Today is Sunday the 9th of December 2018 , the 1st of Rabi us Sani 1440H till the sunset ( 5:43 pm , Karachi ) and this is my the Sunday Blog # 140 ( Hundred and Forty ) .
When i was reaching forty i was so confused as to how i should be spelling the digit 40 in english or american ....as the case may be ...or as the need should arise ... ya you have guess it correct The Forty vs Fourty ...
But somehow I got google and spell checks before i know it and i never had to worry about it anymore ....
sometime we worry a lot for things before time and when they come and go or never come ....we Thank the All Mighty Allah Amen ! for that ...it is good we should do that a lot .
Anyways . So here we are in the second sunday of the last month of the 2018 . This Month of December has five sundays and after today there will be three more to go . So i don't think that there is any reason to start feeling nostalgic already ....or even to remember what we could not achieve this year and making a resolve that we will probably do better in the coming year . After the valentines' nobody even remember what resolve he or she made at the new years' strange isn't it ...honestly i have given up this exercise this year altogether ...The One big example of it is that everyday i fill up the pot with water and put it on the stove to boil ...and then go do something else and forget totally about it ....it feels very embarrassing when i suddenly realize that more than half of the pot would have been dried by now .... Usually its the nostalgic thoughts made me forget the present or the future ...why is it that never the present makes us even remotely distracted towards the nostalgia or phobia of the unseen ??
So anyways . It has been a very different week for me from the past forty or Fourty plus weeks of the year twenty eighteen or two thousand eighteen ....2018 or whatever . 52 - 4 = 48 or 47 ....
In a surprise move ...The City administration closed down the second track of the M.A Jinnah Road nostalgically known here as the Bunder ( Port) Road amazing that it was named that so long before they even proposed the plan to build a Port Grand under the Jinnah Bridge at the beginning or the end of the Road .
Anyways ....since i don't drive or ride a bike i have been avoiding the old city downtown of Church and Cathedral surrounded by commercial hub of the city for quite some time now since they discontinued the route of yellow devil mini bus from Tariq Road direct to the saddar empress market . I don't remember the year now or the rhyme they sang to do it . But they did it . But since now Both tracks of the Numaish to Capri cinema have been dug up for green line Bus mansooba ....the traffic is forced to ply through the especially created route and road from the Mazar to the Saddar Parking Plaza . Its a very very long and tiring story of how and when this route was created .
After the Gulf war the port activity increased many folds so they separated the port traffic from the normal city traffic . This did not help either ...because the traffic grew phenomenally and there were regular traffic jams and accidents plus many religious and political organizations got interested in blocking and closing the M.A. Jinnah Road very regularly especially during the festive or ceremonial seasons when there is already the overload of the traffic coming in and going out of the commercial and financial hub of the city . So they thought that by removing an ugly and dirty slum which by the way they have been trying to remove for decades , they could create a new route that will be the answer to the normal flow of traffic during the closure and blocking of the Main M.A.Jinnah road for religious , political or security reasons . The Project started and got stuck in a bottle neck ...for years there was a small portion of the road in the middle of the project which could not be completed for some political or legal stand off . But finally that portion of the road was also build the slum in its way was removed . Still there was a lot of Slum on either side of this road . And if you drive through it from mazar to saddar parking plaza you will clearly observe that a kind of a berlin wall separates this highway from the slum on both sides . And because of this slum and the bottle neck at the Parking plaza Saddar . the private bus owners did not want to ply their expensive buses on this road . Till this week when they are now forced to ...because there is no other option for them . So now for me it is just a 20-20 ride . Rs 20/- fare and travel time 20 minutes . or maybe less if they are racing with a nemesis from the rival tribe .
So the First visit in years was amazing especially because i got to see the new Empress Market which we have been watching on the news for the past couple of days or weeks maybe ...i just don't remember when this all started nor do i have any idea when it will all end . So anyways in my just two visits to the Saddar area and Burns road i was able to tajdeed ay emaan by visiting the Student Biryani and Waheed Nihari so believed to have been dearly departed . No they both have survived .

