The Sunday Blog #70

Today is the 6th of August 2017 the 13th of Ziqad 1438 till the Sunset (7:13 pm Karachi) and this is my the Sunday Blog # 70 . Yay !!!!!
No No i really don't feel that old or depressed . Its just that seventy sounds like a lot especially because this is a very non rewarding self challenging and self motivation excercise so i really have no idea where i am going and when i will be gone LOL  for good i hope ....
Anyways . So after the last weeks err and mishap of forgetting the isha namaz tonight i am hundred percent sure that i have offered the Isha prayer with full devotion and less distractions . Since my dearly departed Ammi ( may her Soul rest in peace in heaven Amen!) Passed away one of the strangest phenomenon of a non particular mechanical sound during the witr namaz of the isha prayer every night no matter what time of the night i prayed has finally gone . It was one of the strangest of all distractions . I believe there is some difference of opinion in the method of its praying both with the imam as we often pray during the month of ramzan after the taravee prayers ever night in ramzan or without an iman whether in the mosque or at home . So here again i am not leaving the method i have been taught since i was very young by the family and the visiting teacher from the nearby mosque , untill the eidi motor bike ...lol

So Tonight i have a good News and a bad news . The Good News is that ..wait there are more than just one ..so one by one .
Went to sisters house tonight at dinner time yes Chapaa by me .
Had a spicy zinger burger with soda made by my sister and nieceImage may contain: foodImage may contain: food
Had a rickshaw ride twice tonight must be my first in a zillion years . infact i even can't remember when i went to the sisters place or on that route two towns away in this the most dangerous city of the world Karachi !Image may contain: one or more people, night and outdoorImage may contain: night, car and outdoor
My dear young sister and childhood friend was so pleased by my very unexpected chaapa that she text'd me twice to thank as i was on my way back and after i thanked her in reply was hospitality . Obviously when somebody text you reply as soon as possible and if your phones memory allows you sometimes save the good ones depending of the phones memory and format . In my previous mobile phone i had some very memorable text messages inclucding the messages on my happy Birthdays and eids and i had saved them in the phone and i was so desperate to save them in the file format But i did not find a file manager program than can help me save those very valuable messages . The phone had some trouble went for repair and they changed the integrated Circuit or popularly known as IC chip . When i got back the mobile phone back it was working okay but all my saved stuff was wiped out clean . This has happened with my computer files many times as well . Mostly in the gen saabs era . 2004 - 2009 . After that i got wiser and started using files saving methods both online and offline data travelers . No No absolutely not the girls with incredible brain power . LOL

We have tap water and the gutter over-flowing on the way to the mosque is unbelievably dried tonightImage may contain: night, outdoor and water

I had icecream and an apple before starting this my the Sunday Blog # 70 ..
I had icecream and an apple before starting this my the Sunday Blog # 70 .

And Now the Bad News .... According to the media reports there is a fault in the submerged cable near saudi arabia so the net in Pakistan and especially the BTCL is disrupted , blocked or too slow .

"Fault occurred in IMEWE due to which consumers experienced slow internet browsing"https://t.co/Mzy640Yi7q
— Daily Times (@dailytimespak) August 6, 2017
So even though my net is unbelievable ok but some sites like twitter and wordpress are badly affected So it will be a very very Fun Sunday Blog and probably one of the most challenging so Be good and let me finish first . And since the word count is not available so it will be a little difficult to really know when and where to take the break or when and how and where to increase and decrease the pace and speed of the blog . But i am sure that in the end i will look back and feel that i have really done justice despite not support from red or white . Amen !

1;39 AM Break

3:25 am Okay i can still have a breakfast at three in the morning without waking anybody who is not awake . The Beef Chapli is awesome should have had it with the puri or paratha .
Image may contain: foodImage may contain: food

During the break i watch oh sorry i channel surfed and realised that i have not stated the islamic date correctly so the first thing i have corrected tonight is the islamic lunar date back a day .
Okay other then the breakfast in the picture above i also had a ticky pack of marie biscuits with tea just now so i believe that i do not need to eat till the after noon but you know how my family and  the dear siblings are so it will be very difficult to not eat till the zuhr prayer if i got up early .Image may contain: 1 person, text

Okay the wordpress is now connected Praiseth the Lord All Mighty Allah Amen !
and according to the word count i am very near the first thousand words mark on the words counter for this my the Sunday Blog # 70 .

