So once again I start this my the Sunday Blog in a Nuclear Power Shutdown about which I cannot decide if it's the first of Sunday or the last of Saturday . 

The week has been worse than ever . Not only did the number of times of the shutdown increased but also the duration of the shutdown also increased few times like twice yesterday the electric power was not restored after the one hour shutdown ...it came back after two hours . 

And talking of Nuclear Power Shutdown 

Saein Zardari ' s mother #2 passed away this week she was the second wife of Bambino Cinema .

Something Ara bukhari 

Isn't it funny ... socialite's of Karachi heads the socialist party . And they do it so well . To put Trump and moodi to shame at the same time . 

It is true that this bigotry has not helped them win a simple majority in the past couple of elections to even form a coalition government in the centre but they do hold a very got grip on the sindh province and through it on Karachi . Power generation and distribution has always been Pakistan People's Party's prime focus since it's creation Bhutto Saab , benazir and then Saein Zardari . Remember the infamous IPPs . Ever wondered why the Two percent of Karachi supports the forty two percent of Sindh . 

In a very surprising move Pakistan Rangers picked Up a generalist known on Twitter as AK- 47 and checked their popularity all day among the mango man ( aam admi)

Luckily my internet was off as it is today as well . 

Hey after surviving a whole week with the " Innocence" I started playing the Farmville 2 country escape ..once again 

It is fun especially during the Loadshedding and internet shutdown .

2:33 am it could have been the coalition govts strategy to divert the attention from loadshedding and unprecedented taxation and inflation and mini budget within the budget ....

That here in Sindh and Karachi 

Wastage of huge sums of imf and foreign exchange dollar is blamed on the people's bus projects . Can you imagine a people's mass transit project that neither covers Tariq road shopping center nor touches it on either ends .....any political worker in Pakistan and especially in Sindh and Karachi  knows that whenever a party or group is in dire straits need attention of the nation they head to mazar e Quaid and shahrah e quaideen or when released from central jail goes through shaheed e millat road ...the so called people's bus project completely ignores it ....which leads to the suspicion that this is not a Sindh govt project at all . 

Not to mention the design of the buses 

ABSOLUTELY NOT ! for the hot and humid weather of Karachi and Sindh even if we dream of working AC 

And it's not safe either . Keeping in mind the firing and pelting of stones very very common in most areas . 

The most interesting Thing that happened this week was a rapid fire Thunderstorm ⛈️ it came from nowhere and after thrashing Karachi disappeared . 

And the weather remained very unchanged and horrible . Plight intensified .

Had a very sound sleep must have been a very silent Sunday morning

Woke up once again very thanks to the Karachi Electric ( Shanghai Electric) Nuclear Power Shutdown at 11 am 

Had tea 

Will have some leftovers for brunch 

12:04 pm sounds of generators have stopped the electric power must have been restored got to get up and check 

Yes that's true 

As the generator sound stopped sounds of on going  religious debate begins to clear from the front kerb under the Neem tree . 

Today professor's driver who usually gets Sunday off, has completely trapped the gharib maroorn driver of Saein's household . The Sun is too hot for me to even stand behind the wall and listen .

So I got up and come back to bed under the fan . 

There used to be less loadshedding or no loadshedding on Sundays but today we 

already have half hour at midnight and one hour at 11 am 

Let's see if we make it to the 2:30 pm flight in the after noon . 

And talking of flight ...this week I finally begin to feel like I get a " you're free to fly.." clearance from everybody due to the IMF pressures . 

This has certainly raised my hopes that soon I might even get a plane or permit . 

Praiseth the Lord All Mighty Allah Amen 🙏 

It's 12:30 pm have to go and check the water pumps again . 

12:31 pm Break ! 

1:44 pm okay the internet is restored again without the complaint . 

I had an peach ....like the one that is hard and tangy ....everybody else like it soft and sweet .

Infact I like all fruits that are not fully ripe or too soft . Especially falsa the small dark berries . 

I like them when they are yellowish red 🍒 

So the brunch time is almost over now ...we will probably eat after zuhr prayers ....

Not sure if it is politically correct to call it lunch .

If lunch time starts from 1 pm 

Any meal after 3 pm cannot be called lunch ...most people get up from siesta before 3 pm and have tea till Asr prayer time . 

Okay I am not in the mood to eat today . I had a fully belly yesterday twice and the extra loadshedding made me sweaty and restless . 

So today I was hoping to have the leftovers only when I am cold and dry ...and my sugar and energy is below the line . 

But you know our cooking mafia ...she is cooking something ....which smells so good that you can't resist . 

I usually cook without spices ...only the salt and pepper 🌶️ chillies . She cooks with the right spices so not only her cooking smells good it tastes good as well . 

Some people cooks with extra spices so their food smells very good and irresistible but when you take the first bite you know that it is not what you were expecting . 

Pakistan is having local bodies elections . My neighbhood is probably not in Pakistan . We are not having any local , provincial or national general eor bye elections . 

Lucky because it's just too hot to even stand at the gate let alone going out and standing in queue at a polling station . 