So now you will know why i said ...In a surprise move ....the city administration closed down the second track of M.A. Jinnah road before christmas . Because i thought they would first clean up the mess and then invite me to check it out ... they knew that i would not miss it for the world .
4:15 am Okay yes i am a bit relaxed even though my plan of sleeping after dinner till midnight failed very badly. i had a movie the christmas tv movie left in the youtube downloads so i watched it . It was good probably the best amongst the christmas movies i watched this week . luckily i downloaded the series of christmas tv movies on youtube and watched them all . The number of total movies i watched this week surprises me as well ...must be a new record this year will have to check and see what was the previous . And this tirade of movies was not at all distracted or disturbed by the day long net shutdown ...with the knowledge of the company or the complaint helpline at least . Just when i was beginning to feel that they have given up the bad habit of pre emptive net shut down to check my excessive food pictures upload on some spiritual or festive occasions not liked by people of difference faiths, sects or religious minorities ...recently the bias has broaden due to health issues ...now apart from the meat and beef and oil and butter some people have issues with the sweet content of the food and dishes in my food images . I have kept all the record of the net shutdowns and unless its not shut down to prevent or block a news event happened or happening to save me from its impact the most important other reason is to stop me from posting or deleting posts already uploaded . Anyways times have changed a lot gone are the days when i used to suffer a lot when they shutdown my net as everything used to come to a standstill just my luck . Now there a special net connection called wifi which can be accessed through any smart device or mobile phone as well as through some latest computers as well . It is usually easier and cheaper than the High speed DATA network ...provided by the telecom industry . It eats up the easyload at high speed . Anyways to use a wifi connection it is not always necessary to have a internet connection yourself ...you can always use family , friends, or neighbours wifi connection or a corporate or business wifi connection near you . The problem is that these days most of the wifi connection and hotspots are password protected to prevent over use of the wifi network by the muft khoras ( free users) . Jokes apart Free wifi is a reality and not a Myth in most countries of the world . But while in saddar area of Karachi the most dangerous city in the world , i checked my mobile phone for any free wifi hotspots and i was not only surprised but shocked that not only the big fish but even the giants were missing from this game of free wifi freely available or password protected but even the names of the wifi suggest how mean and abusive some people are towards those who may need it more .
Interesting isn't it the saddar area electronics and biggest mobile market in the region has no free wifi available without the password . And this fellow is suggesting in a slur that he or she is not really willing to share his or her Wifi Password with the poor . Not to mention that the got of Mr Bilawal was supposed to be working on a fee wifi project which not even being run for test availability in the Biggest mobile and computer market in the region . @##^%^&
So tell me how can somebody call a careem or UBER when he or she needs to get out of the mobile and electronics home appliances biggest market in the region . Sometimes i have heard that when you are on Data booking a careem or UBER ride ...the captains complain that our location is not reaching them which is not very surprising for me because even with a huge DATA package of 4G in the absence of the wifi this is not very difficult to understand as with some data 4 G connections some times the photos or files are not opening without even being specifically mentioned no to . Like in some smart devices these days the level and freedom of accessibility is optional whether you want it to run apps on wifi or DATA or Both . Some program and apps only run on wifi so as to save the DATA which is many times higher than the normal ( standard ) rates .
So coming back to the real issue . Where do i see this mobile mess in a year .And talking about the mobile mess . This weeks most interesting news and breaking news or entertaining news was the detention of the Huawei 's executive and daughter of the founder Ren Zhengfie meng wanzhou ....does't this wangzhou reminds you of the hindi movie three idiots ...yes yes the one with Amir khan . Anyways here we have four idiots not three ...Canada , Iran , US and China . Four countries against just one woman executive . Strange isn't it ....what has the world come down to .

seems like i woke up today a little before the noon ...and there are more surprises for me than i could hardly digest today ....there are three construction workers looking at me while i try to contemplate whats going on up in the sky ....can't they use drone cam instead ....obviously the ministry did not allow it as well as there is no learning and nostalgic about a drone cam ....i am sure about it ....anyways more about the bamboo net around my net and cat cable ....will try to post live pics as well as i understand what is going on or where actually i am this noon ....LOL

11:59 am Wow Woke up to a very different Sky ....Silver ....no ...whitish ...Amazing ...Awesome ...not very cold or windy ...just as it was yesterday in clear blue and burning Sun ...lets see how the day goes by ...made coffee ..skipping brunch.
The refrigerator seems to be losing it since the media mafia chose not to take the second marriage of Aamir lying down ....almost all week they played with the electric wires even had a few short and brief shutdowns ...we were quite amazed when the digital phone complaint system told us that your area is shut down ...but what was more shocking when the cable complaint manual guy preempted that you area net is being configured ... we are still trying to analyze what that means ....anyways he said it will be okay late night today or some time tomorrow ..i checked it many time late night ...as you all know i stay up all night till morning so that the army can sleep on the borders ...( serious ly no lol) but anyways it was back and ok when i woke up the next morning ( before noon ) .
So now this bamboo net around the cable and a guy almost swinging on it while ogling at my morning coffee face ...i believe ...they have the DATA net covered as as well ....so is the fourteen days to the middle of the month not over yet ....seems like the party has just began ...for the siblings ....especially the dear elder brother ....
So now if i lose the net cable today ...i am almost done here ....will reach the three thousand words mark very soon and will publish it any how ...and can try doing the rest without the cable or data net ...and up date later as well ....and i am very sure this sudden rise of the construction and maintenance activity will not last very long ....so even if i did not have net of any kind for a day or two ...it not be all that bad ...i hope ...anyways you never know ....until you find out .
Actually i am myself not very attracted to the net activities as well ....and would prefer to be asked to run some outside errands instead of the inside chores ....it is really fun to be walking around the same old MALC and St Johns ....amazing its just as it was in my childhood ...no change for the good ...none at all ...that's how smart folks never slay the Golden egg lying goose ....just in case there is a tough christmas ever . I don't have the actual figure ....but i am very sure that instead of walking and jumping over the trash and gutter water ...everybody should have been hoover boarding ......There ....
So anyways its time for me to take a break and have a lunch or something ....