The Past week has been very reality bites kind of week and just like the colors tv soap serial my dearly departed Ammi ( May her Soul rest in peace in heaven Amen !) used to watch very religiously the political soap opera also took a new turn and a new beginning totally moving forward When an Honorable oh sorry when and Honourable Member of the National Assembly the lower house of the Majestic Parliament of Pakistan quit the Khan saab's party and become an over night celebrity by appearing on every filthy rich news channel of Pakistan and accused dear very old khan saab of sending dirty mms oh sorry again ...yes dirty black berry messages .  Before i move any further i want to know why black berry is not so popular in Pakistan and why Q- mobile is so popular in pakistan ?
Image may contain: 2 people, people smiling

So here is my policy statement regarding the issue before reading the dirty messages send to the honourable MNA on special womens seat reserved quota chosen above thousands of women members of the party . Well according to my knowledge and belief some one in the PTI party hierarchy must have nominated or suggested her name for the women special quota seat in the parliament . Just as aamir liaqat was nominated to be elected .
Minus One Zinda bad !
minus One Zinda bad !
Minus One Zinda bad !

I love the politics of Pakistan and the constitution of Pakistan that never fails to amaze me .

So here i am its almost time for another very long break for fajr namaz and sleep . Some times what happens is that when i get up for sleep from this my the sunday blog # -- or lie down hoping to fall asleep soon but the anxiety of a thought that comes to mind during the prayer could not let me sleep at all and waste a lot of time . Hopefully that will not happen today because i am super sleepy today after that amazing and unplanned outing . So its good night or good twilight astro pray fajr because it is better then sleep and then have fun on this beautiful Sunday Morning and sunrise ( 6:02 am karachi)

May the Lord all mighty Allah forgive and have mercy on my dearly departed parents and may their souls rest in peace in heaven Amen !

Ingredients: Each 5ml contains: Acefylline 45mg, Diphenhydramine 8mg

Plain language summary

Xanthines (e.g. theophylline) are a group of drugs thought to have helpful preventative and reliever properties in the treatment of asthma in children. This review of studies has established that there is evidence for useful effects of these drugs in terms of symptom relief and lung function, but also some evidence of side‐effects. As a primary preventative therapy, whilst there is evidence that xanthines are effective, this review suggests that more effective alternative treatment options (inhaled steroids) are available. In children with more severe asthma, the role of xanthines as an add‐on therapy has only been assessed in a small number of trials, which report mixed effects. More studies in this area would help to generate a more reliable overview of the effects of treatment in these children. Xanthines are an effective preventative treatment in childhood asthma, but less effective than inhaled steroids, and with a less favourable side‐effect profile. There is insufficient evidence at present to assess their role as "add‐on" preventer treatment versus newer alternatives. Some of the trials exposed the children they recruited to a pre‐trial phase of xanthine in order to maintain effective dosing during the trial. This could have made the trial participants less representative of the general population by making them more inclined to tolerate the study drug. This exposure also may have meant that they could recognise what drug they were taking during the blinded phase of the study.

