The Sunday Blog # 136

Today is the Sunday the 11th of November 2018 , The 2nd of Rabi ul Awwal 1440 till the Sunset ( 5:46 pm , Karachi ) and this is my the Sunday Blog # 136 ( Hundred and thirty six .

So First of All a very Happy Rabi ul Awwal 1440 to All . This is a nauchandi ( New Moon ) ka Sunday Blog so i thought it would be best that i wish everybody a Happy Rabi ul Awwal 1440 first and then go on with the rambling and the rant . The Good thing is that whatever i ramble or rant in this my the Sunday Blog # 136 ( Hundred and thirty Six ) will be absolutely ignored because everybody in the world who could have read this my the Sunday Blog # 136 ( Hundred and thirty six ) this week is so busy this coming week to even hit the link and give it a look or browse through . No No its not the Black Friday this week don't you worry you haven't missed it yet again ....

even though the aulad and agents of you know who are already painting the town with their bright ideas to put everybody to shame ....The Sad thing is that going online shopping will not reduce the traffic congestion in this most dangerous city in the world and will definitely increase the hazards of traffic accidents because rush and hurry of this army of delivery boys aged between 16 to 65 . driving motor bikes and delivery vans very dangerously especially the motor cycles carrying excess baggage

The other day this past week the main roads were blocked in my town the Jamshed town of karachi the most dangerous city in the world and without going out even on the street i realised that they were closed for traffic permanently not just a traffic jam ....or slow moving as our very dear Sindh Police 88.6 FM likes to call it ...How ? well obviously the traffic on my street grew manifolds and it kept growing from a very early morning till the time i usually wakes up . and the majority of the vehicles were these delivery people on motor bikes and van going like crazy ...

 Oh by the way one more such a day is coming in the week ahead ....The Sindh Police 88.6 FM has already warned about it . The Eighth of Rabi ul Awwal which is probably on the next Saturday

It is the day before the Minority Community celebrate and party so they city administration and law enforcement agencies closes down , shut down and block major access routes to the markets . Creating a divide is always good for the dhanda ...you know ...LOL

 By the way we don't believe in either of the two celebrations of eighth and Nineth so it will be just as usual for me . Eating and sleeping on the eighth and this my the Sunday Blog # 137 ( Hundred and Thirty Seven ) on the Nineth . The twelfth will come on the Wednesday the twenty first so coming next two sunday blogs will cover that at length insha Allah Amen ! like what i wanted to hear and see and what and how the Sindh Police 88.6 Fm Played .... I don't know if its human rights or the psychology of Political science ...both my favorite subjects but it seems that the law enforcement agencies and city administration are a little less tense on the 12th of Rabi ul Awwal then they are on the Minority Community celebrations or festivals . The tens , the thirty's the forty's and beyond . It clearly seems that they are a bit enjoying themselves with the greens and the maroons and absolutely dread the Blacks .

Even when the green goes ugly ...

    So anyways ....The holy Month of Rabi ul Awwal is here ...it is month of great blessings , good food , parties , weddings and less shopping nothing as wasteful as the Christmas or  ....okay never mind !!

Okay I don't really know about the rest of the family or the neighbours But here in our kitchen the First day of the blessed holy month of the Rabi ul Awwal was really celebrated with fervor and zeal ....no idea what that means but here is a glimpse of all the glams all day  

 Honestly i ate so much today that falling asleep after isha prayers till the midnight was the easiest today . Had dinner soon after the isha prayer and had isha prayer with a azan of Isha which was at around 7:15 pm . Had dinner by 7:30 pm . Watched television and chatted with the siblings and then went to bed . Tried to re watch the last movie of the week off the Grid ( 2014) which i rated as turkey 3 stars . the very interesting thing is that on the IMDB web site it had only 6 votes before me that is i am the seventh person to vote . And probably because of this low voting they even mentioned the number of votes under the rating ...which was 8 stars with 6 votes ....one person voted 1 stars and the five voted 10 must be the produces or actors agents ....and when i voted 3 stars which i usually do for a Turkey which is either very bad or beyond me ..., the total average rating became 7.7 /10 stars .

Confused ? so was i.. so that is why i tried to watch it again still couldn't make a heads or the tails of it  ...Sad because it has so many good looking actors especially the females in it ...anyways

OKay time for a short break .....

