Once again the lent started exactly on the Valentine's day ....meaning both Ash Wednesday and 14th Feb 2024 were on the same day .

The two holidays fell on the same day in 2018, and will do so again in 2029. After that, Catholics, Episcopalians and others will be clear of the strange overlap until the year 2170, some liturgical experts said. (Ash Wednesday is pegged to Easter, a “movable feast” whose date is determined by the lunar calendar.)

Amazing .....the lunar calendar....you never know ...

Anyways ....so this lent ...no fasting on the week days yet .....only fasted on previous Sunday .....woken up for sehri on Monday but was absolutely exhausted so I let it pass . Not sure if it was a wise decision or

a flight missed.

Elections : After the elections ....the horse 🐎 trading is going on in full swing . Honestly speaking .....it is the most favorite game of the people of Pakistan. Yes it is .... believe it or not ....

But the game was totally derailed by a number of state machinery ....like the Confession of the Commissioner of Rawalpindi . His involvement in the rigging of 13 high profile seats and MQM doing much better than all recent elections and by elections ...has given the opposition a chance to point fingers at the judiciary who has been calling the elections fair ...

Anyways

I am very sleepy ....

So I was not in the mood for anything special and heavy for sehri ....had self cooked bowl of rice with leftover mutton and chicken

Thought I would have a butter toast ....or biscuits ...but when I checked gas ( Not Petrol ⛽) I immediately fried the egg🍳 and toast ....( slices of bread ) 🍞

Was brushing the teeth when the Azan clock chime

Made niat Dua ....wabe somme ghadinna waitu min shahr Shaban ...I intend to fast for tomorrow in the month of Shaban Amen 🙏

Okay the Fajr Azan have started so I better pray 🛐 with a prayer for my dearly departed parents papa and Ammi and the Recently Departed Aslam Bhai

May the dear merciful Lord All Mighty Allah have mercy on my dearly departed parents Papa and Ammi and may they be blessed by the dear merciful Lord All Mighty Allah and Their Souls may rest in peace in heaven. Amen!

The weather is not cold and windy ....

Nose very dry ...and throat clogged ....

Twitter (X) is acting weird....

Very quiet Sunday morning

11:14 am Have you noticed that when you drink tea ☕ in the morning ....the clogging phelgm comes up and you spit it ...as quickly as you can ......watching reels and short videos sometimes has the same effect ...

Why ?

Must be getting emotional has to do something with it ....

Need to research more ....

Okay So ....since I am fasting today ...there is no need to worry about eating for few hours ....need to go to the market for some essentials ....but there is no hurry ...that can be put off till tomorrow...

Another exciting news other than the Elections ...is The PSL 9 has finally begin in Lahore yesterday and hopefully will end in a months time in Lahore . Maliks new wife will definitely be the star attraction .... let's see how the Hyderabadi reacts to this ....we have already witnessed the artificial weather of Dubai ...the hailstorm and excessive rain .....the pilot probably airdropped extra chemicals over the rain clouds or changed the formula ....

Okay time to check the water pump....

12:50 pm No luck ....the water timing seem to have changed this week ....or maybe the load shedding of electric ⚡ power has started at the water pumping station ....the water and sewerage board is also doing the development work ....before MQM takes over ....

The Sui Southern gas ( Not Petrol ⛽) has also dug two big holes showing old water pipe .....

We also had a little mishap ....Friday evening ....I was sleeping...after juma and Nihari brunch ...when I suddenly woke up ...with a loud sound ....as I was looking everywhere ....Saddam ( Street guard) guided me to wards the back garage ....there I saw a broken old and rusted unused sewarge pipe fallen and broken

And damaging the geezer pipes ....over the shed .

I don't understand why the pipe fell on the inside instead of outside in the ally ....and there were multiple clamps nailed to the wall....how all got loose ....I suspect that some animal or human tried to climb the pipe and broke it ....or maybe it fell after being rusty ....ever since the new neighbors have come in the top floor ....intrusive activity has increased in our compound .....my water pump has been totally exposed to direct Sun ☀️

By removing and cutting the qasiqualis vine over the wall.

Ah Azan has finished ....

4:49 pm Did not sleep....just enjoyed the Quiet Sunday afternoon.... ordered ghee and salt from pandamart ... nephew brought leakage tape for the water leak ...I don't think it will work ...the pipe need to be replaced .

The dear elder sister/ cooking mafia is worried about my iftari ....she can't cook anything especially pakora without gas ( not petrol ⛽) ....today they did not shut down but the flame is too low ....no heat enough to cook or fry .....

Okay it's Azan time.....so I take a break till after the sunset ...iftari and Maghrib Prayer 🛐 with a prayer for my dearly departed parents papa and Ammi and the Recently Departed Aslam Bhai

Honestly...I did not understand the play editing today of ishq murshid ....will watch it again on YouTube

And now ....before the movies of the week....a very sad and depressing thing ....a young boy was brutality murdered in Karachi ...his almost dead body was found in the bushes behind a hospital .....it turns out that this boy was killed with a knife just like they have shown in the Bollywood movie Animal ( 2023) and guess who was the murderer....?
