Today is the Sunday the 10th of February 2019 the 4th of Jamadi us Sani 1440 H till the Sunset ( 6:23 pm , Karachi ) and this is my the Sunday Blog # 149 ( Hundred and Forty Nine ) .

It is almost half past mid night ( 12:26 am ) on a cool winter night . was trying to finish up the left over movies of the week and there is this one movie an almost classic an adaptation of the Sidney Sheldon Novel from the 90's , Sidney by the way was an American Male writer ...(LOL) yes male like the Sidney Poitier ...the famous Hollywood movie Actor ...well not just like him ...but like like ...i hope you know what the hell i am saying her ...i mean here...

A lot of American kids worldwide born after the SS invasion in the late 90's may think Sidney to be a girls name thanks to the horror sequels the Scream 2,3,4 ...'s Sidney Prescott

. I am not very sure but was it a kind of extremely weird promotional for the generation next to pick up these novels at random . The Psychological insinuation ...Honestly i did not watch this series But if i had watch them in a cinema ...i may have picked up a copy of the novel by Sidney Sheldon on my way out of the cinema at the corner news stand ...instead of the copy of the Scream ...By the way over the years i saw a lot of Sidney Sheldon's Works on the news stands and old books stalls ...don't seem to remember if i saw Scream series in a print form . If it was really a franchise as the wiki says

So , Here i am once again Doing this my the Sunday Blog #149 ( Hundred and forty nine ) on a Sunday morning the room temperature is about 20 degree centigrade or Celsius while outside its hazy , cold at 16 degree , was not very windy when i checked over an hour ago but you know quickly the weather pattern changes here in Karachi the most dangerous city in the world . I am not sure if i should say Luckily or not ...But we did not have a rain or even a drizzle this past week or at least not in my part of the town and city of karachi the most dangerous city in the world . So does this means that the coming Happy Valentines week will be the end of whatever winter that we got to experience here in Karachi the most dangerous city in the world ....The day time temperature remained very high ...throughout the winter season did not leave the double digit at any time of the day and night even after the two very serious spells and concessional drizzles and the mood swings . Honestly i wrote occasional but the spell check here did that ...LOL

And the sad thing is that the CNG crisis is not over yet ...infact it seems to have worsen .

I stayed at home and did not go out for the walks or the bus rides at all . And because of that tonight i am out of most of the junk food and munches and soda . Finished up the last cup of ice cream as well . So now tonight i can only indulge myself with tea, coffee or Hot Chocolate . fried eggs and sandwiches . There is also this amazing home cooked nulli nihari ...but it is frozen and i just don't seem to find the energy to go through the heating up process without the hot market oven Naan Break to go with it .

Amazing thing happened this week after Juma Mubarak Prayers ...i went to the market oven for Naan Bread . Luckily there was no line so i praiseth the Lord All Mighty Allah Amen ! and gave the order ...Suddenly from nowhere the former neighbour appeared and stood right besides me ...Can't say about me but he must have been over hungry that afternoon after juma mubarak prayers because either he did not recognize me or waited for me recognise him ...its just been less than a year since he moved out from the neighbourhood . So all those hello hi's and standing in the way were just because i was his neighbour and now that i am not he wont even recognize me even if we are standing in the line or next to at the market oven . Awesome Dude ...this must have been the first time in the history we were so close and he did not tried to greet or start a conversation . Clearly he is not very happy in the new abode or was too anxious to brag about it but was not ready to ...get over the excitement of seeing me live so close once again ....you know the small world effect is not always easy to get over with on a empty stomach .

After i survived the first three minutes of this freezing of relations ...i begin to pray that his order comes before me as i needed to go in the very next shop as well and i did not want to bump into him again in the market . Somehow exactly that happened he left and i got relaxed . This market oven is right next to the jalebi corner where i have very interesting childhood memories of after juma mubarak meetups with distant relatives . I am so sure i may have mentioned once or more in some previous Sunday Blogs . I am still not sure why somebody thought i would open up and share all my deep thoughts at the very spot and why him ? LOL

By the way did i mention that his temporary replacement also retired last week and moving out . Somehow i am so glad that i survived not making his acquaintance because he tried a very negative approach . In Football ( soccer) terms it may be called a tackle Image result for soccer tackle gif

With him being in the car and me being on the foot and sometimes with the heavy shopping bags .
So i guess is that whoever lives in that house on the corner has a great opportunity to change my mood before i enter mine so that getting in i may scream and shout or at least speak out loud and that can be used against me in a tennis court . The street theater or my free entertainment has been facing one glitch after the other and has clearly fallen into disarray . Still today they did some really cool that will get them a mention with pleasure .

