Today is the Last Sunday of the year and it is also the Fourth death Anniversary of my dear Elder brother and childhood friend Aslam Bhai....May his soul Rest in Peace in Jannah

 and may he be granted more than his fair share of Hoor al Ayn Virgins in Jannah .

I fall asleep after watching Kral kaybederse and missed the midnight...woke up at 5:30 am 

Hurriedly got up and prayed Isha Prayer 🛐 

with a prayer for my dearly departed parents Papa and Ammi and the Recently Departed Aslam Bhai

May the dear merciful Lord All Mighty Allah have mercy on my dearly departed parents Papa and Ammi and may they be blessed by the dear merciful Lord All Mighty Allah and Their Souls may rest in peace in heaven. Amen !

There were still few minutes till the astronomical twilight 5:53 am and fajr time so I heated water and fried an egg for my dear elder sister who was already up and sitting in rickshaw (chair) waiting for the fajr 🛐 Azan 

I prayed Fajr 🛐Prayer 🛐 

with a prayer for my dearly departed parents Papa and Ammi and the Recently Departed Aslam Bhai

May the dear merciful Lord All Mighty Allah have mercy on my dearly departed parents Papa and Ammi and may they be blessed by the dear merciful Lord All Mighty Allah and Their Souls may rest in peace in heaven. Amen !

At 5:58 am after the first Azan sound was heard from a distance ...

Now I am doing this my the Sunday Blog № 508 ( Five hundred and eight) lying in bed.

This week  had two extra holidays...the 25th on Thursday and 27th on Saturday 

No garbage disposal on 25th but water coming...there was no chuttee Chuttee chuttee for me ....

Similarly on 27th there was both so no chuttee Chuttee chuttee...

On Friday I visited the family graveyard....and was shocked to see the remains of the desecrated graves of my parents and Aslam Bhai 

May the dear merciful Lord All Mighty Allah have mercy on my dearly departed parents Papa and Ammi and may they be blessed by the dear merciful Lord All Mighty Allah and Their Souls may rest in peace in heaven. Amen !

Two famous ladies passed away yesterday....a banker ( State bank of Pakistan)and a beautician ( Bhabi's salon and spa)...passed away 

And a lady who passed away in London ( MQM) last week was also brought here....

Not only getting a grave in our family graveyard is now very expensive but also maintaining and preserving it for the next generation is also expensive ...

got to get up or I will fall asleep.....

So the year 2025 is almost finished...it is hard to say if this was a good year or bad ....even more difficult to judge if I have been naughty or nice .

After watching couple of reels now I am very sleepy 💤 

Got to put down the mobile before it falls on my head after slipping from my hand ....

3:38 pm Woke up with the sound and smells ...( Aroma ) From the kitchen...

Everything was ready.....

So I ordered Naan sheermal from Allahwala biryani...

They said 60 minutes.... Rider came back n 70 minutes...the haleem was cold....

Anyways ....it is a tough job and the restaurant do not make a parcel...or tie all the  ordered items together...

Anyways ...since it was for the fateha ...so I was glad that he brought my order before 1 pm ....

After safely keeping the hot naan sheermal in the hot pot ...I changed and rushed slowly to the bakery ...to buy the cake ...

The walk in the hot sun was really amazing ...the streets were totally empty and the road also had very little traffic...

After returning home I realized that the last two eggs have been boiled...and the eggs tray is empty...so I went to the nearest store and brought eggs and walls feast ice cream bars....

Now I was very sweaty...but there was no time to heat the water as the cooking mafia had Started setting the table ....so I had the cold bath and did wazu and prayed Zuhr Prayer 🛐

Then I helped set the table and unbox the cake 

We took pictures and then we set down to offer fateha....

Four years ago Aslam Bhai ' s chehlum fateha was on 6th Rajab and now his Fourth Anniversary Fateha is a day after the 6th ....

I cooked the deg ka Khanna on the 25th December....and cooking mafia cooked mutton pulao....we were expecting chaapa....

Anyways ...

The Asr Azan have started so I better get up and pray the Asr Prayer 🛐

Have already watched the Turkish drama series Gunesi beklerken...so practically I am free to lie- down and do the Sunday Blog till it's time to get up and check the water pump....which I suspect might be delayed...we had delayed water supply three days of the week ...this week. 

Anyways ...the biggest event of the week...very very Historic....is the snow fall in Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦 and hail storm and heavy rain in the UAE .

Social media is flooded with both real and Ai generated reels and clips ...of flooding in Dubai and Qatar .

The crazy Arabs are probably using the cloud seeding again this time in winter ....it doesn't feel natural...in fact nothing feels natural .

