and this decade was definitely of the game or thrones ...Honestly and whole heartedly Thanked the All Mighty Allah Amen ! after watching MS shafi's tweet about it ...and again ...after the Jordan taylor's tweet and image .
Like the dynasty tv series of the eighties ...

I used to feel really bad when somebody mentioned a sequence or a character from the show in some other show or in the print media ...of the popular shows i was not able to watch ...But now since i have the net and the google and especially the youtube etc etc ...i can always check the details and clips and know what it is all about ...and whether it makes any difference in my life if i donot watch the show or the series the whole wide world related to the media is watching ...makes it very much easier to let it go ....So with no regrets about the game of throne show and season nine or whatever ...almost a whole decade lost ...

Okay the eyes and the throat is clogged with mucus ....if i had not been fasting for the All Mighty Allah Amen ! i would definitely be drinking the masala tea or the chicken yakhni ...but for now i guess there is just this my the sunday blog # 162 ( Hundred and sixty two ) ...here by sitting upright for an hour or more ...all the mucus in sinus or the head will eventually go down or out ...lets see ....

This year i have developed an immunity from most of the local and imported viruses and bacteria .. ..the other night while i was purchasing the curd and 7up from the local milk shop on tariq road ...the counter guy acted really weird ...kind of saying ..."you weren't here ...." were you ?

So anyways ...lets see if i can survive the second week ...
Strange ...i believe i over slept today ...was expecting to be woken up by the chaapa early morning around ten ...doctor saab must have got busy elsewhere ...or choose to relax with the fast ...it must be tough for him to have a sunday like this ...he is use to to the working sundays while he was abroad ...and here we have all closed sundays till afternoon ...people who wake up early for prayers or work ...are not many ...some sleepless go out and dig the breakfast scene ...the rest go back to sleep like it was a wrong number ....In ramzan the scene is more slow ...most people wake up for sehri and sleep after fajr prayer very few are seen on the roads and streets ...at eight , nine or ten ...hardly any public or private traffic on the streets and roads which are so jammed in the evening you wont even believe yourself . So even if he had tried to come today he may have not found a ride to bring him here ....and then there are the dug up roads ...to make Bilawal the Prime Minister of Pakistan fund ...2019 . Every road that lays a golden egg has been slaughtered by the Thugs of Karachi .....okay this reminds me ...its Maatam Time ....!!

3:42 pm For over two hours of continues tirade of words ( filibuster )lying straight on the bed facing the fan ...at one point i was told to shut up and just listen ...but i did not ...and see the results ...the verdict is in ...nasal ans sinus all clear ...blur-redness gone ...did not do the recital ...have to finish this my the Sunday Blog # 162 ( Hundred and sixty two ) because after now there is no time ...after Asr ...i will be working in the kitchen preparing the iftar ...then iftar and prayer ...then dishes ...and preparing for Isha and taravee ...and shopping ...will come back after eleven thirty ... and who knows there maybe no net ...so to be on the safe side ...let's finish it after asr ...and see if there is a chance then maybe update or PS and add a few lines and pictures , food images ...or tweets .
So that's the way it will be today ...Since now i am feeling much better and guilt free ...so i believe i can add a few food images of the sehri i forgot to in the previous session .
The kulfi with pheni and chocolate syrup and rooh afza looks really cool ...i tasted just as good ...trust me ...the best thing for this weather ...
oh by the way ...this reminds me ...just now while i was having a bath before the prayer ..the sun bathed water in the tap or the last of it was a bit warm ...not like the cool one in the bottle before ...so my nostrils experienced both cold and warm water ...they are now so clear ...that i can smell the Ocra being burned in the pan in the kitchen ...in the neighbourhood ....oh wait ...let me check ...saved !

