Good Morning and a very happy Islamic / lunar New year 1447H
7:15 am Fall asleep...because of overeating and too much television.
Woke up at 7 am to a Sunny Sunday Morning...I really don't think it's fair...the Met experts predicted Rain and thunderstorm for today...
Very very unfair...I was enjoying rain soaked Mangoes ...I ate half a dozen different....kinds ...four to be exact....sindhri,chunnsa, anweratol and dussehri....
For some Unknown reason most of the mangoes available in the local neighborhood market have wrinkled skin....first I suspected that these could be from cold storage a year old ....but now we are in the mid season ...a month later....all the month of June is gone...
Got to get up and check the water pump....
10:04 am These days I am remembering things....I started making tea ...and got busy with the water pump....now I am drinking very strong tea ... stomach is totally empty...but with mostly sunny sky ..I don't feel like eating mangoes at all...
The neighborhood is very quiet...only the birds are singing...
There is no news on the local channels except the rain damage...The Deja Vu....
The social media...is still disgusted over the swat river tragedy...where a family taking selfies got stranded in the middle when spill-way was opened...or as the social media suggest... flood water started to flow ...it's a pretty scary view...for hours they cried for help and people made reels of them some are even using Ai tools and filters to enhance the desperation on their faces and in their voices...when their was really no chance that somebody could have recorded their voice unless on the phone....
Anyways ...we had a similar incident last year...and I am sure the local administration must have purchased or approved funds for the procurement of helicopters and other rescue equipment.
Since everybody seems to be sleeping 💤 in the neighborhood...I should also rest my eyes...till noon Sunday Brunch....
Actually I was expecting more rain today...but it's Karachi on the contrary...Karachi is so big now that it never rains in Karachi anymore.....
No I am not joking ....the cities of Karachi have rain ...yes ....there should be multiple mayors... responsible for their city...
Okay now I am sleepy 😴
But before I take a break....
I wish to thank the US supreme court....for their historic ruling in the trump appeal.....
I may be far away from the bar but I feel the joy when I see a good decision by the supreme Court around the world ....nothing gives me more pleasure than watching the justice prevail...democracy saved ..and constitution upheld.
Here in this historic judgement, the US supreme Court...stops every lower court judge from interfering.....in the Presidential Bullshit and saves anxiety and heartburn caused the temporary injunctions.....the most euphoric was the anti tariff injunction recently ...

7:07 pm Woke up and helped cooking mafia receive the grocery from panda🐼 mart
For some odd reasons... panda 🐼 mart restricted the diet 7up to four per order...no idea why...
Anyways ...I had a bath and
prayed fajr qaza and Zuhr ...while cooking mafia cooked pasta and karahi...
After prayer I also joined ...this late lunch ...while waiting for Asr Azan....
After taking pictures and videos...I tasted the salt...as I was feeling drop in blood sugar level.
Just a day earlier ...we had the meals and Mangoes during the rain ...today it was the same place...without mangoes and rain...seems the world apart....I deliberately avoided mangoes ...even though it was not burning hot as it was before the rain ....
Prayed Asr soon after the Azan
And lied down on bed and watched reels...
Watched ARY's drama inteha...

And now it's time for Maghrib Prayer 🛐
with a prayer for my dearly departed parents Papa and Ammi and the Recently Departed Aslam Bhai
May the dear merciful Lord All Mighty Allah have mercy on my dearly departed parents Papa and Ammi and may they be blessed by the dear merciful Lord All Mighty Allah and Their Souls may rest in peace in heaven. Amen!

11:20 pm it has been one of the quietest Sunday ever...
No parties...no BBQ...
The majlis scene is also very slow ...no real excitement.
People are very unsure how the Budget will impact their lives....
They are really concerned about the coming petrol prices.... rumors are that Levi will be imposed.
The non filer restrictions are quite insane...which is forcing many to quit using the Pakistani banking and currency...There is no other way left...
The filers does not feel safe at all ...
And the funny thing is That finance ministry , the State Bank and FBR ... does not appear to be capable of controlling everything ....if people stopped using the banks...
It's been two years since they announced the change of currency notes ....and keep delaying.....to the end of the year
Corruption and lack of infrastructure will probably force them to rethink and change the rules. People are still wondering how a bankrupt almost defaulting Pakistan and years and decades long sanction stricken Iran won the wars against solid economy countries.
The good thing about Pakistan is that ...nothing here is final ...rigid...
Okay the time is up...
Papa's cousin's wife passed away this week ...nobody informed us ...
