It is raining with Thunder ⚡

The Weather of Karachi changes very rapidly but remains unchanged.....

So this one night stand will definitely be bygone by dawn . And the lucky thing is that today is The weekend....Sunday ...so no need to get up or get wet for anything or anyone not even the garbage disposal.

Today as you can see I started this my the Sunday Blog№ 399( Three Hundred and Ninety Nine) a little late and the reason is pretty much the obvious......

No gas to make the tea ☕

Electric power was shutdown after few drops of rain ....so I was wondering what to eat or drink to keep warm and how to warm or heat it without gas or electric power . We do have coal and wood But it was wet due to rain and may take some time to burn and ignite .

Suddenly I realized that the Whole Chicken I reeled a little ago would be warm if not hot as it was a little while ago .

So I searched for the torch and ran to the kitchen opened the pressure cooker ...the chicken was still warm . I took the leg piece and eat it .The light came after the first bite but was gone again with a bang . Then the cooking mafia insisted that I must try the gravy as well .

So I went back to the kitchen and took some gravy and the other leg piece and the bread ....light came again ...

Not sure if it was coincidence or Ai .

Anyways I am back in bed doing this my the Sunday Blog № 399 ( Three Hundred and Ninety Nine) and chewing the Cashew Nuts ....

Also I am feeling very sleepy 😴 and may fall asleep....

3: 00 am Still raining ....but not very cold ...or maybe 🤔 I am not feeling it here inside ...not going out to check . Still very sleepy 😴

4:15 am woke up with a sound and saw the light outside ...

Got up to check ....light drizzle ....everything is wet ....I don't know the legend but every time they put cement on the sewerage line ....it rains ....what were the odds of this kind of rain 🌧️ today .....

Finished the jar of cashew nuts ....feeling very sweaty ...need to turn on the fan ....

It's colder outside ....three ...four different temperatures....within twenty feet ...Which one is the real climate change ?

Astronomical twilight 5:35 am So fajr Azan is more than a hour away....not sure if I can stay up till then .

No gas yet .....no notice of a shutdown.....

Okay now I feel cold ....feet

Got to get up and turn off the fan . Feeling thirsty too .... need to sip a little water too...

6:04 am Okay ....yes the gas ( not petrol ) is back ....

Had tea ☕

Not sure if I can sleep now .... yesterday the top floor next door had majlis on loudspeaker....must be in a jam ....this Israel - Hamas war is very bad for small business.... global trade ....import and export ....last year govt put a ban on imported goods because of shortage of foreign exchange....hundreds of containers were stuck on port for month ... chocolates were being confiscated at airports ....the prices of imported chocolates and stuff were doubled in the local markets even of the near expired date . This year the boycotting of the foreign products has created a chaos....most imported available last year online or on the shelf are not yet available on Thanksgiving/ Black Friday ....most foreign food Franchise are using gimmicks like writing Arabic text on the entrances or announcing donations for Gaza .

And talking of gimmicks....

The Faysal Islamic bank of Saudi Arabia goes loco in Acapulco....

Recently Easypaisa mobile app offered an opportunity to the Faysal funds of Faysal Islamic to play with the zeros... through the mini app . In my curiosity and eagerness to learn the working of the mini app and mutual funds ...I opened the single click account with the minimum balance and gradually reached the five figure with a two figure daily return .....never a three figure ...not even once

I got my non Islamic non sharia complaint investment back ....

My dear siblings especially the dearly departed never trusted the online banking and investment....but they are happy that I am enjoying it ....

Something smells good in the kitchen....

Made tea ☕ and had a bite from the same chicken ....the neighborhood is very quiet....and I am falling asleep...

Prayed some ten fifteen minutes after the first Azan and the moment I fold the prayer mat ....the Azan started from the nearby mosque ...

Anyways ....

Had a quick meal .....

Watching hum tv ads with weekend drama series ishq murshid ....

9:40 pm Was watching Hum tv 's Fareb series....become very sleepy....so I came to bed ....turned on the mosquito repellent....but they already buzzed...so I Google why ?

9:06 am The 48th and final match of this icc world cup is about to begin in few hours time at 1:30 pm Karachi time . At Narender Modi Stadium Ahmadabad

The weather is almost the same as Karachi 10 to 12 degrees difference in day night temperature.

The neighborhood is extremely quiet this Sunday morning ....the only sounds I hear is that of Air Traffic for some odd reason they fly low or sound louder during winter months .

I love the morning chill but they say it's polluted....The Federal Air index ☝️ or something....not sure ....I don't see smog or fog here in my neighborhood....maybe they checked it somewhere near a kiln or a factory or at a flyover construction site ....

Woke up with sounds of a car ...doors opening and closing ...knocking ....so I got up and checked ...there was nobody ....must be around the corner....it is so quiet today .... anything is possible....

The Breakfast free delivery time on food panda 🐼 is over ....

I need to get up and get a refill of tea ☕ for me ...

1:40 pm Don't know how but the brunch took more time than I had expected ....

Water also started coming late ...so I had to check the water pump couple of times .....

But I did got lucky and watched the toss and the Two Nation Anthem....

If seems that either the blue t shirt was compulsory to enter the stadium....or the tickets were sold on Aadhar card only ....

Somebody tried extremely hard to make me feel cheated or cheating ....this week ...ridiculed themselves....having absolutely no inkling ....
