The Sunday Blog # 203
Today is the Sunday the 23rd of February 2020 , the 28th of Jamadi us Sani 1441 till the Sunset (6:31 pm ; Karachi) And this is my the Sunday Blog # 203 ( Two Hundred and Three ) .
So today is the Quinquagesima The Last Sunday before Lent ( Quadragesima, سسابی ) 2020 . The weather is good cool breeze in the night and sometimes even in the sun fasting for forty days won't be any trouble .
The trouble will be breaking the fast and overeating . you won't believe this but even at this midnight hour my dear siblings are checking the food panda app and after trying to convince them that I am not eating till the morning and locking myself in this room I cannot be really sure i won't be called for receiving the delivery from the rider or a Quinquagesima Supper .

Then the other worry is that the winter season is over and the 🏏 Cricket season has begun . So the chances of unexpected chaapa especially by those who were away or locked due to cold winter will definitely increase

A guy is asking for help at this hour ....and I thought it was a delivery rider . Anyways it must be a security drill I should have ignored it as the drums are also beating nearby and the Sindh Police is also in it .....🙄
So after this security drill everybody stopped checking the food panda app and checked the door
Had tea and I guess the Quinquagesima Supper is off . I don't know if somebody helped him or not the Mobile must have picked him by now . The drums or the music have stopped and rider activity resumed .

Sometime today we will also have the new Moon which means in Dollar 💲terms that the holy month of Rajab is just round the corner.. the moon will surely be sighted on Monday and since this is the leap year so the 6th of Rajab 1441H the khawaja Gharib Nawaz RA. I have absolutely no idea how the Trump visit will effect or Affect the stumbling blocks , khadims and the Chishtis of Devenport on this 6th of Rajab 1441H . Last year I fasted on the Sundays so I guess since nothing have changed in the past year , there is no need to alter that . And besides the beyond reprochable Land Mafia will set the ball rolling and there is also the food panda app to help ... My dear siblings won't even miss me if I get up late in the afternoon or take a ride to the beach and return for iftari in the evening . Or keep sleeping till 4:00 pm .

Feels like the United States wants us to help improve their relations with China after failing to distant us apart . As a Goodwill gesture they have offered a taleban deal and I am sure some Easter Eggs and candies will be announced by Ash Wednesday in the coming week or at the return of Mr Trump .
I have no idea if the Chinese are in a mood to reconcile especially after the Corona Virus 😷 I am sure they must be thinking that it is a Jewish or American conspiracy and maybe they would take the visit of US President twitterwala as a threat to their economy just like Pakistan is seeing it as threat to it's solidarity . Especially the Arms deals between US and India and the sale of Apache xyz
I have no doubt in my mind that Trump , moodi and Ivanka hate Pakistan even more now because of Imran Khan or maybe they really don't care about Pakistan as much as they hate Imran Khan from his Playboy days i know nothing about ...I still have no clue why he lived in the United States obviously he did not go there for the cancer research or did he ?

Karachi the most dangerous city in the world ☠️ is very different and dynamic city . Even before the independence most of the public projects were privately funded by the Affluent philanthropic leaders and communities from empress market to the Clifton promenade ...i am not really sure shore about central jail or the drigh road . Very little developments work has been done by the government s of British India or Pakistan . Even the USAID that has spent millions of US taxpayers or oil exploits dollars on the Sufi shrines of Sindh and Multan were not able to save the Ghazi Shah Shrine from being re- modeled by a private land developer .
So let's see if Murad Shah and his party is able to bring Chinese debt financing for the City Circular Railway project and lives happily ever after in the Bahamas or re- sale the Railway land cleared from encroachment and buys property abroad .

Oh no seems like all my calculations and assumptions we're wrong today ...moon may not be sighted here tomorrow and 6th Rajab may not be on Sunday next ... Also the story about the midnight security drill changed a lot after the Facebook Meetup deliberations ... It was a case of floor crossing in the multi-decker across the street . Sindh police denied any involvement .
So after maghrib prayers I went for breakfast shopping ...came back and practice eating pancakes for Shrove Tuesday
It was fun because I don't remember when was the last time i had home made pancakes ... will have to check the Facebook archive which is not possible today without the net ...

Trying my best to keep warm the runny 👃 is totally blocked from the left side no change
I'm not very fond of taking medicine and drugs so I have started from the basics if I did not survive this flu attack when I woke up in the afternoon , I will definitely take the antibiotics 😷 and chicken soup but if I woke up all sweaty then I will not take any medicine just try to relax that is the plan hope this is not serious . I definitely don't want to be drowsy under influence of flu medicines at least not this week of all the weeks in the world definitely not this Shrove week
This was the most interesting and educating Quinquasima before the Lent 2020.

I definitely don't want to be drowsy under influence of flu medicines at least not this week of all the weeks in the world definitely not this Shrove week