Yesterday I was watching a reel of the flooded road in Dubai ...where car were stuck in flood water but a Tesla was running...similarly some Scottie have been seen in Mumbai rain ...I can't say about the Mumbai rain but Dubai and Qatar are insanely rich....and they may instantly switch from the petrol cars to EV Tesla and BYD 

Let's see....

Also what if this heavy rain and snow came down on the holy sites mecca and medina....this could be my last chance to perform Hajj because the later Hajj will be in winters.

Anyways it's time to check the water pump and have some breakfast ...I will have a fried egg or the leftover maghaz nihari from yesterday.

Weather is unbelievably hot and humid for a Winter Solstice

The neighborhood is just as quiet as the previous Sunday mornings in this December 2025 CE 

But today I am sure this silence will be broken when next door ground floor ball throwing  kids Murtaza and irtaza family  returns from picnic ....this week I returned all his balls ...they were so happy that they throw back two more ...and came next evening again....

Yesterday they hired a big silver bus and went for picnic ...

They left in the afternoon without covering their street parked cars...so my guess is that they will probably return today ....happy and exhausted....and will not throw or fetch a ball past or present....

Funny isn't it....? 

Builder mafia is losing it .... impatient 

My back pain has returned ....only feels when I change position or stand for long....

2:45 pm Had Maghaz nihari and pulao leftovers...for brunch and fall asleep...

Did not feel the back pain at all during the sleep...the neighborhood is quieter than I expected.....

 4:01 pm Had a hot bath prayed...but in the mean time ...sister bought Rose 🌹 plants and other colorful flowers.....because of the builder mafia there is not enough sunlight in the lawn and the air has too much dirt and construction stuff in it...we can only enjoy the seasonal flowers ....that comes with the plant....for a week or two ...after that these colorful flowers fade away and the plants dry dead. 

Sister is happy and the seller is happy ...who care what I believe....

The picnic party has not returned but the shouting kid has returned ...on the hot solar roof 

Even though many Azans have been going on since 3:40 pm ...but now the official Asr prayer time has started 4:12 pm 

So since I am still with the wazu...I better get up and pray Asr Prayer 🛐

So after the prayer ...I boiled water , boiled eggs , made tea with ilaichi ( cardamom)

The worst thing was peeling the boiled eggs ....the white farm eggs we are getting recently for couple of months have a very thick white inside skin ...this skin is glued to the egg shells 🐚 on one side and with the egg white on the other. 

 Raw egg white is thick and very sticky.

If you try to peel off the egg shell the boiled egg becomes the university road. Deformed and shapeless...and trust me ...I have tried everything...boiling for longer time ...cooling for longer time .... cooling multiple times...etc 

Nothing helps ...

Time to check the water pump....

8:58 am Break 

10:31 am No breakfast or Sunday  brunch ....not because we have a fateha later today but because...the weather is hot and humid ...not suitable for winter treats and nashta ...

And talking about fateha ...chicken karahi and mutton yakhni is ready....now I have to soak the rice and cook...cooking mafia is retired hurt...her wrist twisted while lifting heavy cooking utensils...

I am doing most of the manual work while she is only updating my software....

Well as they say too cooks spoil the broth....so I feel that the chicken karahi is a little undercooked...but looks great ...while mutton yakhni is over cooked ....the fat on meat is totally dissolved.....and the meat on bones is also breaking away....

The cooking mafia despite pain in writing wrist ... wanted to start early but I delayed so the restaurant and shops on panda wake up and open on this hot and humid Winter Sunday....

I have to order naan bread and cake ...for fateha ...if not available...I may have to go myself and bring it from the market....both shops are half a mile apart ....no idea why ? 

As I mentioned earlier Today is the 18th ( Eighteenth) death Anniversary of Papa ( May his soul Rest in Peace in Jannah Amen 🙏) 

He passed away after the third cardiac infarction and renal failure....he survived the first two and he almost survived the third as well...but could not Survive the Peritoneal dialysis 

He was not okay with the process and preferred the alternate medicine for renal cleansing and revival....but the third time the hospital doctors forced Peritoneal dialysis...

It was a chaotic year....2007 

Benazir had lost the lobby and I had lost the library.....for ever .

2014 + 7

2021 + 7

2028 ...?

There seems to be a legendary symmetry in the year of funerals in this house...ever since .....Papa ( May his soul Rest in Peace in Jannah Amen 🙏) loved to study astrology...

And he used to mention the 7½ years darkness in ones life ...

but this is incredible 

According to this legendary calendar.....me or one of my siblings have less then three years left.....

I am ready and relaxed....

إِنَّا لِلَّٰهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ

Not panicked at all.....

