Today is the first Sunday of the New Year 2021 ( Two Thousand and twenty one AD)

The 3rd of January 2021

The 18th of JamadiulAwwal 1442H

Till the Sunset ( 5:56 pm ; Karachi)

And this is my the Sunday Blog № 248 ( Two Hundred and forty eight )

So we survived the Happy New year's night aerial firing by the serial killers Once again . Unfortunately the night , the night before and after were not very cold or freezing as it was predicted .

So all the planning regarding the food, meals and menu failed money wasted . The Nulli Nihari was cooked right but it looked too oily so excess amount of dough was added so mostly I eat and sleep 😴 and since there was nothing to watch in the first test so nobody cared at all . I remained absolutely relaxed and totally avoided going out . Even bought the eggs from the bakery on wheels at the door step .

The Price of eggs is record Rs 220/- per dozen .

The Price of Petroleum products was also increased

About Rs 2.5 per litre

And because of the above increased the price of Sheermal bread was increased to Rs 50/- from Rs 35 /- at Allahwala on main and Tariq road branch on foodpanda 🐼

And Hanifia Hunter beef price was again increased to Rs 1900/- per kg

It's not that I live on all the things mentioned above especially the Frozen Hunter's Beef but keep myself abreast with the latest prices just in case

And while I was gasping at such sudden price increases ...

My dear cousin Mamoo came with boxes of bakhlava announcing his nephews engagement . He also brought freshly fried Aloo samosas to have tea with us but he must have been called back for some other errands so he returned without filling in the details . Deja Vu 🤓

Mamoo did exactly the same one or twice before ...it turned out that the boxes of sweets he delivered at gate were for a fake or unsure engagement under the pressures of the ongoing wedding and four funerals in his family . I honestly don't know the exact arithmetics this time due to Corona Pandemic .

Okay so where was i ?

Oh yes ...

The Happy New year 🎉

The aerial firing in the block away started a little early then midnight . And at midnight the fireworks started . I was channel surfing ...I wanted to see if CNN mentions Karachi ☠️ , the most dangerous city in the world ,

But when the sounds of fireworks started getting louder and closer then I could not resist and I grab the mobile camera and started making video of the colourful fireworks . It wasn't at the usual place in the sky . Instead it was at a very unusual place and only half visible from my lawn . As if somebody had planned that while making a video of the fireworks, i would be forced to go out on the street to get a clearer and full view of the colourful fireworks 🎆🎇🎉

I was just thinking what to do as the battery of Mobile was low . When I heard the siren of a police mobile hurriedly rushing as if chasing somebody ....then I realized that it would not be very wise to go out to catch a full view and stand in the middle of the street even though there was no traffic at all at that moment .

And talking of traffic

The serial killer air traffic control did not forget going over my head during all this mayhem ....Never 🤪

The cable guy remained under pressure or unsure .

Everybody knew that PCB does not want an easy test win at this stage so that can't be it . Not to mention a pre recorded bad audio starplus and Sony children's

Shows , most of the movies were South Indian re-runs , Pakistani re-runs and Demented B- movies Hollywood re-runs .

Let's hope we have a change of pace next week or I will be forced to return to my Hallmark downloads from the YouTube . Despite being extremely faithless and missguided according to my religion , these Hallmark televisions movies gives hope and educates a lot about the harsh realities of a small town and village farming communities and folks . Aspiring youth and midlife crisis prom kings and Queens .

What i like the most about these Hallmark television movies and shows is their fairytale endings , the element of magic and most of all the notion of being watched all the time even when you are being thrown of the horse back into the cow dunk while somebody is cheating with your wife . The dressings usually very simple not sure how they get paid before or after the show is aired . Elegant and fancy are reserved for special occasions and purposes only . The very good thing about them is that they don't focus much on lent and Shabbat or anything meant to please the God only ...instead Hallmark channel movies and shows mostly focus on Christmas , Valentine's , and the New York ..without New York they would have nothing to come home to the small town or farming , ranch etc...from .

Most of my favorite , Hindi movies Turkish television shows are now produced by Famous production houses , like Disney , fox star , Warner bros, lionsgate etc

But so far I have not seen any of the regional stuff produced by or in association of the Hallmark channel and studio . Not sure why also not concerned how it has survived the competition for so long and especially now when everything American is being taken over by the Koreans and Chinese as if it was ....ye humarey Abba ka hai ....

Okay my most wanted Hindi movie Tiger zinda hai ( 2017) is on the cable home Cinema ....and mobile needs charging ...my luck has suddenly climbed manifolds ...

4:21 am The most unexpected news this week was the firing of mufti Muneeb ur Rehman Saab the former chairman of All Pakistan except masjid e popalzai Peshawar , Ruet e Hilal Committee .