Abstract

Background: Xanthines have been used in the treatment of asthma as a bronchodilator, though they may also have anti‐inflammatory effects. The current role of xanthines in the long‐term treatment of childhood asthma needs to be reassessed.
Objectives: To determine the efficacy of xanthines (e.g. theophylline) in the maintenance treatment of paediatric asthma.
Search methods: A search of the Cochrane Airways Group Specialised Register was undertaken with predefined search terms. Searches are current to May 2008.
Selection criteria: Randomised controlled trials, lasting at least four weeks comparing a xanthine with placebo, regular short‐acting beta‐agonist (SABA), inhaled corticosteroids (ICS), cromoglycate (SCG), ketotifen (KET) or leukotriene antagonist, in children with diagnosed with chronic asthma between 18 months and 18 years old.
Data collection and analysis: Two reviewers independently selected each study for inclusion in the review and extracted data. Primary outcome was percentage of symptom‐free days.
Main results: Thirty‐six studies (2838 participants) were included. Xanthine versus placebo (18 studies): The proportion of symptom free days was larger with xanthine compared with placebo (7.97% [95% CI 3.41, 12.53]). Rescue medication usage was lower with xanthine, with no significant difference in symptom scores or hospitalisations. FEV1, and PEF were better with xanthine. Xanthine was associated with non‐specific side‐effects. Data from behavioural scores were inconclusive. Xanthine versus ICS (four studies) : Exacerbations were less frequent with ICS, but no significant difference on lung function was observed. Individual studies reported significant improvements in symptom measures in favour of steroids, and one study reported a difference in growth rate in favour of xanthine. No difference was observed for study withdrawal or tremor. Xanthine was associated with more frequent headache and nausea. Xanthine versus regular SABA (10 studies): No significant difference in symptoms, rescue medication usage and spirometry. Individual studies reported improvement in PEF with beta‐agonist. Beta‐agonist treatment led to fewer hospitalisations and headaches. Xanthine was associated with less tremor. Xanthine versus SCG (six studies): No significant difference in symptoms, exacerbations and rescue medication. Sodium cromoglycate was associated with fewer gastro‐intestinal side‐effects than xanthine. Xanthine versus KET (one study): No statistical tests of significance between xanthine and ketotifen were reported. : Xanthine + ICS versus placebo + same dose ICS (three studies) : Results were conflicting due to clinical/methodological differences, and could not be aggregated. Xanthine + ICS versus ICS + leukotriene (one study): Results from one trial One small parallel study did not measure the primary outcome of symptoms; differences between treatments in end of treatment values were not statistically significant.
Authors' conclusions: Xanthines as first‐line preventer alleviate symptoms and reduce requirement for rescue medication in children with mild to moderate asthma. When compared with ICS they were less effective in preventing exacerbations. Xanthines had similar efficacy as single preventative agent compared with regular SABA and SCG. Evidence on AEs (adverse effects) was equivocal: there was evidence for increased AEs overall, but no evidence that any specific AE (including effects on behaviour and attention) occurred more frequently than with placebo. There is insufficient evidence from available studies to make firm conclusions about the effectiveness of xanthines as add‐on preventative treatment to ICS, and there are no published paediatric studies comparing xanthines with alternatives in this role. Our data suggest that xanthines are only suitable as first‐line preventative asthma therapy in children when ICS are not available. Pre‐trial exposure to the agents assessed may have pre‐disposed the trial populations to tolerate the drug, and may have threatened blinding. They may have a role as add‐on therapy in more severe asthma not controlled by ICS, but further studies are needed to examine this, and to define the risk‐benefit ratio compared with other agents.

So here we are almost at the next Asr Namaz time . Thank God the All Mighty Allah that the focus of attention has clearly shifted from me so i can easily sit here or anywhere without being noticed at all this was what was the dirty message i got during the zuhr prayer  when a fat guy wearing a skin tight jeans started gyro and rolled up the jeans few folds and then gyro again as i was prayng the sunnat and nafils namaz after zuhr and the guy on the right after peacefully finshing the whole prayer put his left hand exactly where i right knee should land as if i was not there and even if i was there there was no chance of me doing the prostration anytime before he gets the chance to get up and leave . So clearly this give an impression that either i was invisible or at the wrong place at the wrong time . Usually what happens is that when we rush in to a already standing or started namaz we don't have a choice where to stand or with who . we just rush in to get a place to stand in the order or the rank as it is at that very moment and join . So many time we get there and in the whatever of the moment we stand next to the fruit seller rotten tomato . So the moment the namaz jamaat finishes you want to get up and leave to get the fresh air and breadth but the late comers get up and continue to finish their prayers leaving no room to get out without disturbing them which so religious ly not correct. waiting Sometimes is very difficult and if it is forced then it seems like a punishment . So that was not the case with the guy on the left in a tight jeans as he stayed there even after me left . And it was also not the case with the guy on the right as well because he finished his whole prayer in a very normal fashion at a very cool pace . So my deduction is that they were trying to ignore me as if it makes no difference at all to them if i am or iam not even if you put a hand on the Not for a few moments lol

Okay its time for the break no i am not going i believe i am done for the day .
By the way i have a very very good news for the Ludo Star fans and friends Pakistani's . The net is back for almost all . So Please Enjoy !