These days when there was not extra space available after the regular cars of the neighbours , One neighbour is having too many visitors with mostly the vigo trucks and armed police guards and private security so imagine the situation in which their drivers and police guards are right now .

12:09 pm Hazy sky and somebody in the neighbourhood feeding the eagles ...no wind and less sunny ...should have gone out for a little walk but the Brunch is already ready 💐🌹🌹

Okay i had a very undisturbed sleep since fajr probably due to the heavy sehri without a fast i did early ...and believe it or not they have not had the breakfast yet so both my siblings are quickly getting the brunch ready ...I locked my self in here so that i may not eat and fall asleep ...but sooner or later i will have to get out of the room and then and there i will smell the fresh roti and Nulli Nihari ...and will be eaten up by the Dragon of gluttony Ha Ha HA ......
I can't waste another minute now because its almost half past the noon on Sunday and this my the Sunday Blog # 149 ( Hundred and forty nine ) is less then two thousand words ...that is just fifteen or sixteen hundred words in twelve hours so you cannot expect a six or a five thousand words blog today ....I would be very glad if i did a three thousand plus words by ten pm tonight .
The main reason of this slow pace is not over eating or the chill outside ...inside i am as good as new and should have been at two thousand plus words to begin with after the morning sleep and should also have brought the special sunday paya breakfast from saddar bus ride to food street of Burns road ...even though we have a very special home cooked nulli nihari cooked by an Ulcerous patient who have been on a Oats meals for over two weeks ....and medicines ...two weeks is a very long time and anybody can become suicidal ...we cannot blame him especially in a season like this ....More serious patients goes to weddings and parties in this season to eat the deadly food and die ....
Anyways , so as i was saying the word count is very low this morning and still is this afternoon not because its cold or i have eaten too much ....But its the Stockholm syndrome the fairytale people have again used my dear little sister as a human shield .....and because of that i have to impose a self censorship upon the free flow of words in this my the Sunday Blog # 149 ( Hundred and forty nine ) . We all Thought that it was all over last week after she( little sister) and other siblings got their share from the share of Ammi ( May her soul rest in peace in heaven Amen !) in the very Poor and miserable deceased and long gone Grand Parents House as promised by the Uncle and Aunt from overseas after the sale of the property ...and i even wish the Memon Bachi who have or will eventually have and to hold the said property , ALL THE BEST ...and CONGRATULATIONS !!
But gradually i am learning that, that was just Ammi's share as promised by the Uncle from overseas ....and the banker uncle saved a little chunk from that share just in case PAPA ( May His soul rest in peace in heaven Amen !) or the clan drop by or pay a surprise visit to him in his dream and wake him up just like that ....in some unknown place .

The Plot thickens here ....He ( the Banker Uncle ) had stashed it so safe that we could not have got it in a million years ,,,but Seattle freezes over ....

And you know how our very dear Aunt hates the freeze and the jams ....So here we are ...going to the Same Old Court again ....the little Sister was an easy catch as usual because of her Stockholm syndrome ....I am not really sure how long i can dream on and survive this push this time ....LOL

The said part is ....okay may be later ....LOL

Ahhh... finally i feel so off my chest ....Now i can go out and have a cup of tea or coffee ...I haven't tried the coffee mate yet,i bought at the beginning of the season ....also need to test the coffee shaker and mug my dear little sister gave me for my Happy Birthday last year ....

Here in karachi , the most dangerous city in the world, We have Monday , Tuesday and Wednesday as the meatless days ...In the Old day When Pir Saab Pagaro was alive those were the main days ....the Fun days ....But passed away and the Lyari came in the way of the CPEC so ...people are forgetting about the meatless days of Karachi , the Most dangerous city in the world . Beside these Super Marts and Frozen Food shops opening up on Zamama and elsewhere ...fresh meat is now a very rare ...thing ...except for the very poor and downtrodden homeless charity cases ...People here facing a real hardship and obstacle usually sacrifice a goat or a sheep and send it to Multinational organisations where the meat is cooked daily and fed to the poor people . Sometimes it is so hard to walk past such a place . But we do .
The Rich people who can afford the meat Usually eat chicken or Buy frozen and put it back in their deep freezers for later ...My problem is that if i bring meat and keep it in the freezer ...it will be cooked ...and then i will have to eat it as it is cooked ...I never really learned to cook . well i do know and am familiar with the mutton and beef dishes but i cannot really do it the way it should be and definitely the way i wanted it to be . and if you buy it from a cheap roadside restaurant or dhabba as the Americans like to call it ...its still two to three time sometimes even four times more expensive and definitely un hygienic . And we can never be sure of the Meat , Mutton and beef they are using is actually Halal . Fit for Parosan's Consumption there fore here i am absolutely undecided whether to go out to the Butcher's shop today or let it go this week and have chickens and eggs or non veg for a change . Its Valentines too and all eyes will be on me and my food pictures ...and if i post something below the belt ...i have no idea how the different quarters will react . The Jacobabad Police seems relaxed today having a castling with four chairs at the gate . and occasional tea times ...