His differences with the minister of science and technology came to light from the time Mr Fawwad Chaudhary was transfered from the information ministry . It was kind of a very clear demotion . But this Nora kushti of verbal abused and media fight and arguments saved face . Mufti Saab had nothing to lose . He even survived eating a roza fast in Ramzan by declaring Eid a day early very late in the night .

So why now ...what happened ?

Think !

Shiekh Rasheed is what's happened new . He became the interior minister . He can fire almost anybody . So now I have no idea why he fired .for himself or the country or a friend Mr Chaudhry . Option three sounds perfect. Most people just don't like Nora qushti especially when they are not playing . It , controlling the game . So anyways ...

Mufti Saab is now fully gone with no chance of ever getting a face saving pull out . So let's just forget him for good .

New committee was formed headed by the imam of badshahi mosque Lahore .

The most interesting thing is that maybe this was not done by Mr Rasheed the minister but it was an act of God just like his trans fire from the railway then the Act of God is definitely on a hat-trick and you know who could be next.

Fall asleep 😴 before fajr and woke up just a little while ago . Feeling very lazy not sure what to do . Expecting a Chaapa .

12:50 pm Okay so first I ordered the aquafina bottled water , 7up and juice from foodpanda 🐼 Mart

Then I ordered the food for Sunday Brunch ...

Maghaz Nihari and chicken biryani and Naan and Sheermal

Obviously the Doctor Saab and his family will not eat all this stuff ...and clearly after surviving yesterday's new clear test with flying colors ....I am not sure if anybody is sure about anything ...

so what I am saying is that the moment I put the restaurant bags on table

Landline phone rang ...

Oh I almost forget ...our landline was Not busy at all.. all week until the Thursday .

And I have become so careless that I did not even bother to complain .

The cable also goes off for hours but I never bother to complain .

The next time a foodpanda guy tried to play hide and Jack with me ...I will cancel the order . Because they usually does it when I am acting as an agent or the order includes some great food that might be unhealthy for my siblings . Like greasy oil dripping Puri parathas or Desi food with too much fat topping. ..

Anyways ...

So nobody arrived for the Sunday Brunch ...it's really good for me ...I haven't had an empty stomach Sunday for months and may probably not have an empty stomach Sunday till the lent .

1:30 pm okay I can hear sounds from outside the room ..so better go out and greet Doctor Saab and his family ..... should I change first .......no it will be too late ...

Last year The very thanks to

the Corona Pandemic ...my phobia of Chaapa both expected and informed was absolutely crushed .

And thanks to foodpanda 🐼

My family ❤️ fear of Wasiq Kay lian nahi bachay ga ...has also gone evaporated ..now they know that Wasiq aur mangaley ga aur apni pasand ka..THIS is the change that should have come before Trump and not after Trump ..... So today I am testing ...I showed my face ...and helped in setting the table now nobody will disturb me at all . The door is also open ...I will probably join them for cake cutting ....

Very hot and spicy ...it opened my nose . Wow !

Love it ... haven't had such tasty biryani for a very long time .

3:28 pm Yes All Chaapas are now over and table cleaned leftovers kept safely in the fridge and freezer ...will be eaten in the coming meals ...

May the dear merciful Lord All Mighty Allah have mercy on my dearly departed parents Papa and Ammi and may they be blessed by the dear merciful Lord All Mighty Allah and Their Souls may rest in peace in heaven. Amen!

4:36 pm The fajr train 🛐 was distracted by an unknown number prank caller . I ignore the first time but I pick the second time ...it was a wrong no . So anyways ...

I went in the kitchen to wash my tea cup and saw fresh sliced Hera fish in a pot . I almost forget about . No it was not for the lunch thank God !

The story behind it is that when my dear brother bought fish last week for the freezing cold weather predicted ...nobody had change ...so the deal was that either the fishwala will return cash in an hour or leftover pomfret fish at the end of the day ...he did neither ...instead he returned today and brought Hera fish I don't remember what a Hera fish is called in English or Science language ...will edit later $$$

Anyways,

Doctor Saab and his family reached home safely and are very pleased with us for the time being ....

My dearly departed parents

Papa and Ammi 's family may not be a One big Happy family at the moment but they sure are a Big Happy family .

So earlier I decided that if the foodpanda 🐼 rider location savvy tried to deley my hot and spicy or sweet order ..I will cancel it ...have no idea how I will do it ...but after the nose opened after eating the tasty chicken biryani ...I changed my mind and decided that I will play along ...thinking how hard could that be ... actually sometimes when we order from a restaurant at the extreme end of the radius , chances are that a totally unfamiliar with the area rider picks my order from the restaurant and instead of the address he follows the location position on the map which sometimes depend on the mobile and the App and data service provider .

This was going through my mind when my dear brother told me to try this winter non leather jacket ...he picked on the go when he went for the Annual dinner at the high court and saw Cynthia Ritchie or someone just like her ...

