This was undoubtedly a very different week from the fasting weeks...and days...but the regular routine of the three meals was not achieved.

Pope Francis died on Easter Monday...chef Zakir also died the same day . He was just 58 and a Qurashi he was probably the slimmest chef on Masala tv  especially slimmer than most female chefs and experts . I was really shocked to hear of his death. It's not that I was a fan or something...or regularly watched his cooking shows . I only thought him to be healthy. But you never know . 

Pope was finally buried Saturday afternoon...after huge funeral attended by about 250,000 people and President Trump. 

Trump meet Zelensky once again ...they had a very close head to head discussion.Very Surprising indeed ! 

Trump was seen gossiping with Obama at jimmy's funeral...must be some kind of gimmick suggested by The blond league...

Sindh province Lawyers and nationalist tried to bring The Great Punjab to a standstill before the Bakra Eid. They blocked the main highway. Motorway ... railroad and the dirt tracks for the traffic especially the inter province buses , coaches and goods trucks. The main focus being to prevent the movement of cows from Punjab and the bordering indian states...

Every year before Bakra Eid... skirmish between the border security forces is reported...this year there is none... Yet. 

But Sindh police and rangers are doing their best to help the people of Karachi perform this religious obligation with same fervor and zeal. Still a sharp 50% decrease can be projected due to inflation , extreme weather, USAID suspension, and of course the border tension. 

As seen in the movies , the canal issue is related to the Corporate farming ...and the Corporate world ( Non Local) believes in action not the Rhetoric like PPP or isi 

An incident in Pahalgam , Jammu state forced Delhi to retaliate and suspend the Indus  water treaty of 19th September 1960 ( Karachi) 

Initially Islamabad thought that by suspending the treaty , India wants to stop the water of the three western rivers ...which it might do eventually if the climate change allowed. At the moment they opened up the dams and caused the pre monsoon flood like situation ...if this flood like reached Guddu barrage in kashmore in few days ...the Sit ins will run for their lives ...and corporate farming will win the game . 

We had a very late lunch yesterday evening....so we skipped the dinner ...and I fall asleep so I skipped the supper as well ...so now I will probably have these kababs for Sehri or brunch ... depending on when I wake up and when I sleep . A Sunday fast would be fantastic don't you think ? 

Haven't tested my blood sugar... can't fast without sehri...

Not sure where the time gone...it's almost 3 in the morning..... And despite the fact that I have had the 8-10 two hours sleep...I am beginning to fall asleep again .

Astronomical twilight Karachi is 4:38 am ... 

I can try to stay awake by munching lays and watching episode 57 of Turkish drama series Lale Devri...

5:29 am watched 57,58,and 59 ...and Mr Cinar still not able to rescue his wife and Kareem 

Did sehri and fasted ...this is my 44th fast of this year 2025 CE

Sunday fast is a lot easier because there is no garbage disposal...and I can sleep or stay in bed till noon .

I think it is better I watch the rescue of Cinar wife and Kareem here on the mobile in bed...and fall asleep watching...

Fall asleep after fajr 🛐 

Woke up to a very quiet and calm Sunday almost noon...

Checked water pump...no luck 

Nose and throat congested...vision better ...left eye hurts because of boogers

Feeling much better despite this congestion in throat tried to spit it out many times ...cleared the nose....washed eyes.

Went outside to check the water pump....last week we had water for just two days...they changed time...it's very hot outside ....

Anyways it's the regular time now and I have to get up and check the water pump..

I did fall asleep watching the Turkish drama Lale Devri with the dubbing name Tulip age episode 60 Mr Cinar did save his wife and Kareem from the drug mafia . Police arrived as they were leaving....there will be no punishment for Kareem for buying drugs without money... because he is rich kid with no money . 

Unlike here ...in the Mustafa aamir murder case ....the Rich killer's crazy addict father is now in custody with remand let's see who wins the police or 

The online shopping weeds....

2:22 pm Don't know why I feel extremely tired and depressed after this thankless fruitless water pump duty in this hot burning sun ...the neighbors are investigating huge sums of money on repairs and regular monthly maintenance....their motors and pumps are in shades....while ours is in direct sun ... can't keep it running for long hours even if the water is coming .....

No proper ground storage facility.....

Because of my fasting and yesterday's leftovers....the cooking mafia is killing time by cooking vegetables.... eggplant, bitter gourd, gourd...etc 

I am still not sure how I would like to breakfast ( iftari) 

Alhamdulillah..... Praiseth the Lord All Mighty Allah Amen 🙏 

Not sure why there is sensation in the body ...but the perspiration has stopped.....so I guess now I can get up have a bath and pray ...or should I sleep for an hour ....

The new building behind the old building was unwrapped on Easter Sunday....I don't think they had a clue or shroud of Turin.....anyways ...they have started the final tile cutting....for 3 floors 2 apartments on each floors and the basement..... that's a lot of tile cutting continuous dawn to dusk..... yesterday I heard the neighbors nearest to tile cutting ...talking to the sweeper at the top of his voice ...at first I thought he was scolding someone but then I realized that it was a very normal conversation and the sweeper was replying in very normal tone....TECHNALOGIYA.,...TECHNALOGIYA...

when the old building started construction....my dearly departed may her soul rest in peace Amen 🙏..Aunt in UK sent me a pocket fm radio . I only used it on the go.....

Back home I preferred the cassette tape player with built-in speakers.....those were the days ....I really felt empowered and care free...and although we talked a lot about the new neighbors....but never really cared.

Funny the sleep and sensation is gone....feeling cool and very relaxed now ....the cooking mafia is frying something....most probably the vegetables....so before this smell further clogs my already clogged throat...I better gets up and pray Zuhr   Prayer 🛐

Woke up and prayed...

Defrosted the refrigerator....

Once again the planning for iftari has begun....

Still not sure undecided 

Too much playing with foodpanda 🐼 app .... despite too much publicity the food Papa from the US Sharif department is still not available on play store 

And there is the last Azan for Asr

So this is a final break before iftari , Maghrib and now Asr  Prayer 🛐

10:45 pm After Asr I went to the market because there was a request for aloo ka samosa ...

So I brought aloo samosa and jalebi ...both were hot and crispy till iftari...also brought eggs and bread and yogurt...but the heaviest was the 4 kg watermelon 🍉...

There was not enough time left to cut it ....

Besides there were already so many things ....and our focus was on samosa and jalebi...with lemon 🍋 drop tea 

After iftari I prayed Maghrib  Prayer 🛐 

with a prayer for my dearly departed parents Papa

and Ammi and the Recently Departed Aslam Bhai

We have started watching a new Turkish series....her name is Zehra....till today there are only 8 episodes....so we watched 7 and 8 today 

All week we watched Hum tv series Judwaa...of the famous growing up star Aina Asif ...in double twin sister roll. This must be her best performance so far....very good....all the best ! 

By watching series on YouTube ..we are now missing most of the repeated recurring ... advertisment, tvc , commercial... sponsors message...So help us God the All Mighty Allah Amen 🙏
