The piston pump's belt broke...it's a two belt pump...I changed both belts....now the pump is running smoothly...

Saima , Sajal and humyoun were all good in this episode...

This Macbeth tale is slowly converting into Romeo Juliet....but in my humble opinion...nobody cares..., babar Ali is no match for saima...

Now I wanted to do the Sunday Blog...but I am very sleepy 💤

The cooking mafia has started cooking something in the kitchen. It smells like lentils or pulses..it could be haleem ...why today ?

No idea !

5:59 pm When I woke up ...around 4 pm ...I learn that the cooking mafia realized that haleem would not be ready today...so she ordered late lunch ...which was on the way...5-15 minutes away...

I hurriedly got up and tried to be fully awake ...

After the lunch we watched the Turkish drama series Kefaret redemption

Nurgül Yesilçay · Zeynep Gökmen Çinarli

Is finally happily married....and had her well deserved Honeymoon...

But more interesting is the moonlighting of her Ex husband with the daughter's kidnapper....who call herself the mother of his daughter....A two-way Stockholm syndrome...the feelings are Mutual.

If I had been watching this episode on Air ....it would have been a special event .... extremely emotional.

The most super fast passing week of the year ....I haven't been able to finish the previous Sunday Blog № 487 ( Four hundred and eighty seven) yet...

The summer seems to have left...monsoon never came ...jamun and sindhri 🥭 Mango season is over. One third of August is also gone...

The weather this week remained cloudy and windy...received a few hundred drops of drizzle every morning while checking the water pump...not enough for me to indulge in eating mangoes 🥭 🥭 🥭

6:56 am Woke up to the morning drizzle...got hot tea from last night ..I must have removed the dry boogers during sleep ....now the eyelids are wet and blurry vision ...and slightly itchy throat.....with occasional coughing ...not sleepy....

7:34 am Okay time to get up and get out from the bed ...and enjoy the morning drizzle....quiet Sunday morning

Water is coming ....

Yesterday I woke up to an empty tank and rusty color and taste leftover in the pipes .... unfortunately I used it for bath ...and wazu ...jazak Allah

Somebody is feeding the crows and kites ...they are all lined up on the neighbors roof wall and cursing the town .....no chance of rain today .

A lot must have happened in the neighborhood, the family and the world ...but I had no time to watch tv news as me and the dear elder sister had blurry vision so we avoided moving around and especially going out and sit glued to the TV watching Nurgül Yeşilçay ' s Kefaret / redemption .....on YouTube

I am sure everything remember

Nurgül Yeşilçay from the magnificent Kosem sultan season 2

Here she is a desperate mother searching for her 3 years old kidnapped daughter for five years. The series has so many flash backs that sometimes we have to get up and sit-down to know if we are back from the future.....

Since we started watching...kefaret ...we started losing interest in sher , manto etc ...very rarely select the Cable on tv . Haven't watched masala ads all week...

The shouting kid enjoying under the hot tin roof/ solar panels....

This week I downloaded the Farmville 3 ....so far I have not gained control just following the arrow markings and instructions...unable to sign-in with Facebook...my Farmville 2 was also signed in with Facebook....at least my vgotel is not incompatible...with the game....

Disclaimer: I have not started Farmville 3 Animal because I have nothing to do without rain in the monsoon season...

Nurgül Yeşilçay AS zeynib found her missing daughter...who is not willing to accept her as her mother because her kidnappers has raised her believing that she is their daughter...and she loves them as her own .,..very difficult situation.

Anyways...

Had tea

The throat is itchy....left eye dried boogers vision blurry...

After almost two months of severe back pain ...today Alhamdulillah there is no pain in getting up or bending.

Not really sure how it went away...did not do any charity or helped anybody...had lots of junk food and takeaway....did not eat the healthy at all. And above all no walking or exercise at all.

It started with a Friday and ended with a Friday... hopefully the back stays strong and painless .

Sugar remained under control despite eating special Zarda and Matilda slice.

It was a week of the weather man instead of the girl.

Had earthquakes, tsunami alerts , rain and thunder all across the globe.

Back home the weather was mostly cloudy...but no rain... occasional drizzle...no rain....and thunder not at all.

And even though the Muharram ended but our next door neighbors did majlis ...all three floors ...the turnout was lowest ever...or probably the invite was not sent properly through WhatsApp....

Not sure about the breakfast...it feels so good to have a soft , empty stomach...on a Sunday morning....still can't believe how I sleep so much after eating vegetables for dinner.

Since I have been awake for almost three and a half hours...I am falling asleep..but I can't....have to stay awake to check the water pump ...

Cold feet feeling chilly...if I fall asleep...now ..I will definitely have a cramp ...

So I can't sleep 😴

No wonder I am perspiring profoundly....I love it when I get to say that...seems like an exact opposite of fat lady...I mean Lazy....

After firmly closing down my cheese burger 🍔 McDonald's

They have opened a cheese cake factory nearer...😴

And talking about...whatever...the most unbelievable mega even cancellation of the century...or the biggest ever April fool's in July ...