The jacket is too tight for me I can't zip it ...made me realize that I should be weight watching and be very particular about my diet . Cancelled Foodpanda 🐼 orders is just not enough ...I must avail every opportunity to fast and skip power lunches and suppers and especially the Engagement announcement free Bakhlava and fried Aloo Samosas .

The extreme spices in the very tasty chicken biryani I eat today for lunch open my nose and melted the mucus in the upper head . So now it is clogging the throat and clearing with wind is not helping ..very irritating . So I need to have a very super cup of hot tea ☕ to clear my throat . Most preferably the lemon green tea .

We are almost about near the maghrib prayer 🛐 break so I will probably make a cup of lemon green tea ☕ after the maghrib prayer with a prayer for my Dearly Departed Parents Papa and Ammi

So today I thought that I will not be able to reach the target three thousand words for this my the Sunday Blog № 248 ( Two Hundred and forty eight ) because of the Chaapas and look here I am almost there before the Sunset

Now only seven minutes left to Sunset all the mucus has accumulated just near the throat because of lying down in bed for the past hour or more so I better get up and also plug the mobile into the charger and gargle and do the wazu as well for the maghrib prayer 🛐 with a prayer for my dearly departed parents Papa and Ammi

Not sure why but the neighborhood is extremely Quiet and Peaceful .

So first I prayed the maghrib prayer 🛐 with a prayer for my dearly departed parents Papa and Ammi

Today we not just pray because it is mandatory or ordained ...today on the first Sunday of the year 2021 we pray to thank the dear merciful Lord All Mighty Allah Amen 🙏 , for everything he gave us and all the things he will give us in the near and distant future.

We Thank the dear merciful Lord All Mighty Allah Amen 🙏 for that he never tests us no matter how much arrogance we show no matter how badly we treat his poor creations

We pray to Thank saving our souls and body from numerous worldly addictions and inflictions.

We pray for the salvation of all the living and the dead .

We pray to thank for the things meant for us , but wrongly delivered elsewhere , stolen and taken to London .

And we especially pray to thank for the food we eat today the Nihari and Biryani

Amen !

So after the maghrib prayer I went to make tea 🍵 but the regular was already made and ready so then I microwave the leftover biryani it was only rice and spice ...the chicken and aloo were gone ...after eating the biryani I said to myself what the hell...so I microwave two tablespoons of Maghaz Nihari and half naan bread

I was surprised to find a small chunk of white piece of the brain in it ...after eating and having tea refills few times I came back to bed . And started updating this my the Sunday Blog№ 248 ( Two Hundred and forty eight) and soon I began to fall asleep ...and within no time I was fast asleep 😴

Woke up around 9:30 pm and had tea ☕ and a Facebook Meetup .

At 10 pm I heard azan ...so I went outside over the wall to hear clearly yes indeed it was the full azan ...maybe there is a mini micro Smart lockdown somewhere near or across the main road ...that I am not aware of ...after the azan stopped there was no sound at all of the loudspeaker ...so it can't be a azan in a jalsa rally or a religious meeting ...it was definitely a Corona Pandemic Covid-19 lockdown Azan .

Anyways

At 10:10 pm I did wazu and prayed 🛐 the final prayer of the day the Isha prayer with a prayer for my dearly departed parents Papa and Ammi

A little while ago I picked the tv remote to check tatli intikam on Urdu1 but all I could find was commercials , on home Cinema channels the movie dekh magar pyar se finished and credits were rolling ...

And on most news channels mariyam Nani was auctioning a scare Crow effigy or something .

You know in my childhood we loved and respected with awe anyone who came from London .. personally I did find them a little weird but still we always considered them better than us or the locals ....

Now that has definitely changed for ever ...you bloody thief ...or just Bloody Thief is how every BT ( British Traveller ) is going to be seen here in Pakistan for ever and there is nothing Your honourable Mr Jinnah can do to undo it .

Well it's not a big deal ...if this Corona Pandemic did not come under control ....in few months most bloody thieves with dual nationality or or of Pakistani origin will pack their bags with all the loot from here and there ...and go somewhere else ..most probably try to return to Pakistan and live anonymously anywhere .

The other option is that HM" s govt confiscate their properties and extradite them without the loot from here and there . Then in few years only those who were left their because they were not caught or extradited may able to remove the lable / tag of BT ...I am not really sure in how many years but it is a possibility as time flies and people have very poor memory .

One thing I am dead sure that if the price of eggs keep rising the way it is right now ...the properties of overseas Pakistani will be confiscated especially of the BT .

Now the million dollar question is ....who the HM"s government side with ?

Oh la la la ...

If Bloody thieves BT s lost their influence and power here they would be worthless for HM"s Government and exchequer .
