Today is the Sunday the 14th of June 2020 , the 22nd of Shawwal 1441H till the Sunset ( 7:23 pm ; Karachi ) .And this is my the Sunday Blog # 219 ( Two Hundred and Nineteen ) .
It was an Awesome Week . Which began with a cake and ended with a 🍰 cake . I mean a Happy Birthday . It has been a year since I took a careem ride to my siblings house two towns away . Fortunately , after over two months of lockdown the careem is now back allowed to operate with some restrictions and SOP's . But my siblings are too scared of the Corona virus and lockdown that it is better that I maintain the social distancing .
Okay the two main reasons why it's been so long since I visited them is
1. My nocturnal sleeping habit and ,
2. The hot , humid and rainy weather last year .
It was raining on bakra Eid
And people were being electrocuted . Forget Careem I didnot go to places I can walk to like the graveyard for over a year since the Eid day in June last year . For over two months of lockdown I did not go to the meat market Tariq road until this Friday . And I have not yet seen the newly opened underpasses on the shaheed e Millat road .
My guess is that with a signal free traffic it must be impossible to cross it on foot . On Google maps one of the crossings on the Jinnah medical crossing is still blocked meaning the project is not yet fully completed . Maybe that's the reason why when we order food from bahadurabad or sharfabad area the riders take a longer route from Tariq road or Kashmir road and sometimes call to ask as if we are on an island across the sea .
So anyways the building and construction mafia both private and government contractors and even the international consortiums like the Chinese have hit the bottleneck due to this pandemic Corona virus . These days due to the uncertain govt policies the work is almost halted . Many scandals of bribe and bhatta coruption will emerge no matter how much the ruling class try to play the cover-up pingpong . It is amazing that the sugar subsidy scandal has brought to limelight the across the party involvement . Meaning each and every political party has its share in it regardless of party in power in the center or the provinces and the opposition .
The bad news is that after two weeks of petrol crisis . Which surely reduced the smog and increased the prospects of the rain in most of the country except Karachi☠️
Now the politically unison are up against the everyday use kitchen essential item yes the sugar . The rate has been fixed at Rs 70 per kg by the supreme Court of Pakistan and the hoaders and smugglers all politically backed are not satisfied with that price . So the media has already started reporting shortage in supply at main markets and utility stores across the country .
It's good for the diabetics I believe . I already drink the tea without sugar so I will survive a sugar free week or a month I am sure if it don't you worry .
Another most interesting judicial activism this week was when the supreme Court of Pakistan fired the highest Railway officer and warned his staff for incompetence .
The only good news on the political scene this week is that due to the Corona virus social distancing many political leaders and law makers have tested positive and are excused from the boring budget sessions in the national as well as the provincial assemblies of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan .
And finally the great news is that the party that brought broadband for me from the UK , also imported MS Cynthia D Ritchie

okay i have skipped the Sunday Breakfast today .....and i have just been informed that we are out of stock for the White Gram Choley . And yesterday i was informed that there is a complete lockdown ....so there is no chance of a Halwa puri Sunday Special Breakfast today .... And you can also see the 42.7 % waning moon on the sky right now meaning its partly cloudy and no chance of a rain....
Can you believe there are mangoes in the house for the past whole week and i have not touched them ...especially after i had a boil on the forehead after eating the home made raw mango keri pickle ...it hurt and was only gone yesterday ....only after that i had a almost frozen mango shake .....yesterday with lunch .....no direct mango yet ....
And you would be glad to know that all systems are almost normal .....especially the skin and the stomach as well as the throat and nasal ....no unwanted mucus yet .
So anyways it should have been the time to discuss the Annual Budget 2020 -2021 and the finance Bill presented this friday ., read by one and explained by another ....Democracy ....,
so that i can fall asleep and have sweet dreams ,,,,but since i have the Data now so i guess i should do the Movies of the week first and we will discuss the Budget later on either today or in the coming weeks ....

Honestly i Don't think I have sleep at all but somehow I feel like I have been sleeping a lifetime Street too Quiet

So the Black protests have taken one more black protesters life in Atlanta and forced the police chief to resign . Shiekh Rasheed on the other hand has gone back to CMH Rawalpindi for further 🚆 training .
This week the cricket board announced a squad for England which included the former skipper Sarfaraz Ahmad as a stepni wicket keeper . Remember he yawned keeping the wickets in the most crucial match against India . Due to the pandemic Corona virus many selected players seems to have refused to go with the squad . Can you believe that it is probably the only cricketing event in the world at the moment so there maybe no other opportunity available for them to go to other then the baby shower still that's what they decided so fitay moo what do I care ?

I had no idea that the colorful sweet pieces found in the Zarda and we so love to dig can be made from the water melon 🍉 skin . I am not really sure if I would be so eager to dig in the Zarda the next time I see it . Heard so much bad stuff about the food colors already 😭

And deep down I saw # sushatsinghrajput the Indian actor famous for Shud Desi and bomakesh bakhshi . Found dead in his Mumbai residence . Probably suicide . Cannot believe this .....then Rajput must be a filmy name .
So what a day it is ...first Sabiha died at the age of eighty five and here this . I do sincerely hope his death had nothing to do with the Highland clubs and police .
Today I feel being followed from a distance .

Finally fall asleep at Six and suddenly woke up in the dark room and thought that I missed a prayer hurriedly got up turn on the light switch and watched the time and then the next prayer time .. there was more than ten minutes difference so I hurriedly rushed to wazu for the prayer when I suddenly realized that I had prayed the prayer with a prayer for my dearly departed parents Papa and Ammi
