Today is the Sunday the 9th of August 2020 , the 18th of Zilhij 1441H till the Sunset ( 7:11 pm ; Karachi ☠️) And this is my the Sunday Blog # 227 ( Two Hundred and twenty Seven ) .

ALMOST THERE !!

Yes after three days rain the room temperature is 33°C in the digital Al fajr clock on the wall . If the rain continue for a couple of days more , we will probably reach a more suitable room temperature . I would definitely prefer something less than the 30°C .

So , the Telenor Pk Service is Down again for the second time this week .it was down all night Friday morning due to which I missed most of the regular online Soaps on the Social Media site YouTube . And other new and interesting things on the net .

But we will come down to the rain ...oh sorry # Karachi ☠️ Rains related topics and issues later , Right now first of all let's begin this my the Sunday Blog# 227 ( Two Hundred and twenty Seven ) , where we left last Sunday .

Just minutes before I ended the Sunday Blog # 226 ( Two hundred and twenty Six) the phone begin to ring ...I usually don't pick the ptcl landline ..when I am absolutely free . So how could I have done that at a time like this ....as the room door was open I could clearly hear the bell ringing ...it is a very primitives device of communication ...used mostly by very old or very young who cannot use or are allowed to use a smart mobile phone . Like my youngest niece used to before the Lockdown and PUBG ban .

Now I have learned that even a four ( 4) years old kindergarten pupil has to take an online class so I guess the ptcl landline is now obsolete.

What I really don't understand is that how do they expect us to look at the incoming caller I.D number mostly unknown or very strange and recognize who is calling in few seconds and pick the phone .

The ptcl landline numbers have have eight digits . It begins with a digit 3 and then the three digits of the telephone exchange code ...which sometimes help in identifying the caller . Or the location direction of the caller . For example if the caller is calling from defence DHA area or the Clifton or gulshan exchange . That way if I have known or seen the number before I usually recognise it . I am really very good with numbers .if I have seen the number few times I usually remember not the number but whose caller ID it is . Especially if it has a city code or country code .

But even my sharp memory has its limits ...often I feel helpless and dumbfounded when the caller ID is from a mobile network . I simply don't understand the logic ...every network has multiple fourth digit ...like for example at home every member has a different fourth digit . From 0341 to 0348 the remaining seven digits of the total eleven are so random you will definitely be surprised for a moment if you see the number blinking even if it's your own .

I remember very well few years ago some super genius expert come up with a sms code to track the number registery to let you know of the caller location ...and that only gave the city .

So Anyways , the rain has stopped but the network is not restored yet ...there is a rooftop bar be que just started . Very few were held this year because of the blessed rain . Most of the rooftops in the neighborhood that used to have the barbeques after bakra Eid came down . Residents kicked out and the man of the house dead . The house that is having a barbeque at this hour (3:11 am ) during the rain break with loud music is almost down . And the man of the house a widower is too frail to walk ...I really doubt if he can even climb up to the rooftop . Recently he rented out the first floor to a tech company so maybe they are having a barbeque . Either way it's gone . Sadly it had one of the most fruit yielding mango tree ... In the neighborhood .

So , this was the first bakra Eid in my life when I did not touch ( eat) the Qurbani ka Gosht . Did not even tasted the salt and tender . And the harshest test was today ( Saturday dinner) where chicken Pulao had mutton yakhni . At first I was furious at my cooking mafia sister for this milawat . But then I talked with Doctor Saab on the messenger and he told me about the online Qurbani

And that he received the whole goat in a box ...even the hoofs ( paya) unfortunately he took the picture of the box when it was empty the next day and not when it came the first day at ten . Now he is worried if they took his name or not during the slaughter . And I said that if they tag the box then surely they must have .... Walla ho Alam bis sawab

It's almost four in the morning ....the smells of barbeque is still coming ... The left out deputy commissioners of the Neighborhood must be feeling very ..left out ...so if the rain stopped tonight there might be more smoke and fumes in the neighborhood ...

Still no service of the network ...let me go out and check like they do in haunted B movies and television shows ....🤳🗼

Oh my God ....it works ...not only I got the network service ...but I even got bitten by a spider ...

Anyways it's time for the battery recharge and the prayer break ...

So here I take the break for fajr prayers with a prayer for my dearly departed parents Papa and Ammi

May the dear merciful Lord All Mighty Allah have mercy on my dearly departed parents Papa and Ammi and may they be blessed by the dear merciful Lord All Mighty Allah and Their Souls may rest in peace in heaven. Amen!

5:55 am Good Morning !

it is almost Dawn and we are out of Dawn Bread .. I am skipping the Sunday Breakfast for a Sunday Brunch ....if it did not rain today then we could be back with the hot and sunny weather ...so there is no point in breaking the Red meat sabbatical .

The Good News is that government of Pakistan is trying desperately to reopen everything on or before the Fourth of....sorry the Fourteenth of August 2020 or the Indian Independence day 15th August 2020. . It is definitely not clear what is stopping them .

So in my previous Sunday Blog #226 , I claimed that the NDMA did not respond to the Prime Minister Khan's request to clean Karachi ☠️ the most dangerous city in the world . On Wednesday night and Thursday mornings I received a spam from NDMA most graciously through the Telenor Pk ' private number . And then there was news all over social media that Army has cleared the one of the three main blocked Nalla drain.

So what more proof do we need that NDMA has come to Karachi ☠️ the most dangerous city in the world , only to save Army's tauts Murad and Wasim from total drowning after the heavy rains . Strangely nobody blames The Pakistani Army for ruining Karachi ☠️ the most dangerous city in the world , like they do the political agents who have been in power for much less number of years then the Army .

