Okay so It was the tenth of Muharram also known as Ashura . As usual the mobile service and most of the market ovens or tandoors were closed . Markets , schools and even hospital in the old city areas were unreachable. Police put up containers and road blocks to provide security to the processions and rallies .

Anyways ....I stayed home most of the week and bought the necessary stuff from the nearest market or did online shopping from pandamart .

We cooked khichra or haleem and made milk sharbat for fateha in the last few days of the ten .

Besides that our life was very normal routine....we had regular meals , prayed regularly and watched the regular daily tv shows that we regularly watch .

Okay this reminds me ...that I have to go and check the water pumps.

12:40 am Break !

1:45 am it Rained a few times but mostly the drizzle. Korangi causeway was closed due to overflow in the malir river massive traffic jams were reported at jam Sadiq bridge .

This was rain and flooding related traffic jam and had nothing to do with the Muharram.

Sindh Police once again had to leave from the neighborhood abruptly.

2:38 am I am very sleepy.....could fall asleep any time now .....mobile also dropping from the hand .....

But before I go ..,the good news is that Baby baji of ARY digital drama serial ...survived

While all her sons and daughters in laws who were kicking her out are becoming homeless.

5:47 am it wasn't easy to get up....I was awake....but not able to get up ...so I turned on the Cable and there was movie on OSN where they were digging the Amish land to lay down the cable .....fibre optic to get millisecond edge in stock market ....The Hummingbird project (2019) ....

I got up ...and prayed 🛐 Fajr prayer

with a prayer for my dearly departed parents papa and Ammi and the Recently Departed Aslam Bhai

May the dear merciful Lord All Mighty Allah have mercy on my dearly departed parents Papa and Ammi and may they be blessed by the dear merciful Lord All Mighty Allah and Their Souls may rest in peace in heaven. Amen!

The movie ended with the Sunrise 5:59 am and I think I have no clue as to what really happened in this movie . I will have to watch it again .

The Twitter reminds that it's my 14th Anniversary of joining twitter. It is amazing that where most of my online activity has been deleted the twitter not only remember my Twitter activity but celebrates it . They say that it's my 14th Anniversary on Twitter the № of tweets is 133k . Funny thing is that most of them were twitpics the site does not exists anymore but my tweet with the twitpic link do exists . Most of the tweets were very impulsive and reactionary

So I cannot recall or understand now .

Some of the tweets were part of the conversation unfortunately over the years most of the Twitter accounts were deactivated or suspended so that tweets have become irrelevant or senseless.

In the past fourteen years social media has gone though a lot of changes and development.....in the beginning people were excited, cared less for cyber security and censorship. The focus was on freedom of speech and the liberty of

Association. People were following strangers and making friends with the like minded strangers from the world over . Twitter was not only amazing it was also challenging ....in many ways and the biggest challenge was to say your mind and thoughts in just 140 characters or less ....the words and terms used in a tweet need to be precise and concise at the same time or there was a constant danger of being misunderstood, taken out of context or even outright offensive. In twitter as you all know there is no edit and deleting a tweet in the long conversation may appear rude or insensitive. And may take a political or religious debate from one end to another. Fake accounts and handled accounts were very difficult to realize .some times we thought we were twitting with someone and it turns out it was his or her PA . The blue tick was also not a guarantee that you are in conversation with the one same person you think you were with .

Harassment and stalking has no bounds getting rid of unwanted followers is not easy . You block an account and they follow you from another .

It was after a few years I realized that it is not safe to talk to strangers and comment and reply to everything that tickles my mind . At that point I became very unsocial and begin to tweet or twitpic without caring about the comments , reply and likes . Kind of one way traffic ....very Autocratic....

Now I wake up and post a morning mood tweet . And retweet or like stuff they show on my timeline. During the day I check the news tweets and local hashtags ....and post my meals and food pictures . Don't care at all about how mach likes or retweets I get or how many new followers followed me or unfollowed me .

So I was sleepy but the most unexpected gate banging started ....the water board guy wanted me to check water pumps and the kmc wanted garbage disposal.....on a Sunday Sunny Afternoon .....I can hear thunder ⚡ from far away ....the clouds on my head and sight are mostly broken not thunderous .....so I cannot say where I could be raining or who is in a jam so desperate to to keep me awake or wake me up if I am already asleep.

Someday I will know .....

Anyways , I had brunch with the leftovers khichra and khichri so once again I am very sleepy.....after siesta for few minutes I will get up and have a bath and pray 🛐 with a prayer for my dearly departed parents papa and Ammi and the Recently Departed Aslam Bhai

For some odd reason my Google has chosen or bookmark news and updates about FBR and BISP ....I don't see the correlation between them but somehow I never took both alerts seriously ever and this week actually during the Ashura mobile and media block ...the Geo entertainment network thought of a brilliant idea....it put on air the former FBR chairman Mr Shabby Ziddi in shazaib khanzada show together they did a sham e amiran instead of sham e ghariban .... don't know why they did this show in a geo tv news studio ..... instead it should have been recorded in a London ,Dubai or Mumbai Bar or club swimming pool with half naked girls serving the drinks ...

No sure about the rest of the nation ....who were watching this show while enjoying their dinner ...but I thought that it fulfilled the shortfall of a no new episode of Baby baji due to respect for Muharram ashura . And also covered for all the scary FBR and tempting BISP ehsaas Alerts that Google updates for my viewing night and day .