Abstract

The very features of Pakistani society that are represented so prominently in Karachi - ethnic and sectarian heterogeneity, political fragmentation, economic disparity, demographic pressures, steady erosion of the state's institutional capacity and the footprint of international conflict - are the ones that challenge the stability of the nation state. From being the national political pulse, the city withdrew into its own violent politics in the 1980s - development that paralleled a wider process of political disarticulation in Pakistan. This paper provides a perspective on institutional breakdown, using political violence as an index.
The analysis of conflict and violence in Karachi presented here focuses on the processes that made Karachi an open city - openness to migration and informality. The informalisation of public provisioning, which was often aided and abetted by state organisations, was premised on the legitimisation of private non-state arrangements for contract enforcement, and the strengthening of social networks based on kinship, ethnicity and sectarian identity. Qualitative accounts of the histories of land use in six very different types of localities are interpreted using this approach, which offers an understanding of breakdown as well as recovery and the prospect of political negotiation.

Which tells where it all begin

A brief chronology
There has been a steady escalation in violence
in Karachi – led by polit
ical violence – since
the early 1970s. Up until then political, student
and trade-union activity was largely peaceful
and violence was limited to isolated brawls that
rarely led to a casualt
y. The main source of
violence during such movements was the police,
and on rare occasions the military that were
called in to quell agitation. Sectarian religi
ous violence between Sunni and Shia mobs did
take place occasionally, but this posed a security
challenge only on particular days in the year
when religious marches of rival sects happened to
cross each others’ paths. Much earlier in
the late 1940s the city ha
d witnessed communal violence
against the minority Hindu
community, most of whose members were
forced to flee to India (Khuhro 1998).
The first political movement during which non-st
ate actors – mostly mobs of youths – used
any significant amount of viol
ence was in the early 1970s when
the newly-elected provincial
assembly of Sindh passed a law requiring the teaching of the Sindhi language in all
educational institutes (Pakistan Forum 1972).
This was seen by many members of the Urdu-
speaking majority of Karachi as an assault on
their cultural and po
litical position in the
province and the city (Rashid
and Shaheed 1993). There were
cases of ethnic violence as
well as other acts of mob vi
olence, but the situation wa
s quickly brought under control
through enforcement and political negotiation (Rahman 1995).

Okay I got it . Now can we move on please ...

10:11 pm Break (4515Words)

10:46 pm Okay so now we are in the final hour of this my the Sunday Blog # 70 . We are just a week away from the next sunday which according to my calculations could be the INDEPENDENCE DAY eve that is the thirteenth of august 2017 is that so YES ! so if i survived this week then my next sunday blog that is the Sunday Blog # 71 will end at the mid night of fireworks and loud music concert and flags and one wheeling of free eidi wali motor bikes from game shows or charities . Anyways

I had decided not to post any social media or media in the last hour but this one made me smile
So as they say hanse toh phansi so now i give up the rant that was brewing up in my head for this last hour of this my the sunday Blog # 70 .
Okay so now its getting hot here and instead of eating the icecream we were all made to eat chinese chicken soup as a precaution to the irritating cough that my dear brother has caught in just ten day here now imagine how hard it was for me to be there for the isha cum taravee prayer for a whole month without catching this cough or flu while some were delibrately trying to spread the germs the weapons of mass destruction . Anyways this was not what i was trying to say so i am feeling hot inside because of the food and the computer is hot because of hot weather and continues operation and the net this probably being used by everyone in the house so now i may not be able to turn it off to cool down so i think that going on and on for the next thirty minutes may be very difficult for me and for the system so i need to shut down once more or i could end this my the sunday Blog # 70 right here right now and go and enjoy the icecream . What is better ? I think that the later is better because what nobody in my dearly departed parents( May their souls rest in peace in heaven Amen!) family and friends was able to do or undo Finally happened today . If my dearly departed Ammi ( may her soul rest in Peacein heaven Amen !) had been alive today she might have been very pleased .or extremely annoyed for wasting time anyways if the distance is two kilometers you can walk , drive or fly but you can not reach there without completing the two kilometers distance .So let us all pray and thank the dear lord all mighty Allah for making America great first .....LOL

Okay the net is slow now very slow and this could be our own fault for over use or longer use or heat up of the modem so i have to finish it now .

Okay so now i leave this sunday blog # 70 with something very different and ofcourse my favorite no doubt . It was one of the most experimental experiment of the PTV music . ThankGod All Mighty Allah the Americans kept Lahore more than a arms length throughout my living LOL
Anyways My Elder Brother is praying for hard rain for karachi this week so there will be less chances of rain this week . Man i love the Count down to the Eid 2 . Enjoy !