BUT GUNS are Still GUNS , you can never TRUST them ....

Okay the street activity has suddenly increased and the kitchen activity has gone even higher ....just from the sounds of it i can tell that its time to take an early break ...trust me ...its better that way then sitting here just guessing whats going on and be latter told what we missed .
The Problem with Asr prayer time is that the Azans start much earlier in some non commercial mosques much before the azan in the digital azan clock or the market mosque ...so sometimes and especially during the sleep i do get up that its time and then find out that there is still an hour or more to go ....Who said Finding the dear All Mighty Allah Amen ! and then making him happy all the time is so easy . You have to be on the toes and be cautious all day and sometimes even during the night ...
So before i go and take a Break where i cannot avoid the food already on the table ...I want to say that Quite Often we hear the Non Believer or the unsure and distracted ask why he never respond ?

Well I ask ? have you ever seen a grass sprout ?

New grass comes up, then dies. Why?

If you have a okay friday and good saturday ...then it really does not matter how your Sunday went . And ever since i have started this my the Sunday Blog ging ...i really don't feel like wasting time going out or shopping and even eating a lot ...you have all week for that . we have all week for that ...Still when ever i am required to do some errand or chores around the house or even the facebook meetup ...i am always available no matter how much time i lose doing that still i am sure that as this chilly wind stops and the lent begins ...i will regularly go to the Mosque and market even if it is just once a day for as long as i can . I have done that in the past and i will start doing it again . It makes absolutely no difference to me who owns the Town or Who believes to own . I was born here and will probably die here and in the mean time i will live as much as could ...Okay so this brings us to the million dollar question ....

If Star crossed is usually used for Lovers ...who were made for each other, But so can we say Stars Spangled for equal and opposites Together ? Always and Forever ...

Actually i never plan the last hours and that is how i have reached the 150 . So hopefully now i will try to get organised But what's the point ? I did great today much better than i had expected much better than i had hoped and so much better than i wished ...an hour to go and the race already seems to be over ...

Three years of continuous and perpetual Sundays no breaks is an awfully amazing feat ...don't you think ...it is so much better than continuously flying over my head with a sound like a mosquito and wasting so much trump dollars ...

Anyways ...talking of Money it is great that i am getting some money in inheritance from my poor and miserable grand parents ...it is not much to buy a immovable property but it is enough for me at the moment . Now i can have a smart phone of my own with better apps , Also i can have two laptops instead of one so i wont have to worry what will happen if one did not work when i need it the most . Also in the heat of karachi the most dangerous city in the world . now i can have two air conditioners when i had none ...and last but not the least ( no idea what this means and why it is said so ) ...
I can have three kabab rolls instead of two ....
I am sure somebody will object to it ...so i may have it with a larger soda and icecream .

My grand parents and i were not very close ...the grand father whom we all called mian jee and his house Mian kay Han ...I remember it was common these days because there was a famous weekly radio show every Sunday called "Hamid Mian kay Han ..." definitely not inspired by his house . As far as i can remember he had lost his vision maybe before my birth or very soon after ...i do not recall

I also remember that when we went there i used to go and introduce my self to him . He did remember my name and gave me the candy from his bed side things . I always loved it and was always glad to see him and how he worked his way around his things without watching .

The grand mother who was called Apa Bi ...was just thirteen years older than my dearly departed Ammi ( may her soul rest in peace in Heaven Amen ! ) She knew me much better than Mian jee ...I am not really sure if she like me or not but i did spend a lot of time at her home and with her too . The thing i will never forget about her was that she had this really large page Quran and she used to recite with so much enthusiasm and zeal that tears used to roll out of her eyes . Have really missed her a lot even when she was bed riddened . I wish it was them praying for me instead of me praying for them tonight . Amen !

Okay the time is up and i am not really sure if i will be able to post it now after the power breakdown and return so lets not take a chance here ...
