So it's the Second Sunday in May . The Mother's day .

Ramzan shopping ended as the moon was not sighted by the Azad committee .

There was no Chand Raat .

Since I was not celebrating Eid ...I did not have to worry about any thing ....watched a movie , prayed fajr and fall asleep . Suddenly I woke up with the ringing of landline ...

It was around 9:46 am in my mobile ....knew it must be Doctor Saab and family .... hurriedly got up to open the doors and gate for them but they were already in ... with the special treat of the day ...yes the kachoris .

Nobody eats them anymore ...so I got to eat most of them . They were softer than most I had in recent years . The friers in my neighborhood are overdoing everything . The crispy broast is often so hard it hurts the gums . Same goes for the samosa and pakora . So I was not looking forward to bringing or ordering the kachoris this year . But Doctor Saab brought them even thought I told him we are not celebrating Eid .

Anyways there was something different about them besides being soft to bite .

After eating so many plus other carbs like aloo choley ..I did not have the food coma ...but my eyes remained half shut . Like sleep walking .

Doctor Saab left early ..

And few more people came and remembered the recently departed .

Skipped lunch and skipped dinner . Had ice cream brought by food panda 🐼

As it was already decided that we would fast the six after Eid also know as Shash Eid . So we had sehri and fasted and forgot about any festive foods or chilling drinks all day till the Sunset .

And so all the tensions about Eid That we were not celebrating ended .

Did not have any chaapas or the gate banging this year of which we were so used to and abhorred.

In fact I watched couple new and recently released movies on cable and Netflix .

Like THAR , Atrangi re , I am not done yet ( Kapil Sharma ) , kill the Irishman ( inspired) .

Today's word has a double letter but I got lucky after trying the whole keyboard ...there was no option left for the fourth and final word .

Time flies ...it's almost sehri time .

Had two past meals iftari and Sehri with saltless food because sister had abnormal blood pressure

12:11 pm Fasting

Had a very cool and relaxed sleep , no dreams , no uneasy thought . No gate banging to wake ...very quiet silent morning . Eyes and specially the left one is less blurred can read the news tickers from a distance . Ghash slight fits 👹

I was extremely depressed in the last leg of the holy month of Ramzan . I felt that my prayed for rain in Karachi is having a very negative response . Everyday not only today's weather show hot 🔥 and sunny 🌞 but the next ten days weather had no change at all . But then the clips of floods , people drowning and dying in floods , houses collapsing and bridges falling begin to appear on media and social media from the north and west and I thanked the dear merciful lord All Mighty Allah Amen 🙏 that I don't live so near the mountains and glaciers or rivers .

Petrol prices were not increased by the govt on the first of the month against ogra summary BUT the finance minister shared a copy of the agreement with imf about tax levy on the oil and petrol products by the previous regime which says a Rs 5 gradually be imposed upto a Rs 30 tax . In dollar terms ....the nose will be grabbed in the next week revise from there if not here .

The initial euphoria of a stable economy after regime change was washed out this week . Prices of basic commodities suddenly increased during holidays . Dollar. Rises and stocks market fell . Baji Maryam did her first jalsa at fateh jang and did better . Her next two rallies and videos will set the course for the future of Punjab and pmlN .

The you know who seems much better poised after the holy month of Ramzan . Everybody who is anybody in their good books was sent for umra before the end of season and educated .

Punjab in the Next general elections will be a jungle .

Ending on a lighter note ...one of the top trends today in Pakistan is #Dania Shah the third official wife of still MNA due to a rigid , written constitution of Pakistan without a parliament strong enough to uphold . An upper house Senate to check violations of the constitution and interference from any external body .

Dania shah filled for divorce ( khula ) and asked for the ancentral property the famous liaqat house in khudadad colony . Now what third wife of few months does that anywhere in the world ?

Unless a deep fryer wants it very badly .

A little while ago my dear elder sister dropped a miracle bomb on me ...she told me that the replanted dried considered dead sapodilla ( Chikoo) tree has new leaves . I did not believe her as I put an incense sticks on that tree every day for my Recently Departed brother May his soul rest in peace in jannah Amen 🙏

I thought she must have mistaken a quasi qualis branch twisted on the dead tree trunk

So I checked it myself ...also google pic searched which returned ..miracle fruit which is a berry and has very similar leaves .

I feel like crying so much and for so long that I go blind .

Sister needs help with foodpanda 🐼 rewards she is ordering some groceries got to go ...

5:28 pm finally the spinach for my palak Pakoray got delivered by foodpanda 🐼 from the other pandaMart outlet ... across the rivine ( nala )

7:54 pm it's has never been this quiet and silent in my neighborhood ....not even on the cold cold nights as it has been this whole week . As you know Sindh police was on holidays . Their holidays are ending today . The black and white vigos and jeeps would be arriving any moment now.

Thus ending week long dead silence elite neighborhood look ...thank you .

Amazing isn't it ? No no I think it's ironic ....is much better ....I fried and ate saltless , chilli less palak Pakoray for her and my dear elder sister having abnormal blood pressure and sugar ...had hot and spicy mutton karahi with extra yakhni meaning double salt.