3:57 am Okay i am back ....had a little more of what i had for dinner from the left overs ....and a cup of tea Also the prized part of this break was An Orange ....the one with a head and a tail .....the as my dearly departed Ammi ( May Her soul rest in peace in heaven Amen ! ) used to say ...paisa dekh kay leyna kis pey paisa bana ho woh mosambi hoti hai warna malta hota hai ....okay never mind the google trans late ...it will never be able to translate what i say so here it is ...." do watch for the coin mark on the orange . The one that has it is sweet mosambi orange and the one that does not is a sour malta orange . So the one i had just now had that coin mark below and even though it was an early bird probably taken off the tree very raw and riped artificially so it did not have the orange color yet but inside it is a little raw both in colour and taste but sweet  not at all sour . 

 So this means that my patience after the  mango season paid off ....Even though we have been so blessed this year to have pomegranate Kandahari of the best quality and the apples and banana ....at a very affordable price after the mangoes season but you cannot feel right until you have oranges sweet and juicy to eat and drink anytime of the day . Bye Bye Cuppy Pulpy orange bottled juice ....now i'll have the fresh oranges and especially the kino or kinnow orange which is very orange infact more orange than an orange ...both sweet and sour but never bitter ...and very soft from the inside out meaning you can peel it with hand very easily without hurting the nails or winter skin and eat it on the go or watching the birds . It is usually cheaper than the other oranges and fruits of the season therefore becomes an instant hit among the rich and the poor . But this year as there  is a war going on between the north and the south of punjab and all the farm products are expensive chances are that this fruit may also be under great pressures all season . Also i am not sure if the smog in eastern punjab will or will not affect the kino or kinnow orange crop this year . I am so looking forward to welcoming the good and cheap kino oranges very soon because it is the only fruit which gives a very Pakistani feel when you touch it .....Aye mandarin pakistani aay ....ay mandarin Pakistani aay ....Ballay Ballay Ballay !!!!

Okay soon it will be the fajr prayer azan time ....and a few minutes after that ...so i guess i have about almost an hour left for the rambling ....i don't see any reason for the rant here today especially after eating what i have been eating and what i expect to eat today and in the coming week ...Living right in the middle of every where ....it is quite unbelievable how my life and thoughts are so different from the normal hard working honest or corrupt people of karachi the most dangerous city in the world .
The past week has been very tough for the Karachi police and city government's extremely corrupt officials  because of the Anti - Encroachment drive or campaign in almost every town and cantonment area . Infact the operation in towns away from the cantonment areas like our jamshsed town has just been cosmetic or superficial. But people especially the shop keepers and kerb stands and vendors are really very scared for the first time . The Media and social media is spreading the word so vehemently that the mothers and fathers of builders have started protesting and praying. It will be a real sight to see how they clear the mess in case they decided to in one of the most rapidly growing illegal area of Karachi here in my neighbourhood of Tariq Road . The News says that some cosmatic operation was done in parts of tariq road but unfortunately it could not see it yesterday when i went out shopping . Must be somewhere out of my way or maybe they were expecting me somewhere else can't say ....and don't want to say either because this time i so want to keep myself out of the equation and enjoy the game .

Oh by the way there is a twitter video viral of the imtiaz super store recently open ed near me ...where this Anti - encroachment drive paid a visit ....yesterday after sunset ...working day and night ....wow .

at mid night tonight the KMC was believed to be getting ready to re start the operation in Saddar empress market . So far they have been only able to clear up to the pre - Zia  era ...now the Government of MQM is probably trying to restore the Beauty of the British era Empress Market to the pre Bhutto era ....

I have wasted so much time on research otherwise i would have reached the two thousand words mark on the words counter for this my the Sunday Blog # 136 ( hundred and thirty six ) by now ...anyways
So my view of this cosmatic Anti encroachment drive or campaign or operation is that this has been going on since the time immemorial especially in the cantonment areas and saddar ....not sure if it is a cantonment area or not any more because in my childhood it was ...and ever since i stopped visiting saddar during the musha rraf  era or soon after ...they cut the bus route from my area so now i have absolutely no idea about the area and who is the kosem sultan there ...but in general if you ask me there is absolutely no point in taking away the cart and stands and stalls from the road and the kerbs to clean and clear the way and leave the owners to protest and pay up and then re start the enchroachments ...they should be arrested and punished by a court of law for this heinous crime . if it is a crime by law ....is it ?

 The rumour is that most of the encrochers on the main market areas are the karachi police or their licensed people that is why they are so eager to pick their carts and stalls away to the police stations from where it is released and comes back in the business ....the Karachi encrochment eco-system .  So if we are really serious about the ending of this rapidly growing menace we will have to focus on the people who do it rather than the movable property . Arrest and imprisonment will and can only make it clear to the poor people that this is a crime and a very heinous one as well to land grab and Block the way and traffic disturb the peace of the city and when confronted to protest and block both the traffic and business of the traders of the market who are there legally and with proper permissions from the government of MQM and not just a local police station who collects the bhatta of rs two hundred each from a cart and stall daily or weekly or whatever and never gives any letter or proper document which can be used in case to prove the right of doing business in such a fashion in such a place .

