Here in Karachi where I was born and lived all the days of my life ....we believe , Cleanliness is half the faith ....and yet at the time of independence....our founding fathers surrendered the responsibility of Cleanliness to the non Muslim believers ....and they very proudly glorified their Surrender through the white portion of the National flag .
I don't feel arguing the one big shade of green representing the entire Muslim community of the Country. And what about the devout Muslims under constant threat of the non Muslims . They prefer the Red of Blood . From turkey to Bangladesh, Muslims under constant threat from Mongols and Orthodox over the centuries have Red in their flag . Most Muslims under Ottoman had no choice like the Tunisia.
Bangla under bihari and the Johar brothers .
Locally speaking the most confusing flag is that of the jamaat ay islami (ay Yildiz ) and their youth wing .....why so blue ?
