my life now then what will happen in a few years when i will have a weaker mind and body and above all a weaker memory . maybe i will begin something very funny and just after a line or two i will forget what i was saying and spend the rest of the sunday Blog just trying to remember failing i will start anew and soon there with be a blog full of one liners .....all five thousand words or more ...LOL

    Okay so today as i was researching about the happy common wealth day i found this song video So i believe that today i cannot find a more appropriate song and video then this one Thank God All mighty Allah Amen that it is safe and not at all rated in the restricted category But i will certainly not say that about the movie it is taken from or included in not really sure about that either anyways its been a really great Sunday and the fourth Sunday in lent 2018 , the weather has really been good at least for me because i stayed in and the food was good too even though i did not eat much since the morning breakfast before the sunrise.
    So all the best to everyone and especially the British Royal family who has always been a misguiding light far far away  for me in the times of need .
