Today is the Sunday the 15th of December 2019, the 17th of Rabi us Sani 1441H till the sunset ( 5:44 pm ; karachi ) And this is my the Sunday Blog # 193 ( Hundred and ninety three ) .
So this was an awesome week everybody was on holidays . I can still hear the sound s of excited young toddlers in the neighborhood at this hour in the night and the older ones playing some racket game . I too got relaxed and sleep most of the day time . We had two fateha this week with Pulao and lots of food to eat . Praiseth the Lord All Mighty ALLAH Amen !
On Monday it was the Giyarween Sharif and yesterday that is on Saturday it was the 12th death Anniversary of Papa
( May his soul rest in peace in jannah Amen ! )
The traffic was horrible and Careem rides were super charging 3 to 4 times the normal fare . Younger sister had a Doctor's appointment and Doctor Saab had an in laws engagement and the dear elder brother had a Bar exam ...so mostly it was just me and the cooking Mafia .. still I am surprised that we had an above 75% attendence
Amazing 😍
And foodpanda delivered the 🍰 cake and sweets 😘 so I did not have to go to the market or even set foot outside the door . Which is a giant leap forward in my life because usually I fuss a lot in going to the market at the last moment for the fear of not getting back in time and miss the fateha even though I know that it won't even start without me or the things I am gone to bring but can do nothing ..
The other fear is usually that the decision I have to make about the choices 😒 at the market . When I shop for myself I have the full freedom and even if the things I buy or bring home is not 💯 good I don't really care what anybody says ...but here if you are shopping for somebody else and for a occasion you feel really bad and sometimes even embarrassed 😬
Buying sweets 😋 and Cakes 😘 is definitely very difficult especially when you are on a budget and you have to cater to a very different age group ..the older ones prefer the fruity creams while the younger ones won't even touch it if it's not the chocolate flavor .
So anyways thanks to foodpanda I bypassed the undecided and got lucky beyond my imagination .
And because of that what should have been a family affair became a mutual admiration society between me 😇 and the cooking Mafia for her Awesome Mutton Pulao not to mention that after the two previous disasters the dear elder brother made sure that all the ingredients were Best 👌 quality and also gave some extra time 😊 for cooking hoping for the best .
And by the way I finished the Quran this week and had finished one earlier so two were offered in fateha from me and one by my dear sister .
I wish Papa and Ammi
May the dear merciful Lord All Mighty Allah have mercy on my dearly departed parents Papa and Ammi and may they be blessed by the dear merciful Lord All Mighty Allah and Their Souls may rest in peace in heaven. Amen!

There is a very mixed ( Mila julla ) reaction to yesterday's episode of ARY Digital'$ MPTH (Merry Pass Tum Ho ) on the twitterville but it is still the number on the local Twitter trends

Unfortunately I missed the episode but just going down the Twitter trends whirlwind slope I have a very good idea what I missed . That is why I love this Twitter so much wished so much we had something like this in the eighties before the Cable ..back then in school most kids belonged to very conservative families and the were not allowed to watch the television or movies and especially the Indian Bollywood movies because the crazy American general s believed it was no good for minds and business . So some very smart kids used to read the star dust magazine and talk about the unseen as if they made it themselves or knew someone from the production team
Anyways , whatever the twitterville feels about the characters or the story , i feel that the production house or the team was not expecting such huge positive response they only had a game plan for the negative reactions . The dialogue between the wife and the servent clearly seems to be the attempt to keep an option open and put the sponsors under pressure .
Most sponsors have decision makers who are bread and buttered in a very Western world they do not believe in the sanctity or sacrosanctity of the institution of marriage and even if they do they consider the Right of divorce greater than the birth Rights . If that's the case than ayeza Khan fans could still have a field day both on and off the twitterville .

So no matter what the people and government of MQM tells us ...our moon date is not getting any closer and neither is our weather . Unlike Islamabad or Lahore and especially Peshawar and Quetta where it is the mid winter we here in Karachi the most dangerous city in the world ☠️ are experiencing the second or third coming of winter again ..yes that is very true unlike the rest of the country where summers are hot and Winters are colder here we have summers getting hotter and Winters also getting hotter . I don't know about the rest of the city but for me there are two signs of Winter coming or almost there ..first when I see the hot roasted peanuts push cart parked at it's usual place in the market and second when the hot and cold water taps start dripping tip tip...tip .