Okay i am getting late for the fajr prayer so here i take a break with a prayer for my dearly departed parents Papa and Ammi

11:28 am The short but timely electric power shutdown woke everyone up and the kitchen activity woke me up ....so i am up before noon today when i was expecting to get up at zuhr ....anyway ....Brunch is heavy and i cannot decide to eat or  not to

okay so winter is not coming but the media is showing all kinds of winter up north and south west of the country and the highways and roads closed due to snow fall and rain fall and free fall ....is all we have here ....it seems that all my rose plants have dried up or died the good thing is that i never plant them in the ground because thanks to the builder mafia now our garden does not have sunlight so when they die we replace them with the new ones .....sadly last years purchased plants all died during the almost heat wave of karachi the most dangerous city in the world ...the one remaining till last week when they were cared for by trimming the dead and infected branches with canker and later the manure from the donkey cart ....and not to mention we had plenty of water last week ...so i am not really sure what actually killed them but the thing that is killing me here is the chilly weather and burning Sun all day long ....yes probably  that is it with the rose plants as well ...anyways they are dead so there wont be a rose this thanks giving or the Christmas that's for sure ....and who knows maybe for the valentine as well ....last year on the eve of st valentines i was so surprised to see two new plants with fully bloomed roses in the garden ....don't know why the roaming nursery push cart vendor brought them for half the price he usually ask for ....anyways his roses never live long and usually we keep them away from my rose plants ....these rose plants survived four years they were brought for the APHA Nursery in gulistan e johar . the encroachment drive is in full force there so i am not sure if that nursery will survive or not ...most nurseries here on the islands were removed many years ago now there is only one left in the former Ayesha aziz park on kashmir road ...don't think it could survive either ....none of the nurseries here in jamshed town kept good un infected rose plants anyways ...so no love lost there ....

Okay its over five hundred words since somebody went to the market oven for Naan bread ...if i had gone to the market oven instead we would have had eaten by now ....LOL

OKay because of the tie breaker today of the Pak vs NZ ODI series the media is creating excitement by the encroachment drive ....news ...it seems like the Mayor of gothem city is on the loose ....for a day or two the media also tried to play the farooq sattar card ...and mujhey keun nikala after they heard the Chief Justice remark about Islamabad High court suspension of NAB sentences ....for the Sicilian mafia on NAB appeal . SO with IMAM out of today's game it could be anybody's game and seems like not an easy series for the majestic sarfaraz Saab the skipper under too much pressure ....So today i an not saying that i will finish this my the sunday Blog # 136 ( Hundred and thirty six ) early because of the game the 3rd and final ODI of the Pak vs NZ series . and its a long match and will probably know how it will end by the dinner time .
okay this reminds me that we have the Naan Bread from the market oven ....fully garnished with the property Sold same old story i have been eating most of my take away meals and stopped having Haji tikka BBQ take away meals since my dearly departed Ammi ( May her soul rest in peace in heaven Amen ! )
passed away four and a half years ago .....May the dear merciful lord All Mighty Allah Amen ! keep  and protect and conserve these mutual friends roaming around the eateries and butcher shops to download a new file season after season and making my life and meals interesting ...Kasm se iss dafa toh eveybody has vacated and moved .......aap ko nahein pata ...hum bata ta houn ....mamoo ney dubai ka ticket deyne ka wada kiya hai ....aap nahein bhi poncho gay toh apun baatay gaa ....And make sure Wasiq hears this warna ticket kay paisay khud bharna per jain gay .....

So now i have to decide whether i can eat the hot garma garam naan bread with home cooked nulli nihari or lock my door and sleep peacefully .

Been trying so hard to stay up ...
So for the next five hundred words i will ramble about the recent midterm trumplections 2018 .

