What is shab e baraat?
the Night of Forgiveness
Shab-e-Barat is also known as the Night of Forgiveness or Day of Atonement. Muslims observe Mid-Sha'ban as a night of worship and salvation. Scholars like Imam Shafii, Imam Nawawi, Imam Ghazzali, and Imam Suyuti have declared praying acceptable on the night of mid-Shaban.
Why is Shab-e-Barat so special?
On the day of Shab-e-Barat, people offer prayers to their ancestors who have left this world. According to the belief, on this night Allah comes to settle accounts with his loved ones. By doing this Allah opens the doors of Jannat for them
What is the hadith of Shab-e-Barat night?
“The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'When it is the night of the middle of Sha'ban, spend its night in prayer and observe a fast on that day. For Allah descends at sunset on that night to the lowest heaven and says: 'Is there no one who will ask Me for forgiveness, that I may forgive him?
What to eat in Shab-e-Barat?
Over time, the practice of cooking and distributing halwa and roti have etched themselves as part of our tradition and now, Shab-e-Barat is synonymous to having halwa and bread in the house.

5:59 am Fall asleep doing the calculations of who won and what is lost ....woke up a little late ....and miscalculated the Sehri time ....by the time I was finished making sehri ...the time was up ....so I brushed and did the niat ...for the Sunday fast because it's not even the Shab e Baraat...that is tomorrow...
Anyways ....I was not very anxious to eat ....just that we had Gas ( Not Petrol ⛽) for sehri ....and that should have alerted me ....

Woke up with the sound of fruit seller
Watched assembly proceedings on News channels
Checked water pump no luck

Twitter (X) not working ...properly most of my tweets and photos are either unsent or lost in translation.... the funny thing is that people among my followers able to tweet and I am being notified in the notification...must be using VPN ...I am not .... don't feel my tweets are any important ...just regular postings don't matter at all .

So we offered fateha of Arfa the day before Shab e Baraat .....a neighbor also sent niaz yesterday ....