Somebody posted a wrong date of the solar eclipse 2nd august 2025 instead of 2nd august 2027 and everybody started worshipping....so sad ....I also checked very late...because I was very busy watching Sautan / Babem ve ailsi...a Turkish drama series...dubbed for Aan tv...I of course watched on YouTube...back to back until the 38th episode which is about 10 Bolum of a 13 Bolum series.

It's about the irony of a family man in the Muslim country where bigamy is illegal.

There are so many stereo type...series that I have watched recently...in Urdu, indian tv.. Turkish dubbed...I wonder why nobody made a series about legal polygamy....

Do do teen teen Chaar char....?

Oh no 10 O clock already ..

The throat is almost normal now and belly more deflated....sugar still under control...

Okay the most disturbing news of the week was of a father...throwing his two sons in the sea at doo dariya and then drowning himself.

Did not try to learn the details as I was very busy watching Turkish series.

ARY's drama series inteha had curtains with a cake...

It was very similar to Sautan / Babem ve ailsi

No breakfast...just had some tea and a walls feast chocbar...while watch episodes of a new Urdu dubbed Turkish drama series Babem ve ailsi/ sautin ..not sure if it's a original Turkish play or a translation...

But it's amazing...Mr kamal a successful businessman with a happy family in Istanbul...has twins with a lover in Adana...and a private jet...to stay in contact..... awesome...

The weather this Sunday morning is awesome cloudy...we did not have rain this week...only an early morning drizzle once or twice...out of 25 towns of Karachi...just two or three now believe in the weather experts rain predictions...I bought mangoes 🥭 twice this week hoping to eat during the rain because I have very sensitive thin skin...and can't survive the mangoes in hot and humid weather without a rain.

And had lunch ...by the time we were finished with fateha and photoshoot.....the chicken biryani was cold ...so we microwave it before eating...I missed that distinct student biryani aroma and tender chicken....lately the takeaways I order are half cooked...not sure what's the hurry....

Waited for the Asr Azan ...had a couple of refills of my small half cups ...must be a viral affect or too much spices...the mucus movement is very alarming ...trying desperately to avoid the infections....

The constant smoke and fumes from wood burning makeshift street kitchens of labour...cars and boring diseal generators...has polluted ..the air quality even in the living room ...

Anyways...it's time for the ARY'S Drama series inteha...climax...very tense...

And during the long mid break the Maghrib Prayer 🛐

Good Morning...!

It is a beautiful Sunday morning ...no need to water the plants ....wet floor suggests a light drizzle some time ago ...I missed it as I fall asleep after midnight and missed fajr 🛐

Rain so far is avoiding old Karachi ....and only touching the outskirts beyond sohrab goth...it is amazing that Karachi seems to be firewalled from both northern and eastern disturbances..... hyderabad is really taking the beating ...this time the news and media is not mentioning kotri river bed for a reason but if hyderabad is drowning ...imagine kotri...

Just like the indian drones ...the indian rain system simply disperse before reaching Karachi ... yesterday the rain makers gave a handicap to indian rain system by calling a shutter down strike of all major markets....to save the cloudy sky from carbon emissions and smog ...the rain predictions for Karachi have all failed this ...the experts are desperate....mango cart are overloaded ....I am not eating mangoes until it rains ....today after the light drizzle...and cloudy windy weather...I believe I can breakfast with a mango 🥭 or two...no more ...

Despite the falling building in lyari...the malir area land developers are also praying for rain ...to avoided the mini earthquakes....it is believed that excessive boring for water has made the earth hollow and it is causing the jolts of a magnitude of around 3 on the rectar scale.

If only we had started to desalinate the sea water some ten twenty years ago...instead of wasting billions of dollars 💰world bank money on useless k4 projects .....the Karachi sewerage water could have also saved the Indus delta ...

And also saved a lot of world bank money 💰

Last night it was decided that if it rained we will have nalli nihari breakfast or brunch ...with mangoes 🥭 ....alas...

No rain infact while I was out checking water pumps ...the cloud cover was broken..and partial sunlight fall on me....

The plants were also dry ...so I watered the plants ...

Aamir khan' sitarre zamin per was a mega floop...I desperately tried to watch it ...finally gave up....on the other hand The music band Coldplay concert became a instant mega hit showed Stars to an astronomer...shattered his home and love life ....

The group was performing “The Jumbotron Song,” when the camera turned a man and woman cuddling as they watched the stage. The two quickly separated and attempted to hide their faces, with the man ducking down, when they noticed they were on a giant screen at the venue.2 days ago (Googled)

Watching Coldplay songs ....to understand... comprehend.....

Aha...so that's what it is....f@#$$#@ Home breakers.....

Never really liked Coldplay.... don't remember a favorite.....

Okay ...I have made tea

And boiled half a cup of Guard basmati rice...not sure what to do next ....everybody is sleeping in the neighborhood..... except the ducks ...

The back side neighbors have a loadshedding....their generators are running...solar panels are slowly moving in the neighborhood...these generators will be obsolete very soon ....

Okay so there is no news on tv ...only the fillers...why would anybody be interested in kpk assembly session and the opposition....?