There we have it all entangled in the bamboo net ...construction support ...so now its going to be over soon ...even though i have a package from till 6 pm ...so lets see how it goes ...But i will still not understand why this is happening now ....Anyways here is what i had for lunch ...looks more like a brunch ...
or maybe breakfast ....should have had this before the sleep pre dawn ...
All week i have been so supportive of the struggling flu virus or bacteria inside me clogging the nose and throat ...but some how it has totally disappointed me ...i can still breath well , eat well and sleep well ....and the digestive system has been awesome as well ...can you believe i digested almost half of the home made marble ...cake made by my dear sister for her sister's son ...on his 23rd Happy Birthday ....don't know why she cut it herself and left the slices on the table up for grabs ...with a flask full of tea at one in the morning ...maybe she just took the picture and posted it on the facebook or whatsapp and was done ....thank God the All Might Allah Amen ! that they have a prior engagement ...so chances of chapaa is much less than normal sundays and happy Birthday's combined .... And with net issue i believe i should be done too and go out and play if that's what they want ....
....And Today is the Fortieth (40th) Day from the day we officially accepted him gone ....I hope they give him clean jockey's every day ...Amen !
Was it magic or is it the undone of whatever it was ....i am and may never be really sure ....I watched and will be watching many more Christmas movies this month and especially the Hallmark and Lifetime TV movies for clues ...any clue ...even the slightest inkling as to what was it ....how is still ? that he is not letting us go ....

Had a really awesome facebook meetup ...since we cannot keep the sticks in freezer ...had to eat it and then tea to clear the throat ...lets see what happens after sunset ...Aha ...today i woke up to the saint's karachi and now its all back to the sinners ...same almost clear blue sky and sunny ....no sign of that amazing awesome white Christmas sky ....cannot believe it all happened in just few hours . but that is what Karachi the most dangerous city in the world is all about . keeps changing all the time ...so if something or some one is not changing or can't change ....then somebody or some external force is stopping it ....better not interfere ...that's what i feel ...and that's what i do . try to keep a very low profile when a truck or a plane is trying to force its way through the Air space and ambiance around ....lol

no no we will probably have it on the wednesday the 19th ...anyways since student biryani is just round the corner and so is Burns road ...we can have it both days and nights ....And the funny thing is that the chapaas cannot disturb or distract it anymore ...
Okay we had a burger and tea ...not sure if it was the high tea or the dinner ...but for the moment i am too full.
And can't even move ....don't know why ...? oh yes i finished up the leftover box of student biryani as well on the fridge clean up drive ....that reminds me i have to go to the market as well to bring stuff for cooking the meat frozen ....Why do the refrigerator has to breakdown on Sunday's only ....why can't it wait til the mouse runs up the clock ...after midnight monday , tuesday , wednesday or thursday ....Okay never mind ....
lets move to the movies of the week ....
Had the most amazing movies week ...broke my own record of the recent weeks and did not even knew it ...see for yourself .

okay i am back ...the tea was finished so i made a hot very hot bubbling hot cup of coffee on the stove ....will never understand the beans coffee and the peculator gig ....but at least in his ...my only American Uncle ...who else ..., i am having coffee this very non winter December ...okay i am sweaty now ....fan on ...the good thing about a table fan is that it reacts very quick ...to the press of the buttons ...So i was wondering ...if they opened the Saddar and burns road for me ...before christmas ...what's next ....do i get a regular paying job as well sometime soon ...no no i don't wanna rush into anything ...but if this is possible before the 40th day ...anything is ....

i thought that it is all over but it seems that they gave me the final half hour to complete this my the sunday Blog # 140 ( hundred and forty ) ...honestly i was expecting a cable and data net shut down all day ...but it only happened after the rain ...a force majeure ...is quite extraordinaire