Unlike many other democracies of the world where there is a parliamentary democracy here in the US we have the Veto Power and Russia Power stay in power for a maximum term in office and the white house by the President who is elected after every four years and re elected after four years again so totally if you were to die at forty kind of citizen of the world not just the united states or a jew from the middle east who is always at the risk ....then you will only get to live under three or four presidents at the most ....I missed Kennedy and will always regret that ...not that i could have saved him from the vacuum cleaner...( our first vacuum cleaner was named Hoover LOL) .
President carter was actually the first president  of the united states of America me and my dearly departed Grand Mother Amma Bi ( May her soul rest in peace in Heaven Amen ! ) sworn in Color on our first color PYE television

We both loved peanuts and did not have the food allergy most Americans of the British origin developed during his tenure or term in office ...It was much later in my life that i found out about the cartoon characters of peanuts . LOL
After that it was the difficult times for me ...as my dear grand mother had passed away in the Summer holidays ...and our PYE color was not getting along well with the paternal family ...it was a bit heavy to lift so the repair guy used to come and repair at home ...i used to watch him in awe and decide to learn about repairing one day when i grow up ....Anyways the Military regime and a very distant first cousin of Papa ( may his soul rest in peace in heaven Amen ! ) and her whole family use to gate crash every other night and made it almost difficult for me to keep an eye on the recent developments in the US elections and that is how President Reagan and Nancy got into the white house and stayed hosting the Russians . and signed treaties and got re elected very easily . Shame our hoover had gone out of order and was lying as a junk in the store room .

Before the end of the Reagan second term i had been introduced to the Commodore Business Machines Vic 20 and IBM XT 286 ...was so out of wack that if they had not brought in the Saddam ....and CNN ...i may have lost it altogether ...so in came a record third republican term by the face mask of President Bush G.H.W and Husband of Barbara Bush ....By that time the era of PYE color was absolutely over and we had a National colour televison . and a sony colour televison ...the military dictatorship was almost over RIP and the uninvited gate crashers at night were very reserved would only come on invitation and i am sure used to check first before even leaving their house if the noori darwaza relatives of Ammi ( may her soul rest in peace in Heaven Amen ! ) were invited or not . Even Years later no decades later when they came to one of Papa's ( May his soul rest in peace in heaven Amen !) post funeral functions they came while i was rolling up the carpets and rugs ...LOL

So anyways No actually i really don't remember how Mr Clinton got the DNC nomination or who was his runner up in the race ....I think it was that rich guy who was making america crazy the Texan don't remember or if he was in this race or some later ... After the three republican terms President Clinton and Hillary Diane Rodham Clinton seems perfect to roost in the whitehouse while the DOD and Pentagon tried their luck undisturbed ....

So they got their two terms with no major problem except they turned the taleban against the Pakistan . I am sure their intentions were good but still we did not like it . and got even by electing the sponsor and donor and long time friend the current President Trump . I really don't think Mrs Clinton will be strong enough to try again in the 2020 election ....can she ?

the other news is about the food chain restaurant the always up for cheap publicity or maybe some sas bahu serial ....yes two kids are reported to have died after eating at the zamazama  clifton 's Arizona grill ...and their mother Ayesha is under observation at a private hospital ...and they are the residents of the creek vista ....and just before dying the kids had fun at the chunky monkey nearby ....so

9:03 pm Door bell ringing we have a chaapa ....Thank God the All Mighty Allah Amen ! that i took this break and had the facebook meet up ....somebody pointed out the few spelling mistakes but showed only one and i have corrected it ....now i will have to wake up at three am and review and edit this my the Sunday Blog # 136 ( Hundred and thirty Six ) ....it is already so long that i cannot read or review it on the Mobile Phone ....after two thousand words the vision goes blared and i cannot go on ....and my life schedule is so tight that once i miss something that long it is very difficult to get back to it ....You cannot imagine how i have been shutting up and down ...right and left to continue this my the Sunday Blogs-- for so long and still going on .... in few months i may be completing the third year .....so i need to relax and ignore this chaapa ....absolutely ....

Okay so let get back on the track and move to the movies of the week ....Once again the food remained hectic so there was more sleep and less movies . the political activities and cricket matches made us watch more television then we usually do ...the Hindi soaps serials which were totally pull away from the televison and replaced with the turkish and english productions were mostly re runs so could not attract my attention . The two hindi soaps that we used to watch on the Urdu1 tv channel are becoming harder to watch on the net . So now i have decided to watch only one Kulfi ....which is still maintaining the suspense and thrill ....Krishna chali london ....reminded me of an old Hindi serial of star plus ...

that was so popular and wnen i said it reminds me of it nobody remembered it so i have to google search it and then i told them and they all remembered it and believed it too . I believe i mentioned it in my Sunday Blogs as well ....any ways its star and jan Mr Anupam Shyam  The Infamous Thakur Sajjan Singh ....has been air dropped as a Star cast not just as a guest appearence ....meaning the Viewers discretion advised so of ten repeated for that show krishna chali london ... takes a new bound .....LOL