My elder sister ( cooking mafia ) also prays regularly and recites durud pak whenever she is not cooking or on  facebook or when not distracted by my gossips....sometimes when she is seriously reciting the durud and I distract her ....she is very angry...

We have stopped going to every tom dick and Harry's funeral so that our survivor is not overburdened with a large crowd at our funeral ...I am not into prearranged funeral and booking burial site ...you never know ...

On 7th December 2028 CE I would be almost 60 years old ...if I unfortunately survived ....I would definitely like to move to an old home instead of living here with complete strangers who would love a big crowd funeral with red noses and black dupattas....

Have you noticed many idiosyncratic television actresses got married...like ushna shah and kubra Khan ,saboor Aly etc after intense funeral scenes in recent years......it is so much better than the Ramzan and muharram transmission which nobody watches anymore.

Just checked market oven is now open on foodpanda ...got to go......

12:54 pm Took a quick walk to the market ...there was a long queue for Puri tarkari...so I only took the halwa for fateha and moved on ...next stop was Allah wala for the taftan sheermal and doodh wali naan ...

On the way back ..I stopped at dairy shop and took lassi parcel. Also for fateha ...actually I needed it right now ...as I am thirsty and sweaty....

The rice are soaked falak select ....so now it will probably take 15 - 20 minutes to cook the mutton pulao...

Now I have to rush once more to the bakery to choose a cake ...

I wanted to cook the degh ka Khaana but some other day...the land grabbers are already excited don't want to give them any false hopes

I have rested enough.....sweat is also dried and now the winter chill is taking over 

So I better get up and get ready to pray Zuhr Prayer 🛐

Besides the shouting kid a broom 🧹 vendor sound coming from the otherwise very quiet neighborhood... absolutely no traffic....on the street.

Trends have changed a lot in the past 18 years....family  and friends used to have kids weddings on the 14th of December....we missed so many weddings ...now today is the madrassa mulla reciting Chehlum of Phopha jaan....we were not invited....

Ammi ( May her soul Rest in Peace in Jannah Amen 🙏) used to say that people who come on Thursdays are invited for chehlum....

I am glad that I was able to attend his funeral and also recited surah Yasin at his home. He was a jolly good fellow....me and Aslam Bhai ( May his soul Rest in Peace in Jannah Amen 🙏) always enjoyed his company. 

Allah maghfirat farmaay aur Phopha jaan marhom Kay darjat buland farmaay aur Phophi jaan aur Aamir ko sabr ata farmaay...Aameen

Amazing.... truly amazing episodes this ...just don't understand the location of the rooftop scene....

Wait....knock knock.... smells like egg omelette and fried toast....got to go ...

9:57 am Yes it was breakfast call.....I thought we'll have brunch...at noon ...but smells from neighborhood...motivated the cooking mafia....

For some odd reason...the food smells from the neighborhood have increased and I am absolutely not sure which is from where.....just pure guess..es....

Heard Water pump from across the wall ..so I also checked water pump....no luck ....it's still chuttee Chuttee chuttee 

Neighbors pump is also running empty from the sound of it....

Just like the previous Sunday it is very quiet....except for the demolition komatsu hammer drill in the next row.....the Sunday shouting club at the hot tin roof next door have not returned yet...it's essential staff only... holidays....or evacuated not sure...

The other cold blue tin roof boys only club opposite got a smaller ride less than half the price....and different number  plate.....aah

Gate opened.....got to go

Okay so I got up to check the gate ...cooking mafia was buying fruits ....from the push cart .....three citrus fruits and banana.....

Then she took out the juice...

I checked water pump again just to be sure...

And the water was coming ....no idea why they changed the Sunday time ...so the Chuttee... chuttee... Chuttee was very short lived illusion.

Anyways 

So now after a few regular street vendors and pushcarts...and motorcycle carts ....and loudspeakers.....the quiet silence dominates except for the kamatsu hammer drill....sound...

And now...the Zuhr Azan have started 

So I think since I am not very sleepy....I should get up and pray Zuhr  Prayer 🛐

Yesterday I saw many Ai fake fifa videos ...where Mr President Trump is being Ridiculed by a FIFA head and so is Canada and Mexico....

Many high profile Ai fake videos were launched on the social media this week ...

I seriously believe that children should not allow their parents to have social media accounts and access to Ai tools. I am very glad that my vgotel mobile does not allow meta Ai tools to be downloaded from play store

The City Commissioner told the Sindh High Court that milk tests in Karachi revealed 22 samples with formalin and 8 with phosphate, confirming widespread adulteration. Authorities emphasized there is no reason for price hikes, especially as winter lowers milk consumption.
