Good Morning ! 

This has been a very tough week for me ...it was the Ghosia giyarween week and even though we had fateha twice once on mutton pulao and vermicelli zarda 

And again on cake and gulab jamun .....I had lost my appetite.....for more than two weeks .....was on strict diet of just one or half meal a day ....I suspected the viral chikungunya ....

Spend most of the day sleeping and night watching tv . Was absolutely unable to move and unbend the knees .sometime even standing and climbing a step was impossible.slowly I was recovering but since Thursday after I went to the market and returned the knee joints and especially the right one almost give up . I wasn't able to prostrate and even walk on Friday and Saturday morning ....too much pain I felt even in bed lying down ...it was like a cramp or after cramp feeling ....then I took the muscles relaxant and painkiller and tried to sleep . 

This helped a little...and now I am able to walk and bend unbend the right knee without feeling the pain 

Praiseth the Lord All Mighty Allah Amen 🙏 

The only good news that came this week was from cricket 🏏

Today is the icc t20 women world cup final between 

New Zealand and South Africa women 

Can you believe there is no Australia or India . 

Multan 2nd test had an all together a very different game this week ...Pakistan playing without the major players like Babar and Naseem won the 2nd test all thanks to noman Ali and Sajid Khan for taking all the wickets .

May the dear merciful Lord All Mighty Allah have mercy on my dearly departed parents Papa and Ammi and may they be blessed by the dear merciful Lord All Mighty Allah and Their Souls may rest in peace in heaven. Amen!

I did not sleep watched a movie No hard feeling 

Fall asleep at 9 am 

And woke up at 12:25 pm 

Checked water pump 

Having tea ☕ no brunch 

7:44 pm Been over relaxed 😎  all day ....did not eat brunch or lunch ...tried to order tea snacks...but the items I wanted to order sold faster then my finger tips could .....using the app . 

Anyways after maghrib..... 

We had this for dinner ....

New Zealand wins catches ....Amazing 😍 

Finally the top drama series of Geo Entertainment kaffara came to a very logical end ....Love wins conquers all ....honestly I was absolutely unable to comprehend the logical link between the story and the Title kaffara which means 

the expiation or atonement of sin... 

On the contrary ....sitara and salar who had been wronged throughout the series ....acted in a manner very beneficial to those who wronged them ....that was not kaffara but Ahsan or  doing good only in return ...

Due to weakness and pain in the leg ....and lack of proper diet ....I was not able to watch movies this week ....one more reason was the cable tv was obsessed with khel khel mein and sarfira 

Both Akshay Kumar 's movies they were repeated all week in my time slot ..,

So the only movie I watched this week was

Senate passes 26th constitutional amendment bill 

Following multiple delays and much controversy, the Senate has passed the 26th Constitution Amendment Bill 2024, with members of the House voting in favour of all 22 clauses.

The bill is now expected to be passed by the National Assembly to enact it into law. A session of the NA is set to begin shortly as lawmakers have started gathering in the lower house.

The bill, better known as the Consti­tutional Package, is legislation proposing a set of constitutional amendments, including the fixture of the chief justice’s term. A special parliamentary committee formed last month — which had the representation of all parties, including the PTI — had been discussing various proposals.

Approved by the federal cabinet earlier in the day with the consensus of the government’s coalition partners, the bill was presented in the Senate today by Law Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar.

At the beginning of the session, the law minister presented the bill following which senators delivered their speeches.

Gilani read out its contents and asked lawmakers to cast their votes.

Following the voting, the constitutional amendment bill was approved by a two-thirds majority.

“Sixty-five members are in favour of the motion regarding the passage of the bill, and four members are against it,” Gilani said. “So, the motion is carried out by the votes of not less than two-thirds of the total membership of the Senate, and consequently, the bill stands passed.”