Anyways God forbid and sends heavy rain ....the rampant land grabbing in Karachi ☠️ the most dangerous city in the world began during the Musharraf rule . And it was reciprocated by the builder's mafia as well . So how can we expect the same or similar Army and it's generals to improve the condition of the city they ruined in dacades ?

The Facebook has not started a report your well-being during rain and urban flooding as yet . Probably because the NDMA did not inform them of any official disaster as yet .

So the people who have seen the urban flooding videos with cars floating in the neck high rain water would never believe that nobody drowned ...infact there could be thousands of homeless people drowned who and how they will find it .

You know it is fun 😁 not having the full net work ...

The neighborhood is also too silent .... Saein has returned with new Sindh police uniforms and Arms . The undertaker and the mazar drummer only got two minutes Airtime ....the Piper with the drummer just greeted the Google App and passed silently ...

This is the Sunday Brunch I had ...I refused the hot and oily Puri as the sun came out

After brunch I played the game to catch the mobile network ....

So now I feel very drowsy ...not that I have eaten too much ...but it must be the hypnotising gyro by Saba qamar ....the girl just don't quit ....

And this reminds me that my vacations from the Juma prayer is about to end soon

..it is sad that I missed the whole mango season Juma Mubarak prayers farmers market . The mangoes we got this year were from southern Punjab , the sweet chunsa mangoes missed the Sindhri .

Okay it's too late now ...I need to take a break for the prayer with a prayer for my dearly departed parents Papa and Ammi

6:11 pm so I fall asleep after praying with a prayer for my dearly departed parents Papa and Ammi

When I woke up the sky was totally different in every corner like the Eastern side had dark clouds , north had white clouds ...and over my head it was clear blue sky ...now this is the beauty of the monsoon season here in Karachi ☠️ the most dangerous city in the world .

The wind from the Arabian sea usually clears the dark thunderous clouds from the bay of Bengal ...

And saves the builder mafia and land mafia and especially the k electric .

Since 2015 a new phenomenon has developed called the heat wave or No Wind at all . I have absolutely no idea what has caused this development and I dare not ask the mini stressed of Climate Change .

Do I smell masoor ki daal ?

And fresh phulki roti bread....

Wal lah ho khair ur raziqeen .

Walls has new double flavor Cornetto pop cones ....I saw the poster on the tricycle cart after the Asr prayers with a prayer for my dearly departed parents Papa and Ammi

Okay there comes the sound of ...No. Puri. .the smell will follow very shortly ....

Anyways it's time to seek the Net Work ....and update or should I take the food pictures first ?

I ll get out of the bed and then decide there is zero connectivity in this room here ...so I will have to go out either way ...

As you can see the room temperature is Still the Same ...it did not rain all day and night ...and the kitchen activity also continue all day , I am sure the temperature will be a degree higher in the morning ...

Anyways after I prayed the maghrib prayer with a prayer for my dearly departed parents Papa and Ammi

We had the Facebook Meetup extraordinire for this Eid-e-Ghadir and send tabbarah on all the relatives and neighbors who ate up our share of the Qurbani ka Gosht .

And had this for the dinner ...

I checked my Mobile service network ...it is working now inside even from my room ...so I guess I don't need to climb the trees and walls to get the network service no more ....at Asr time some of the neighbors did get up but by maghrib it was a dead town ....even the tree leaves were still . There must be some breaking news on the news channels or the test match must be in a interesting stage ...

And now the movies of the week ...

This week I watched three movies ...two from the downloaded earlier and one Pakistani online .

Highlander ( 1986) I usually don't like the time travel movies no more ...but this is so old and probably the best of that year ...not sure if it won any awards or not ,but surely I have been in that year ...and know kids loved this kid of inter galactic stuff too much and surely they must have loved it too ... Actors grow up so fast but some becomes legend and invincible twice ...and Sean Connery is one of those

Honestly love makes no sense to me ....I believe live is a journey and it will end faster if you chill .

Triple threat (2005) survallence, espionage and assassination by a pretty girl like that is next to impossible ..... People like me would feel somebody is watching ...even if you are too cautious and careful .

Are you sure it was not an edited video for a different category rating ....?

Anyways after too much research and education most of the fun is already gone ...the remaining could be lost by handing the vital assets into the inexperienced , unprofessional hands ....so please give it up .... don't

10:58 pm Okay we are almost at the end of this my the Sunday Blog # 227 ( Two Hundred and twenty Seven ) . Today I did not get to watch any episode of tatli intikam or ek hassen intiqam...

So I will have to watch it back to back ...after midnight ... can't wait ...

The network service seems to have lost any or all interest in being gone ....as I reached the three thousand words mark without it ....it was fun though ...

I really have it too much importance ...instead I should have waited and did this my the Sunday Blog # 227 ( Two Hundred and twenty Seven ) off line . I wasted a lot of time enjoying instead of cursing and abusing the service provider .

The food was really nice without the meat or chicken ...and for the first time the aloo Choley tarkari tasted and smell just like take away morning breakfast ....awesome ....see it's about the ingredients and the recipe and not about the burns road ... that's what my Aunt from Canada was trying to tell ...anyways

There can be no other Beirut anywhere in the world ....they started the fire we didn't ....

And like smoke it went viral to Najaf , Ajman and Jeddah . All Arabs Non Jews ....

Constitutionally speaking NDMA is Not The Pakistan Army and it has no jurisdiction until the Governor or the Government declared emergency in the disaster area . In dollar terms it's the barkat Saab ka bhanja not the Barkat Saab itself . Nala saaf Karo aur niklo ziyada helicopter main ourney ki zaroorat nahein ....

Excessive boring in the city has caused the water level drop to unknown depths ....choked drains and overflowing gutters will help restore the water level underground . Simple 😎
