Tomorrow will be a new day ...a New Year 2024 CE .

My resolution for the coming New year is to relax and enjoy my life and don't care about the life on mars and Jupiter.

This week I honestly feel that my security has been beefed up ....So I apologize to the regular readers if they are not able to read this Sunday Blog in full because some part of this blog and my life may not be very easily accessible. Sorry 😔

I feel blessed after completing the century 💯 of Fasting in this year 2023 CE .

I am not very sure if I can call myself healthy....even though I survived both Coming Winter in December and going in January -- February earlier this year . There was not much rain in the monsoon but that is also a challenging season for us karachites .

Once again a major cyclone biparjoy , changed its course to hit the Indian Navy instead . Killing hundreds of Gujrati life and living ....

It gives me shivers when I think of cyclone 🌀 biparjoy had it not changed its course and hit Karachi and caused havoc on both sides of River Indus UpTo jacobabad and sukkur or beyond .

It is still not clear if 9th may was planned or a lapse of security.....but Honestly Pti and it's sponsors really deserved it. But Pmln's Nawaz Sharif's extradition from London was beyond amazing especially because we have no extradition treaty with UK .or great Britain.

K electric power one phase is out ....so obviously the few hours old ptcl flash fiber router is out too....no phone ...no internet....super genius ....hammered nails for two box like things ....in the wall but no power bank ...the so call ...flash fiber does not need k electric power ...goes into the drainage.....anyways ....I am making tea ☕ and boiling eggs ....so flight mode off and data on .... wireless....

The neighborhood is still dead silent with an occasional hammer 🔨 on tin sheets ....the Sindh police is not giving up .....they tried to scare me with a break-in and Pakistan Army took all the credit.... Unbelievable...

Yesterday noon I got a phone call from unknown number on my iphone ....I usually don't pick up the unknown numbers ...but it's winter vacation....you never know ...

The caller introduced himself as ptcl staff and informed me that Telephony 📞 is Dead ....RIP

If I wish to continue the legacy ...I will have to get a optic flash fiber connection with an internet package double the amount ....and that this was my last chance ...the offer ends today ...if I choose to accept...."The Team " will arrive in one hour . ( music)

I agreed .....

I waited three hours

Nothing ...

I called the same number ....nobody picked ....

Then I called the help line ... 1218

We had a detailed discussion.

The Telenor keep reminding me that I am calling other network on standard rates ....in other words I am mentally challenged .

Talking to the helpline ....I felt the call earlier from unknown number was a prank call . And that the ptcl helpline was just trying to coverup ....

Said if " The Team " did not come today it will come on Monday ....Sunday is closed .

I got relaxed ...and started praying after mentioning the prank call to my X

Just in the middle of the asr prayer..."The Team " started to arrive . . By Maghrib ....the job was finished ..payment done . "The Team " left .

Leaving behind an invalid phone connection and a no internet wifi connection and a router that went dead when kE shutdown the nuclear power this morning....

So sad 😭

Time to check the water pumps and have a hot bath and pray zuhr prayer 🛐 with a prayer for my dearly departed parents papa and Ammi and the Recently Departed Aslam Bhai

3:14 pm After I finished the thankless water pumps duty....and put the pot of water for quick heating ....I was surprised to find no gas ( Not Petrol )

We survived this last Sunday .....but why today ....thank God the All Mighty Allah Amen 🙏

I had super breakfast ...and don't need to ear brunch . But anyways I had a very Luke warm water bath .

The news is police is planning to check new years revelers with breathalyzers ...

Is it possible...to check those running the country with it too ..

5:22 pm Okay the good news is that we are now officially connected to the optic fibre though ptcl e& Flash fiber

And I will be free tomorrow for the outdoor pending tasks and be partially safe from the clear and present dangers of intercontinental ballistic Chaapas....I am not sure if the markets and banks will be open or closed tomorrow after the Petrol ⛽ prices are further slashed tonight as the new years gift from the caretaker govt .

Army chief ' s safe and sound return from Washington DC and Pentagon....and chief Justice of Supreme court ' s British wife's body search at Islamabad airport has had some aftershocks.....

Former prime minister who seemed to be heading for the gallows was allowed to fly to attend mamoo jan's funeral and he and his close associates got bail in some cases ....the rumors is that he might be allowed to play in the coming elections with his bat .....God Knows...what is going on ....

7:53 pm Soon after I finished the Maghrib Prayer

My dear elder sister requested chicken soup...I wanted to go and bring it myself from the nearest restaurant but she said it must be cold outside and then some restless consulars firing firecrackers as the new year beings in their country.....

So i said ok...and ordered a chicken soup for her and a tikka biryani for both of us ...

Soon after confirming the order this other app not Foodpanda 🐼 cancelled the order ...they did not mention the reason for my cancelled order...but my guess is that police or city govt must have forced them to shutdown early for the new years security measures .

Anyways ...when my order was cancelled she ordered the chicken soup 🍲 herself

The order arrived and without even caring about the main course ..we had the hot soup .....

There was still time to the humtv show so I came to bed and while uploading the pictures I fall asleep again . And woke up just now . It's few minutes after 9 pm .

Okay the gas ( Not Petrol ⛽) day curfew continue....and it's almost time for the Night curfew ....I don't clearly remember when was the last time I used Gas ( Not Petrol ⛽) today ...when I washed the wok ...yes ...I heated water in it to be able to cut the grease and sticky stuff ....yes it must be sometime after noon ....so if the gas ( not Petrol ⛽)

is gone since noon now it's 10 pm ...10 hours in the day

7 or 8 hours in the night ...that is 18 hours still not 24 hours ...

I had paya and naan ...from the leftovers ....was feeling cold suddenly falling asleep and then suddenly waking up .....now I feel very warm ....will have tea ☕ a little later ...I want to keep the taste of paya in the mouth a little longer ....

The Happy New Year streak has reached Thailand ...and it is moving very fast in less than two hours the fireworks will start ....

A missed call on my mobile 3 times ...it is very irritating when people call from unknown number and don't leave a message....if you call back and it was a wrong number ...you feel awful...after what happened yesterday...I think I should turn off my mobile for the whole week ...and try to enjoy the movies ....

Talking about movies ...it was the last week of the year ....and I tried to catch-up on the more talked about movies of the year ...honestly I had fun ...

The last one was really better than my expectations.....between Sonam Kapoor and Suhana Khan ...Ananya panday is definitely the best . Better in every way ....I hope she gets good projects and better supporting cast .....and nobody will remember whose daughter she was ....this is a natural born star well groomed ...her smile and innocent looks gives her and edge over janvi Kapoor ...and Varun dhawan .

Okay KBC season 15 came to end this week ....still no confirmation about the domestic divorce...between miss world and Abhishek.

Anyways who cares ....got to go and check the Gas ( Not Petrol ⛽)