So we have the dinner ready ...now lets see what we will have for iftar ...not in the mood to go out and have fun ...before iftar ...It is not specifically fun to go out for shopping because for some known reason i have lost all living and dead sponsors ....my dear Aunts would be so pleased to hear this ....especially that one ...yes ...when Papa ( May his soul rest in peace in janna Amen !) passed away over a decade ago ...i told my aunt who was to worried for me ...that i have lost one of my main sponsors ....she remembered it even though we were in the mourning ..the next time when my grandmother died and she came for condolences we met very briefly as i was seeing her off ...she suddenly quipped ...and how are your sponsors ...I was so shocked ! like high voltage shock ...quickly i gathered ...my tiny pieces from the ground ...before we reached the main gate ...and she sat in the car and drove away ...., i replied "few remains "

Anyways things are not as bad as they may look from the outside ...i sleep over fed and wake up care free ...befikri .com ..a state which the previous and the next generation could only wish and pray for ...and after being thankful i only pray that the dear All Mighty Allah Amen ...wakes me up the same way on the judgement day ...Amen !
And talking of judgement ...the only case ...is now almost done with ...fairytales had curtains ...the grandparents house is now a vacant plot after complete demo- operation Pathans ...Guns ...bulldozers and Dumpers ....a small hut (choki) has been set up by the pathan or probably kashmiri chowkidar ... see him every night coming back from the isha and taravee prayer ...enjoying the cool breeze ...the neighbours must be feeding him . That is how the game so to speak ended . Soon the new buyers will start construction of a three storey flat building ...and a year later some family will be raising their kids ...living their lives ...very little chances of somebody known or relative moving in ...So for the rest of my life ..or until i am in this neighbourhood and visiting the same mosque and shops and eateries ...i may pass by and remember the good old days of my childhood . or if the mafia hated it ...or me and did not want me around ...they may place somebody i cannot stand ...just to make me avoid the street and the way ,,,just like i was doing for so many years after my dear Grand Parants died ...and some familar belligerent strangers took over and tried to take control just to get extra more than their legal share . It is still not clear what forces or pressures made who to pay our share in parts ...But it was fun to be finally getting something which was so much better than Nothing ...
So for the time being ...it is really fun to be once again able to walk in my grand parents neighbourhood freely carefree ...befikri.com . The few irritating neighbours are very confused . Especially since the Bin Hashim super store was burned to ashes ...it was already in Johar ....so what 's that got to do with it ?

So now the movies of the week ...
since taravee prayer started from monday evening ...and net was not available during the day ...so i did not have enough time to watch the movies in the night before sehri ...after sehri i did not want to watch the movies and also was very sleepy so first i finished the one i could not finish last week ...then one night as i was channel surfing i accidentally found the Ocean;s eight ( 2018) its an all girls affair ...and nothing like the original series ...but since i was not able to see the finish last last i thought it would be great if i did see it s end just forget about it ...so on HBO i watched it ...luckily the cable guy also wanted me to watch it ....they cut the breaks short enough to be non existent and the movie finished mush before i had expected ...with enough time left for the sehri peacefully ...
And the third one i started to watch ...and then sleep ...so the next time i did watch it or was it the one after that ....anyways ...Three ...yes that is it ...this week i only watch three movies ...the whole week ...only three movies ....wait ...let me translate it in to the dollar terms ....yes just three movies ...this first week in Ramzan Kareem .
Okay so have to end now ....no this is not a formal end ...but just in case i could not come back and resume so this is it a prayer break with a prayer for my dearly departed parents Papa and Ammi

i wasn't sure if i will make it today to the mosque for the isha and taravee prayers in time ...tried to get up and preparing early still by the time i was leaving home the Azans have all stopped ...so it must be after 8: 47 pm or something ...reached the mosque only a minute before 9 :00 pm ..No idea how do the four rakat' s of the sunnat by the time imam saab say Allah ho Akbar ...anyways standing in the rank ...for the isha prayer i was sweating so profusely ...it was then i remembered that i should have not taken the second help of the choley white grams ...and also the dahi baarda masala ...but who cares ..you never know when you might get a iftar like this ...again ...it is better to enjoy while it lasts ....
Today we finished the seventh Surah of the Holy Quran ...in taravee ...
No. of verses: 206
No. of Sajdahs: 1 (verse 206)
Classification: Meccan
the sajda or the prostration was done in the last of the twenty rakats ...
From the mosque i went to the market oven for the nan and chapati bread ...for dinner and sehri ...coming home i had more than a bottle of chilled lemon rooh afza ...and some snacks from the iftar ...so i skipped the dinner now i will probably have sehri in two hours and a half sometime after 3:30 am ...it is exactly one am right now so i better take a short break and see if everybody is sleep and if water is coming or not ....etc etc ...will also surf the news channels to see if everything is okay with the Iran ...