Maybe some folks with good quality plumbing and imported sanitary Wear have no idea what I am talking about but here in my bathroom and kitchen the tap water dripping started once again this no cold winter it started few weeks ago and then suddenly stopped now it started again . Feels strange because when the wind blows it rocks ...but here even the twenty four full hours of clouds cover did not or could not put the cold winter weather on the right track.
The Sri Lankan and PCB teams returned to Lahore to make it rain but my dear cousins who were hosting a marriage ceremony this week scared it away . Funny isn't it that here in this city we have timings of different weather conditions or seasons . Like right now there are few scattered clouds with a little fog but when I will wake up at noon it will be very hot and sunny 🌞 which will be totally different to the weather and temperature a few hours later and further change with the sunset
Now tell me how in the world can a normal and sane person out and about away from home keep adjusting to this weather and temperature change all day and night long ?
Okay the Azans have fully started all across the town so before I fully fall down to sleep 😴 let me take a break for prayer with a prayer for my dearly departed parents Papa and Ammi

As usual some people miss Papa more than me or my dear siblings and family or friends ...and top of that list the first is the British Lahori Broadband . Yes of course the net is shut down again this year on his death Anniversary 😭 only this year they did not shut down the CATV maybe because it becomes very Gothic from East to West in the house two sets keep running all day . The third one only opens for news updates or breaking 😥 News . The only reasons why they miss Papa (May his soul rest in peace in jannah Amen!) so much is because they arrived a day late after his passing away to connect the Cable🤖
Doctor Saab who was visiting from abroad had sponsored ( fall for aggressive marketing of the sales. bravo 🤫) it for Papa (May his soul rest in peace in jannah Amen !)
So he May stop watching the Indian content saas bahu serial and watch the Haj live on the Saudi channel mubashir 1 or something like that . It was a pre paid three in one Cable deal . So when they arrived ten days late the house was in mourning 😒 and the cable guy was Access Denied . Then about a week or two later one afternoon as I returned from the local mosque nearby after the zuhr prayer with a prayer and Quran recital for Papa ( May his soul rest in peace in jannah Amen ! )
Doctor Saab requested that the Cable Guy wants to check your room and connect it to Broadband cable ..oh dear God the All Mighty ALLAH Amen !
I had a TV in my room no two both working one color and the other a Black and White ..very cheap local brands bought from my own pocket 💰 money saving and stipends ( boring story some other time 🙉)
So anyways this reminds me that now I have to buy a smart TV with a new net connection any suggestions ?
I have heard that the smart TV cannot be repaired so it's a big gamble this is the real reason I did not buy one yet and watched so many awesome movies on a tabs and mobiles and old non digital TV sets .
Okay I am sure that somebody has called the Cable company in Lahore so their mourning 😒 must have changed to rejoice mode ..I wish there was a way possible to end the mourning and regret of Doctor Saab as well for not being able to attend the fateha ...
It is really not prudent to have anybody miss the food of a sad occasion

Had an early dinner now I will fall asleep and miss Nazli ( Seren Şirince) the Urdu1Tv Turkish serial which is about one of the son of a richest family of Istanbul , the young brat is a famous Playboy and a womaniser but due to some bad debts and misfortune he is being ridiculed by a poor village girl living without parents with her aunt
After being ditched by the Playboy as a newly married bride she follows him to Istanbul and fires with the gun missed got arrested she calls her aunt in the village from the station . The aunt calls her long lost father who dumped her mother years ago and married a city girl . The father who probably lives somewhere in Europe or the US and is even richer than the rich Playboy's family sends his other daughter the wicked step sister to rescue Nazli and teach her to get even with her husband the Playboy . She plays the role of a very rich British entrepreneur and buys off his business and clears the debts but haunts him night and day .
It is a very light comedy of errors but since we have watched and survived an even dumber comedy serial a love triangle ... sorry a quadruple with the same actress a year or two years ago , I feel I will survive this one too...
Two more Geo entertainment Tv serials ended this week . I was not seriously watching both of them but it was very difficult to not familiarize with the characters and story . The apologetic Geo entertainment once again choose to save the marriage instead of a Right of divorce .
Anyways it's time for the movies of the week but first I need to take a small short break and check out what's happening outside

Two more Geo entertainment Tv serials ended this week . I was not seriously watching both of them but it was very difficult to not familiarize with the characters and story . The apologetic Geo entertainment once again choose to save the marriage instead of a Right of divorce .
Anyways it's time for the movies of the week but first I need to take a small short break and check out what's happening outside

The Election in uk ...was it mid term or fall short term elections were a disaster as expected ....so there is nothing to comment about it ...His excellence on the other hand was in Karachi the most dangerous city in the world ...this week and among is many enlightening tweets the one that was more felt by the like minded people was this one ....
