Good Morning 🌹

I fall asleep just few minutes after the midnight and continuously sleep till 6 am hurriedly got up and prayed in the very last minute before sunrise 6:10 am

Weather is amazing my feet are cold and there is actually no need for the cooling ... awesome mausam all week had the best rain and thunder of the year for two days ...our garden tub is completely filled and overflowing...my rose plants got new leaves and flowers ..for some deficiency they are not flowering like they should but I am happy with new leaves and branches. This year I started rose plant propagation...it's not easy and quick in Karachi weather..which is especially hot this year due to heat waves. Cutting off a rose 🌹 plant branch just like that and replanting in a pot of soil or ground was just not working . So I started using the empty bottles of 7 up smallest size 375 ml cutting off the base and putting it upside-down on a fast growing branch of the rose plant and filling it with soil making sure that the soil does not fall down especially when I water . Some branches are strong enough to hold the weight of bottled soil ..but it is better to give it a support. Usually it gets roots and new leaves in a week or two...when I can cut off the branch and plant it in a small pot . First I tried by removing the bottle....but it usually breaks the tiny roots so now I am planting it with the bottle ...so far the process has 50% success rate...but as they used to say in my childhood ..

" If one man gets out it's a victory..."

Okay I have the water pump check request now so I have to take a break ...

The propagation...usually most of my rose 🌹 plants do not survive the extreme heatwave of the Karachi summers and me and my sister buy new plants in the season with big bright colourful roses ...but this year thanks to this propagation strategy...not only I have few new pots ready but also I have saved few from last year...enough to get an occasional rose🌹 flower to make my day.

With too much blessing and rain and cool weather I was able to eat mangoes again....during the rain....rain water washed mangoes 🥭

Since it is the end of the season ...most of the good ones are finished..... among the

Ones available at our mosque market are ripe yellow only from the outside...when you cut it it's raw white as a plastic.... tasteless.....thanks to the restless farmers....or maybe the highway heist.....of the containers bound for export.....anything is possible...after the cloud burst washed away families and villages....in upper northern areas leaving behind only the Gold , cash and guns.....

It's a @#$_&- treasure hunt..., pardon my french..,

The most amazing hurricane this week named "Erin " not only missed the cayman island but also Miami ....👴baba biryani wali sarkar ki jai ho...💨

But as everything this year is upsized due to the global boycott.....this hurricane Erin also got bigger as it moved on towards Canada and Greenland

Making waves on the naked beaches of Eastern US from NC to NYC...the pictures from space are really amazing....

But please don't blame me if another hurricane starts from the otherside and bashes Tampa in the coming days...as usual. This has definitely nothing to do with them Not helping theirs recently...it's just nature

Ah ...we finally have tap water in the kitchen.....we had a tap water crisis this week ...the water supply was limited due to rain and power Shutdown the six days a week was reduced to 3 days or less.....storage tank is ancient and useless...and I am skulking...

The water that has come today will probably only ..hardly last till fajr 🛐 tomorrow....it's kind of a hand to mouth kinda situation could probably get better if we have no power Shutdown in the coming week at water pump time .....

Have to check the boiling eggs

5:19 pm I was sleeping soundly till 3 pm ...when suddenly I woke up with a sound of motor ...I thought it was the gas company digging for rain pothole ...but it turned out to be a chain saw cutting an old tree....

The sound is still coming but now that I know ...what and where ...I don't really care.

The Asr Azan has started ...

So it's time to pray Asr Prayer 🛐

with a prayer for my dearly departed parents Papa and Ammi and the Recently Departed Aslam Bhai

May the dear merciful Lord All Mighty Allah have mercy on my dearly departed parents Papa and Ammi and may they be blessed by the dear merciful Lord All Mighty Allah and Their Souls may rest in peace in heaven. Amen!
