So we are back in the Winter ... unfortunately here in Karachi we usually miss the winters or feel it when it's over in the February or late January....people like me who rarely go out in the chilly morning and even order their halwa puri delivered from tooso restaurant through Foodpanda...around midday ...have every right to be so gloomy about not having a winter .
I love the hot and spicy Pakistani food which makes you feel warm and elevated ...without winter cold ...it's no fun at all .
Most of the year especially during the hot and humid summers I get very sweaty while trying to enjoy my favorite dishes ....I very anxiously anticipate the mercury drop so I can feel warm and dry while eating the Hot and spicy meaty treats ....like nalli Nihari and buffalo trotters ( beef paye)
Beef kabab paratha rolls and other beef and chicken Barbecue and the mutton pulao and qorma ..nargisi koftas and katakat
It's so difficult to sleep with ease after attending a winter party and eating the heart full here in Karachi . But the worst is that you bring or cook the seafood in winter and mother nature simply forgets that it was supposed to be cold and chilly winter night .
Yes ironic indeed !
This time I am trying to be less foolish ...and not fall for the misconception of being in winter and start eating like there is no tomorrow. We are beginning with smaller portions single meals ....and skipping meals .
The fun fact about Karachi winter is that it is very hot during the sunny day time ...so I always say to compare the people working outside in the direct sun with the stay at home ..." Tum Garmi sey mer gaay ...hum sardi sey...." ( You will die of heat and we die of freezing ...)
Especially if you live in a closed and no sunlight kind of surrounded by trees or higher buildings .
Okay I feel very sleepy so I take a tea ☕ break ...or probably fall asleep watching reels on Facebook

In the morning (noon) when I woke up it felt like I am at the shipyard ....the sounds of hammer and machines coming from all sides ...
Now it's the only one machine left others left the union .
After being free from the water pump duty I had the Sunday Brunch and then I had a bath and prayed Zuhr prayer 🛐 with a prayer for my dearly departed parents papa and Ammi and the Recently Departed Aslam Bhai

The Karachi Traffic Police has announced a detailed traffic plan ahead of Dr. Zakir Naik’s lecture at Bara Dari near Jinnah Bagh. The event, expected to start at 7 PM, is likely to attract a large audience, prompting the authorities to implement special parking arrangements and road closures.
Attendees are advised to park at two designated locations: YMCA Ground and DJ College Ground. From there, they will need to walk to the Polo Ground, the event’s venue
Several roads leading to the event will be closed to traffic, including Awan Sadar Road and the stretch from Fawara Chowk to Khajoor Chowk. Alternative routes have been suggested for commuters to ease congestion.
Vehicles from I.I. Chundrigar Road and Shaheen Chowk will be diverted to PIDC via Ziauddin Road and Khajoor Chowk. From PIDC, traffic will be rerouted to Club Road and can continue towards Clifton or Shahrah-e-Faisal.
Furthermore, traffic from the Shaheen Complex signal will be directed towards MR Kayani Chowk and Zainab Market, while vehicles from Fawara Chowk will head towards the Awari signal, leading to Shahrah-e-Faisal and Teen Talwar
Both sides of Sindh Club Chowk to Metropole and Fawara Chowk have been designated as No Parking zones. The Karachi Traffic Police has advised residents and attendees to plan their routes accordingly to avoid inconvenience.