In the 2018 general election pti gave the ticket to a certified lota from my neighbhood . He was laid to rest a week ago at the shrine of Ghazi Shah of Clifton and this week a judge ordered his body be exhumed and post mortem done to fine out the real cause of his untimely death . His first ex and mother of two once again used her influence in the media and political groups to stop the post mortem . The Sindh police of Jamshed town seems fully convinced that they are really not aware of the cause of death and they don't want to believe the stories spreading in the media that he died due to a Nuclear Power Shutdown and no fuel ⛽ in the generator . 

Anyways , let's hope it's over now and the exes and family can move on . 

Unfortunately the kids will have to share his property with the third wife who posted his nude videos on the social media and caused huge embarrassment for them and his fans world wide . The third wife was not fully divorced by law she asked the court for khula and also demanded alimony . That he was not willing to pay . 

Okay now I feel week and sleepy so here I take a prayer break for lunch and zuhr prayers with a prayer for my dearly departed parents papa and Ammi and the Recently Departed Aslam Bhai .

2:34 pm Break ! 

3:30 pm We missed the Third loadshedding at 2:30 pm 

I was overjoyed the shouting kids on the roof next door were also quiet probably eating or watching cartoons 

I took the food pictures and tasted the sweet vermicelli zarda ...since I am lactose intolerant ...I prefer this . 

And if you don't add a lot of dry fruits it is probably the cheapest sweet dish these days althought the bag of vermicelli which used to be less than 20 Rs until recently is not 40 Rs by all major food products companies 

Like Shan , national , falak etc etc .

After tasting the zarda I just checked kerb status ... professor's driver was hunting on the local police guard with the bullet proof jacket on special Sunday duty . This time he has changed his modus operandi...speaking on the mobile phone in a different regional language . The policeman is still resisting arrest . 

Anyways , a little before 3 pm I came back inside and started preparing for the zuhr ...this is the second time this week that the wash room went dark while I was inside preparing for prayer ...on Friday they started the loadshedding at 7:30 pm during the maghrib Azan ...

Anyways so the third Nuclear Power Shutdown of Sunday has began at 3:00 pm let's see if we get the light back at 4 pm or later . 

After prayer I had a cup of tea and once again went to check the kerb status 

And I was surprised to see the professor 's driver gone and a courier sorting parcels on the kerb 

While the policeman was sighting in a chair with another driver from the corner of the street and both were very quietly and calmly chatting a little while later the courier got up from the kerb and mounted his motor bike and left . 

And then professor's driver returned from the market oven with a bag of three tandoori naan bread . He stopped near the policeman moved the bag of naan so they can smell the hot naan bread ..

I continued sipping my hot tea ...the professor's driver went to his door and handed the bag of naan bread to someone or probably put it inside himself and came out and stood at his door looking for his next target ...someone who would talk or just listen to him . Tough crowd ! 

This only happens on Sundays 

Still not sure why he is on the guard duty today the cars seems to have been all gone or rented out ...

The 3rd loadshedding ended at 4:03 pm 

Feels so good when you don't have to get up ...and the sweat is dried in few minutes . 

Battery low ...this mobile with shut down any moment now ...

So I better get up and plug it in and then post some lunch pictures ...

5:35 pm okay the mobile is charged but it's time for Asr prayers with a prayer for my dearly departed parents papa and Ammi and the Recently Departed Aslam Bhai .

Anyways , 

Did not do much in the past couple of hours besides praying two prayers maghrib and Isha with a prayer for my dearly departed parents papa and Ammi and the Recently Departed Aslam Bhai .

Talked to Doctor Saab and the good news is that his newly wedded nephew's bride got the British visa and she left to join his husband . We were also invited to their wedding in March before Ramzan but we were not able to attend because of my sister's eye operation . 

The great news is that engineer Saab who got married a week early has also received her visa  and she may be leaving soon . 

I was under the impression that visa processing takes longer ...mine took decades and the answer is still NO !  recently even  banker said 

You cannot get a visa . We only offer pakpay . 

Jokes apart  I think I should write my memoir 

Mein London keun nahein ja saka ..."  

I am sure somebody will like to make a tictok on it . 

Movie Time ! 

Every thing was going very smooth I was watching two movie on Netflix or cable every night while checking the water pumps or waiting for fajr prayer

Then the Thunderstorm ⛈️ came and internet was lost 

There is this 2022 movie " The Wrath of God " which has taken the whole week and is not finished yet .

In the local scene ....the drama channels I watch every evening for the daily soaps , ARY and HUM are promoting three Horror comedies soon to be released ... The promo on hum begins in such high pitch that I have to switch the channel . The digital tv remote does not have a mute button . I don't understand this . 

Since it's against my policy to discuss or review the movies from that production house so this comes down to the mehwish hayat movie ...if it is a sequel to the previous one in which they invited people for their divorce and then changed their mind then I am sure it must be a waste of their time . I will probably eat biryani while watching it few months later ...and enjoy like before . Infact I even gave it a perfect 10 stars on IMDB list .

Agriculture promotes culture , society , village , heritage, family values

Construction industry produce slums , dystopia,  chaos, crime . Fuel shortages , traffic jams , environmental pollution. And above all inflation.