2:12 am ...SO With the beginning of the Holy Month of Ramzan ...no matter how much comedy and comedy of errors is done by the East and west Pakistan regimes ...the fact remains that ...my dearly departed Ammi ( May her soul rest in peace ) choose a time before iftar to leave this world ...Why ? Some people give a lot of importance to Iftar and sehri in their life ...and few are unable to see that ...they disturb the peace just at the very moment or try to ....just as shameful and abhorring this act of theirs is ...understanding not or realizing not is even more shameful and abhorring ...completely hateful .

وہ کیوں گیا ہے یہ بھی بتا کر نہیں گیا

احساس تک بھی ہم کو دلا کر نہیں گیا

دیوار راستے میں بنا کر نہیں گیا

وہ اپنے نقش پا تو مٹا کر نہیں گیا
گھر میں ہے آج تک وہی خوشبو بسی ہوئی
لگتا ہے یوں کہ جیسے وہ آ کر نہیں گیا
تب تک تو پھول جیسی ہی تازہ تھی اس کی یاد
جب تک وہ پتیوں کو جدا کر نہیں گیا
رہنے دیا نہ اس نے کسی کام کا مجھے
اور خاک میں بھی مجھ کو ملا کر نہیں گیا
ویسی ہی بے طلب ہے ابھی میری زندگی
وہ خار و خس میں آگ لگا کر نہیں گیا
شہزادؔ یہ گلہ ہی رہا اس کی ذات سے
جاتے ہوئے وہ کوئی گلہ کر نہیں گیا
so anyways ...this 2nd Iftar was her Fifth Anniversary ...and because of the traffic jams and busy life ...it was decided that we will have the formal fateha in july ...at last minute my dear Brother panic and left for the market ...while i was sleeping and just minutes after i woke up he returned with lots of food takeaway from the nearest caterer ...we offered fateha and then he called the Bike or careem delivery and send some food to the brother and sister two towns away ...surprisingly it reached on of them before iftar ...and then they shared ...so that way All Her children got the niaz and the issue of who could and could not come on so and so date and time ...was finally resolved . coming at iftar and then going back before taravee especially on a working day would have been extremely difficult has nothing to do with if they wanted or not ....
My dear bother probably has a especial body scent with the beggar women of the town smell from miles around whenever he is in the charitable mood ...on previous friday at the local mosque he gave one some money and the whole gang keep banging the door for hours ....nobody interferes when they are in the chargein attack mode .
So thank God the All Mighty Allah Amen ! that these beggar women on Jamshedtown did not find out of our secret 5th anniversary fateha of the dearly departed Ammi ( may her soul rest in peace in Janna Amen !) and we did it almost in peace !
Still there is no chance that i may let the 5th Anniversary date according to the English calender slip away quietly ....without a fateha or Niaz .
just like last year i did not forget infact i was ready for it hours before and preparing ....

Amen!

i feel so good and relaxed after doing this extended version of the Sunday Blog # 162 ( hundred and sixty two ) . Now for the next three of four Sunday Blogs in the Holy Month of Ramzan i will be very relaxed and will enjoy it as well as fast and pray ...eat and shop ...today i wanted to shop after the taravee prayer but had to rush home because the time was ticking only stopped at the market oven for bread . From now on that is the next sunday i will take my time and do the shopping first without hurry . Okay according to the calender there are only three sunday's in this holy month ...19 , 26 and the 2nd of June 2019
Eid could be on the 5th of June 2019 . Eid Mubarak !
