So two third of March is gone
Half of lent passed away
And the Shab e baraat come and go ...
Bakra eid is just a quarter away ...with lumping disease looming over the cattle farming and Beef industry .
Lumpy skin disease is a viral disease that affects cattle. It is transmitted by blood-feeding insects, such as certain species of flies and mosquitoes, or ticks. It causes fever, nodules on the skin and can also lead to death, especially in animals that have not previously been exposed to the virus.
On Thursday it was the day before the eve of Shab e Baraat meaning the 13th of Shaban . I learned from my dearly departed Ammi ( May her soul rest in peace in jannah Amen 🙏) that in the year ending on the Shab e Baraat , if somebody dies in the house then there is no Fateha on the eve of Shab e Baraat that is the fourteenth day of Shaban . We all remember that special sweets or Halwa are made for the special fateha on the fourteenth of Shaban before the night fall .
That year when somebody has died in the house . The fateha is held a day before . And I also read somewhere that in most parts of indian and muslim world ...this is not just for the Shab e Baraat ...it is normal to have every special event a day early so that the normal routine celebrations of the rest of the family and friends are not disturbed and the mourning household is remembered .
City life has changed every thing .
Just like it's time for me to take a pause and go check the water pumps ...
Don't know or understand why I have inherited this water pump duty day and night from my Recently Departed Aslam Bhai . ( May his soul rest in peace in jannah Amen 🙏) .

Biden , NATO and US forces are doing their best to avoid a Nuclear Super War . The first and the last of its kind .
They say that they lost a military plane in norway . Cannot understand why and how it crashed on its own near the border .

Tea cup refill ...
So I was saying .... that on Thursday we had a special Arfa fateha for Recently Departed Aslam Bhai.
I don't know what got into me I woke up and went to the local butchers shop in the nearest market .

Tea cup refill with two spoonful of chocolate cake .
So where was you ....oh yes ...the butcher shop ....my regular beef shop was closed .
And the one was nearly ...the mutton and chicken 🐔 shops were open but there were no buyers at all . I asked for lamb leg
Which was much less than two kg but he insisted that I buy two kg and for that we agreed on neck but he started weighing the lamb leg with the organ meat ...and the cords ..I protested so he took out the mobile and tried to distract me with same old routine conversation . I became firm ...and insisted that he remove the cords ...on which he argued that if you won't take it who would buy it ?
I told him that it's not my problem ...I am paying for what I want ....and it's an important day don't fool around ...the dear merciful lord All Mighty Allah Amen 🙏 won't be pleased with you ....he got scared and put down his knife ...and said no I don't want to sell on your terms . Company policy . So I told him that this means an end to the relationship of long standing . And he said okay .
I moved to the next shop ...and did the same purchasing from there ...
We had a really good mutton Pulao for the Fateha .....

Tea finished ....the water board valve man must have fallen asleep tonight just like the neighbors street guard . He will be off the chair very soon .
Our head count Aunt chachi jaan called yesterday afternoon ....on landline ....chances are that the next year's list is already open . She won't tell unless we told her ....but it must be somebody real close .

All this lent I usually begin to fall asleep very regularly at the last hour but usually I wake up at the last hour and do the

The US are definitely losing their grip here in Pakistan .
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari of PPP / opposition.. threatened to stop the OIC ministerial conference scheduled to begin next week if parliament does not call the session for no confidence motion against the prime minister .
Govt ministers are all panicked .
If OIC cancelled the meeting and they can or change the venue to lahore or karachi like the icc did for Rawalpindi matches in Pak V Aus series ,
No OIC meeting means no parties and no parties means no shows ...no ukrainian belly dancers . Paid in advance . To cover the contractual loses ...they increased the price of ghee about Rs 50 / per kg ...so the pouch of dalda ghee I bought last week for Rs 424 / - is today Rs 474 /-

Did some gardening , collected the discounted Electricity bills ....checked water pump and admired the smell of neighbors quorma .
Sweep the dried leaves and picked some wet leaves out from the tub
Was thinking of going out for shopping ...but then got lazy ...

9:40 pm Since iftari I have been very slow almost sleepy mostly in bed ..
Watched .many desperate politicians making their case but they are making it harder and harder to select one . But right now I am not worried about who to choose I am trying just trying to guess who the Russians would prefer .