So you can understand that why i never remembered the ending of the pratigya show ....Anyways .....so lets see what i watched before sleeping and if i was reallty watching the dreams that the dream machine would like me to be watching .....or could have been watching after falling asleep watching these movies ....
Honestly i can take a break here and greet the chaapa ....but then if they are on a mission ...i don't really want to disturb it ....LOL

The Secrets of Comfort House (2006)Rated 4 stars ....just checking the female lead and discover that the television drama series from my previous life has a second life yes i am talking about the unforgettable Twin Peaks ....

will definitely check it out very soon .....even though i don't really remember the whole story but i am sure that does not really matters any more because now there is a very bleak chance of both feds and county elected being any more interested in me ...soon we will both be strangers to each other ...i had no idea this would happen so soon in my  life ....But Allah the All Mighty is So Great ...we cannot even imagine ...Amen !  Coming back to the movie ...okay i am too excited at the moment to even remember what it was about ...okay i believe it was a bad cop good cop kinda movie ...never mind ...okay no it was that real estate story yes i remember now ...the kid who took out the memory card from the digital camera ...ya ya ...i remember now ...and i rated it 4 stars ... Why ? LOL

Final Assignment (1980)Rated 6 stars good one from the past ...liked it even though there are many johnny english type things to replace and take away the fun from these old classics ...Okay let me say it again ....LOL I Do ! LOL

Now there is  not much time left for a short break ...the chaapa is over ... Thank God the All Mighty Allah Amen ! now i can move around freely and open the locked door ...as if i was moving around freely ....since i promised to only focus on team Pakistan today till the game is over so ....lets just ignore the chaapa ...and let them do whatever they think is best for them ....LOL

So while i was away reviewing the movies and free entertainment of the week ...the game took a very unbelievable turn ...it started to rain ...yes a real hard rain not just the drizzle ...in the @##$%^&* desert of UAE ... it not good ...not good ...rain is never ever good for team Pakistan .....OH MY GOD ......the dear Lord ...the All Mighty Allah ....the Amen ! .....

my thoughts are so distorted right now that i can not think of topic to take this my the Sunday Blog # 136 ( Hundred and thirty six ) to a six thousand Words on the words counter close . But anyways since there is still time almost half an hour then i can try something ....

Okay the thing i did wanted to mention in this my the Sunday Blog # 136 ( Hundred and thirty six ) is that despite a very viral atmosphere every where all around in this city ...me and my siblings remaind free from it some how ....No i did not catch cold or flu or even the bacteria not from the mosque not from people in the neighbourhood especially the spitting breed of neighbours help or the sindh police sponsored vendors and cart pushers ....But what is the most unbelievable is that we did not even catch cold or flu from the mosquitoes and other germ carrying insects and rodents and cats and birds as well ....So what is the reason behind it ....Is it Possible that my Dear Uncle gone in the witness protection program two weeks ago is watching over us ...is it even possible to do so ....? and even if it is why would he do it for me especially .? Anyways this was also a very sad week without him . The Heart and mind is still not been able to fully realise and accept that he is truly gone for ever .... May he stay happy and healthy where ever he is and keep missing us and especially me the way we miss him and will miss him for ever ....

okay so now its time to choose the song video This week i heard a song lying in bed on the FM channel switching and surfing so i really don't remember which channel it was ...but i believe that they all get the same play list from the you know who so maybe somebody else heard it on the other channel and i heard it on some other really makes no difference ...the thing is that the tune and lyrics were catchy and i remembered it and search it and found multiple videos that go along with the same song ....one has the real people most probably the singers or the models and the other one has animations ...both are good so today i will post both of them here and the readers decide which one is cooler ...because i cannot decide or don't want to decide ....Its been a great wall of time since i came back to the FM radio and began to enjoy it once again ... I have really no idea why in the world did i stopped listening to the FM channels ...I believe it was the same time i stopped walking the long walks and the walks at the beach ...It is very useless to say if i got scared or was it a white protest from me for unnecessary interference in my life by the so called well wishers ....one by one each and every one of my so called well wishers are taking a hike and so very soon i will be left in this world on the mercy of the dear Lord All Mighty Allah Amen ! It will be very different from the time i came in this world ...I had so many real people and probably some Angels as well to look after me and save me from clear and present dangers and hazards ....and when the time comes the cradle will fall ....so this is a real great time for me . I am really enjoying it . And who knows may be we may have a really good social justice system here in the most dangerous city in the world Karachi . where people does not need well wishers at all ...Because the system is so good and just that everybody feels safe and happy ...Insha Allah Amen !
